The Arduboy FX has recently been released, but is it possible to upgrade the original Arduboy to a Arduboy FX? The answer is yes with the Arduboy FX Mod-Chip for $19.

Very cool little device! It's funny how this was a major upgrade that on other devices is a standard thing. I like how it comes with the games and you don't need to really do anything after installing it except for the reset.

Although I have initially thought that the popularity of Arduboy will die down, it hasn’t and it has been growing rapidly too. It seems like more people are into playing and developing the games compared to consoles like PlayDate. I can see potential for this as it has its own unique system and target audience. A pretty good console for quick and simple gaming.

Holding down up and down buttons at the same time for 3 seconds returns to the main menu. You do not have to turn it on and off every time. 😊

I enjoyed this video but at this point the layers of irony/post irony/collectors items/etc has gotten lost on me and I'm at the "at this point I'm too afraid to ask" stage

To me it's kind of an oddball thing that it wasn't too expensive so I figured why not. It's fun to turn it on every once in a while and mess around with it.
