Excelente Maestro Michio Hikitusuchi Sensei. Fernando.
Yoshokai Aikido of Ann Arbor does not do what Aikido stands for . The Sensei Akira in Ann Arbor (Genyokan) has no Love, no harmony , no Joy, no treasure ! This is the truth whether you like it or not .
@@Moodo76 .... This was my experience and here to help others that may need a review . It's just the way you look at things , all things in life cause you are a loser . If you don't like it, to dam bad ! I love Aikido and the Genyokan dojo I just don't like how I was treated after giving 150% to Aikido .
@@goodboyringo9716 With all do respect, it seems to be your attitude towards others that is failing. I'm pretty sure the dojo you mentioned is just fine but you have a pretty bad attitude. My life is just fine thank you, but you need a new perspective on things. Have a great day!
@@Moodo76 .... You know nothing of me so your writings go in one ear and out the other . You look at things with a negative prospective and then try to convince yourself it's right, but it's a one track mind. I studied there 3 years so I know what went on with me and I'm not pulling my writings out the air. I also studied under Akira father years ago ..Sensei Kushida one of the greatest men to live. I loved him with all my heart and will never forget him. Once he passed Sensei Akira doesn't teach Aikido with love and harmony the heart of Aikido. Any Aikido Sensei that threaten to break your leg for nothing you did isn't teaching Aikido correctly . Love and harmony is the heart of Aikido and doesn't work without it . I loved the dojo and put my heart into my training , giving gifts , plating flowers and my drawings of artist also, spending over 3000.00 on my training . I still feel the sorrow of Sensei Akira's treatment and not being able to train, it broke my heart . Aikido builds a better person and puts love and harmony deep in you but if the teacher doesn't care, it doesn't work. You have hit a samurai spot within me so, better for you go on with your piss poor life and you will learn the hard way .
@@goodboyringo9716 Yeah well, you don't really seem like the caring and loving type either so I suggest you stick with Akira. I'm not the one judging or calling people names just because they disagree. You my friend, have a poor attitude towards others and you really should check yourself. Stay far away from aikido is my suggestion, in this case I believe that the sensei acted correctly and that it was you who failed.
Too much Shinto 'animistic' religion involved! For the Western mind this is very controversial; that's why it can only stay a true Japanese Martial Art. Of course Martial Arts has been used as a vehicle to introduce Zen Buddhism, and other 'Folk Religions' to the Western World! Zen teaches "detachment" of the world, favoring participation with the Divine through the development of the chi or ki. Christianity teaches a 'Personal God' with the eventual individual participation with the Divine in Eternity.
If you can't get over that then you don't have the openness of mind required to practice Aikido anyway and the art is better off without including that type of person
@@flexoffender8159 A man can live without aikido, aikido cannot exist with no man. It is the practitioners of aikido who want the art to spread, maybe they didn't have enough open-mindedness to see that their views are now universal enough.
As a Christian I tend to disagree. The principles of gentleness and respect for the fellow man is the same, as well as the aspect of preserving life. Of course aikido has a streak of shinto but I have no problem incorporating aikido into my way of life.
This is probably my favorite Aikido documentary! Thanks for sharing it 🙏🙏
"Your heart must be bursting with love." This is real aikido
The wisest martial art
Very good documentary !
The body and the soul altogether with Love and harmony
Wonderful. Thank you for sharing

So you're basically here to talk down on a dojo that you don't like. How is that helpful for others?
