im not one to actually cry for any type of media, but the nobu and hachi arc was one of the saddest things i ever seen in my entire life i spent one whole day sobbing

Yes Takumi was horrible indeed. He brainwashed Hachi to believe, that Nobu cannot love her as much as he did, which was wrong. Because Nobu cared about her. He even got worried.
Also Nana was not enough of a supportive friend towards Hachi, so she could help her get over Takumi. She also dealt with a toxic boyfriend herself (Ren), but still she could do something about it.

She literally choose takumi over him and she had a chance to be with nobo yet she ruined it i think she deserves the abusive husband takumi
she chose takumi during an awful emotional breakdown where her best friends told her that she didn't have to think about herself but for the future of her unborn child so she should stay with takumi to have a steady life. but she never stopped loving nobu and nobu never stopped loving her.
also, no one in this world (or in this case that created world but anyways) deserves an abusive partner.
@@marya1296 she didn't ruin anything. hachi was thinking about nobu's future and dreams, he always wanted to be a famous artist and he didn't want to work on his parents hotel, she didn't want to ruin that for him (in case the baby wasn't his) as blast was just starting to get serious. takumi was ass and a horrible person but he had the resources to provide a good life for nana and the baby.
also, no one deserves an abusive partner that's so messed up.

First of all, I try to get away from watching anything related to nana or even listening to nana osts (even though I love them a lot ) because they will evoke the pain in me, I stumbled over the thumbnail of your video on Google, I never intended to click on it, but looks like I did by mistake, because I found it in my RUclips watch history, I got attracted to it, I tried to stop myself from watching it, but when I saw the song in description box was cascada's "what hurts the most" I knew this amv would be amazing(reminds me of the days when her songs were used in AMVs +I love her voice ) , plus from the thumbnail it looks like it has a high quality, so I decided to watch it, And,
I cried ! The way you put the events, the way the scenes matched the song, and again, the song, I didn't know it has a slow version, it matches beautifully and it suits the sadness and the pain in their story, your choice was perfect.
You're so talented omg ! The quality, the transition, the way you organise the story, the song choice !
I see a lot of AMVs, but I'm telling you, few are the ones that I think of as perfect, and yours is perfection 👁️👄👁️
The irony that I tried to get away from your amv and was afraid that I will feel the pain again, but I ended up liking it.
I slowly managed to control my emotions about this anime, even if I cry, I feel like this is a beautiful kind of pain, I cried enough and I was in a bad mood for like a month because of this anime, the fact that what happens after in the manga is also sad and the fact that there's no hope for it to be finished left me to accept the reality and stop getting so emotional over some fictional characters, yeah it's kinda scary how a fictional story from the imagination of someone who I don't even know can affect me , like I kept crying for an hour when I read about ren's death 💀, and I at that time I had a hard exam the next day , but I didn't care, all I cared about was how can yazawa kill ren like this 😂.
Thank god I'm fine now, I won't get pissed of easily anymore when an important character die, and I won't cry when characters like hachi and nobu get separated by a devil like takumi 🙅🏻♀️.
sorry for talking a lot, but my heart is filled with a lot of things because of this anime and I have no one to share with. I swear to god I didn't even empty half of what I have to say.
omg, i'm so glad to read this comment! thank you so so much ♡ ♡ ♡ tbh, i also try to not spend a lot of time reading/watching things related to nana's story bc it really makes me feel miserable 😭 the tears start to shopw up just by remembering i- nana ruined me and i'm thankful because such a good story.
same here, my friend, same here. everytime i think i got over the anime it just takes, what? 2 flashbacks of any of those characters to break my heart again. such a beautiful (sad, beautiful and tragic) story and such a beautiful characters. i still hang onto the hope of ai yazawa continuing it. she said in different occasions she would, she continues to make calendars and stuff related to nana. i even wish she did a book at this point. like, she doesn't have to draw a single page of the manga, just make a text telling us if everyone is ok and happy today, pls 😭
and yes, there are not many nana fans active on twitter or tumblr. i think there is a lot of people that watched it and loved it but they just don't have an active account about the manga/anime since the story itself is not active either. but i think if ai yazawa ever comes back a lot of fans will start to be very active again, let's just hope!

Hachi didn't love Nobu. She loved Takumi but he wasn't a caring person which upset her. In the same time, Nobu confessed his love and he was her " ideal" boyfriend. So she decided to go out with him. But then Takumi reappeared and learned about her pregnancy. That night, he showed a caring side and her heart melted another time. She herself in the mangas stated that she didn't choose Takumi for the sake of the baby nor for Nobu , but it was because Takumi was the only one who was there to take care of her and to accept all her flaws.
Takumi always told her that if she is with him just for the sake of the baby, she can leave him and he will still take responsability
She had multiple occasions to leave Takumi, but she didn't. She forgave him for all his bad qualities.
I hoped that Nobu would have moved on and started a new life with Asami who seemed to truly love him and care for him . But he screwed up in the last chapters in my opinion when he tried to kiss Nana and took advantage of her loneliness and her sadness due to the fact that Takumi didn't call her.

Um, no. Hachi did love Nobu. It's made apparent and quite literally said in the manga that he was the first man she truly loved and made her feel what she felt.
I think she loved Nobu. Having child support from Takumi would probably not have changed that Nobu would have stopped chasing his dream for the sake of Nana and having a family. Nana truly did not want to burden him and was doing her best to support him from afar.
Nobu was actually the only person Hachi deserved to be with, in the end.
Shoji cheated on her and Takumi clearly took advantage of her the same way Asano did and got her pregnant.
i shed more tears for them in the series. and also of ren and hana1. i just wished she had explained so he wouldn't be in so much pain. but I don't think it doesn't make it less painful even after the explanation. I hated the fact that they romanticized a toxic abusive relationship with takumi and Ghana. but it could have been perfect and made sense if she ended up with nobu though.
