GOOD overall video and review of SA! As someone that was born there and spent lots of time with grandparents there, you provided a really good "primer" for other first timers! 1. Stay at hotel near Market Square (LOTS cheaper than Riverwalk) 2. Visit Market Square and eat at Mi Tierra (Open 24/7/365). Walk thru the shops. 3. Visit Alamo and take Riverwalk boat tour. 4. With kids under 16 go to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Do NOT go to Sea World. 5, Drive to New Braunfels and Schlitterbahn or just tube down the river. 6. BBQ at Coopers BBQ (better thsn Blacks).
LOTS of locals will say "It's a tourist trap" but they are only partially correct, Sure it's a MUST stop espexially for a first timer in SA because Market Square ia a MUST see that is actullay cooler than the stinkin riverwalk. MI Tierra has SOLID old school food like enchiladas and puffy tacos that are just about as good as most places in town ESPECIALLY any place that has sprung up in the ;ast 25 years.
Next time in New Braunfels eat at Coopers BBQ....anyhting but brisket. Its a slightly different style with meats with bones the best (chicken, rribs. etc. Do not order sausage either. Their BBQ sauce is the ONLY sauce most Texans will eat on BBq 9thin and vinegary), Your wqelcome!

Live 40 minutes from SA for 50 years and still haven't been to Mi Tierra. One day I will make the trip.
