I don’t think this aunty would act in such a movie . Even the swim suit she wore was far more conservative. Also it depends upon the kind of movie , in bandit queen there was a nude seen with seema Biswas I guess , but this is a family entertainer especially for kids .
First half is funny af but if I remember correctly second half is quite sad
Because American skins and Indian Movies can't be even tone.
True that's why I wouldn't recommend this movie to them. First half is really funny but later half is really dramatic and emotional. I honestly didn't even expect a happy ending given what happened to Kajal and Raju but as it's a 90s movie so of course they'll give a happy ending anyways.

@nitin Sharma, true that.. comedies lose essence in translation.. Paresh Rawal' s funny jibe on dialogues like.. Sir, yeh Vasco da Gama ki bandook hai.. Paresh: Kiske Mama ki.. will be a total failure in translation..
thats a wrong choice of movie to review as the movie is full of Indian cultural and movie references. lots of shifts of words and syllables are there and its more of situational comedy and physical comedy is less. So i feel they will hardly get it when all the scenes depends on their wordings and dialogue delivery in the first place.

Nah. Main Tera Hero was side-splitting. Humpty Sharma and Badrinath had their cute and funny moments. Varun was the reason why Dishoom was funny. I heard that Judwaa 2 was hilarious as well. I can't wait to watch Coolie No. 1.

@@abhinavbanerjee8797 what's wrong bro , I have nothing against the actor I was just joking , When varun dhawan did the movies " October " and " Badlapur " very few people what these movies and appreciate the versitality of Varun dhawan to do these roles , have you seen these 2 movies and you just watch entertaining and Masala movies , you have to know the difference between an engaging film and entertaining film , a good film and a hit film , the difference between Irrfan khan and tiger shroff , Daniel day Lewis and keanu Reeves , before you say anything like that to me , You even didn't see a much movies like I did .

I don't think most people in India have a bathtub. We generally shower or have a bucket bath(have a bucket full of water and use a smaller container of about 1liter to pour water over the body. Later we lather up with a bar of soap and then rinse)

I wouldn't recommend the whole movie as such, the first half of the movie is hilarious bt the second half is super dramatic and emotional; I guess it's best to watch just the funny scenes and music numbers from this one xD

Something that wasn't translated was "Ram" - name of a prominent hindu God and "Mara" which means I'm dead/dying. Thus making the scene even more hilarious for native hindi speakers as "Ram ram ram ram ram..." Also sounds like "Mara mara mara mara...." 😂😂😂

There s this story ive heard growing up that like this crook when he was gonna get caught said the word 'mara' (meaning dead or gonna die) cont so fast that it actually became a chant of 'rama' (say it fast nd u ll get it xD) I think this scene has parts where aamir says mara again and again too so it still looks like he s chanting 'rama'
