For all those who are taking care of children and parents with Alzheimer’s at the same time! You are not alone and it is hard and it’s ok to fall apart.
Bless your heart. You are doing so much, and living with so much love and compassion in the midst of grief. The physical work is endless, the emotional work is exasperating, even though you have help, in the end you’re the main caregiver. I’m praying that you can get long term care sooner rather than later. I’m also praying that Margaret can be released from her body, to soar with the angels, to be reunited with Bill, her parents and siblings. God bless you.
Just remember that you're human. You aren't a machine. You obviously love her very much or you wouldn't be doing it. You aren't giving yourself enough credit for all the things you are trying to deal with and you are to be respected and admired. Not everyone could do what you are trying to do so don't be hard on yourself. You are doing the very best that you can and that's all anyone can ask of you. Sending lots of love to you and a big hug ( cause looks like you need one right now ). Many people, I'm sure will identify with what you're going through and be thankful you posted this to assure them they are not alone. Stay strong lovely lady
