He debuted in Sarfarosh (SI Bajju) alongside his brother who played Bala Thakur in the film. His other works include the film Hungama followed by Hulchul, Dhoom, Bhagam Bhag, Phir Hera Pheri, Chup Chup Ke, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Billo Barber. He played the role of Chanakya in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.
In 2018, Joshi was awarded with the Padma Shri.He is the vice-president of the Bombay Art Society.

They won't like it. Subtitles can never do justice to any of the dialogues in that movie.

Well tbh before criticizing u should gather all facts. Film makers make remake not just for clout but for our future generation as well. Our generation dont know the Golmaal movie from our fathers' generation. It came into light when they made a remake. So theres no comparison. No art. Just pure entertainment and continuation of our legacy. Bye

What you need to go back and watch again is SHOLAY! You need to make a tradition of re-watching it every year and see how much more you love it each year 😛 Another watch each year movie can be Om Shanti Om, just to see how many more references you get each time. A good parameter of growth 😅

@RaVan vader Original Golmaal of Amol Palekar is not a remake infact it was remaked to Malayalam in 1995 and yes Hera Pheri is a remake made by Priyadarshan who himself is from Kerala. Also this Golmaal movie is also inspired from a Hollywood movie not a Malayalam movie.
@RaVan vader I know I am also a Malayali but settled in Delhi. And most of the movies he has remaked are movies made by other directors of Kerala film industry.

that was 'andaz apna apna'.. but dont watch that movie, u wouldn't get it.. even indians didn't get that when it released.. it is the most underrated movie of all time.. didn't perform well on box-office.. it was the movie made ahead of its time.. now everyone love that movie..all the efforts was Amir's.. but salman overacted as usual
