- The first stop of our Southwest road trip is in Alpine Texas and Marfa Texas. We see the Marfa lights and Prada Marfa. We also visit El Cosmico and take a walk around Alpine.

Nice presentation, if ever heading south east of there stop in Del Rio at Memo's, a lot of history there worth viewing and Blondie Calderon's son still plays there as well as helps manage things along with other family members, it's on LaSoya street and walking distance from the border with Mexico as well, the place has been through a lot, floods etc but still around since 1936.. Say Hello to Cinco for me, Blondie's only son, tell him the ''Old Man from Maintenance'' sent you..

I’ve honestly always been a fan of the art scene in marfa and really want to go check it out. Was this a good time of year for the visit?
Expose The Heart We want to go back again to see some more of the art and stay at El Cosmico. We had good weather in Early May, it was Sunny, but not too hot, and it cooled down in the evening.
They even have Thai food?
