Star Wars First Order Stormtrooper Armor/Cosplay Overview (Yes, it TALKS!)

- This was heavily inspired by the Stormtroopers found at Star Wars Galaxy's Edge at both Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios!
This armor is about 95% complete with some minor touch ups needed and has taken about two months so far to put together! And just in time for the stay-at-home Halloween season!
Stay tuned for a Rogue One Deathtrooper that I am currently putting together aw well...

The bars are comm links/detonators, you see them used more by clones, first order and imperial troopers have helmet comms that they use more often
You should turn the volume up on the s-esker thing or you should put it in the chest instead so it’s louder
You should join the 501st Legion
Try looking into the UKSWrath sound system. It’s a in helmet voice amp so you can speak freely. Not to mention the sound quality is way better than what’s in the video.
I thought this was the full first order stormtrooper armour you can buy at Galaxy's Edge 😁

6:46 that is the built-in holster for the blaster pistol the SE-44C and when I say blaster pistol I don’t mean the blaster rifle a.k.a the F-11D first order blaster rifle but anyways it’s a holster or I think it is the holster for the pistol because I have seen some pictures

Check best buy if you have any close by, they should still have the one high end nerf blaster there :P I saw one in person a few months ago, not too bad actually for being a nerf gun. I think its on the more replica side of things
check the FISD or First Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment it has stormtroopers in the 501st legion and you could get the armor pre-approved if you wanted to join the legion as there is no first order detachment
Love the suit! Do you have any close ups on the armor so we can see how it’s joined up? Specifically for the forearms, thighs and calves. I know you said Velcro for the closure side but how is the other side joined? Assuming it wasn’t a cylinder to begin with.
If you want the E-11 blaster you can buy the nerf rival one. And it actually shoots.

ive always wanted to be a stormtrooper since i was a kid....watched new hope and return of the jedi non stop, love the original armor but would want to own a first order....just wondering how tall you are im 5'7 and always worried it will look weird or not fit right ...how much do you have invested in this ? i missed out on a full deluxe anovos first order set but have the deluxe padded helmet....would love to just try this on an see how it feels just one time!

First off I want to say welcome to the First Order we are glad to be seeing you in our recruitment depot. Generally, armor is built for people 5,8ft -> 6 ft, however, there would be very few issues if you are 1 inch shorter than the recommended height. You might just need to do more test fitting to ensure every part will fit correctly. As for the cost of armor that is largely dependent on the type of armor you want to go for. There are a bunch of options such as: ABS Plastic, 3d Print filament, Resin Cast, and Flexible Fiberglass but most if not all will require your time to clean up the kit, paint, and sand. For my kit, I initially spent $1060 on the armor alone(Fiberglass) which is a lot. The reason I did this is due to the fact that if you handle your armor nice it will rarely crack. It also is repairable and if you really don't want to do any work you can always take it to your local car body shop to have it prepared. (I am sure they would get a kick out of that lol) As for the feel of that armor, I was lucky enough to wear not Anovos but ImperialSurplus armor from my friend, and I can tell you that if you are not comfortable with sweat you better get comfortable fast. It's basically a human sauna and washing your undersuit, helmet padding, and other parts which will come in contact with your body NEED to be cleaned.
My final comment to this is that its going to be a lot of work, and I highly advise you do research on the forums, RUclips, and join some Facebook groups as the more people you meet the more knowledge you will gain. I understand and knew for years how much it is to customize and just don't have the space really to do it but tips and the reference you gave will be very helpful! I always wanted new hope screen accurate but just personally like the look of the first order better for some reason....would love to have both, my heart is in the 4-6 films but love the first order armor more ascetically...plus just more uncommon - been watching an missed so many suits over the years that were customized on ebay that were more my size its upsetting I just didn't jump on it then..just money really...one was a AWESOME accurate sand trooper fully hand done armor years ago was bout 1000 bucks ending bid an wish I won it since he said he was about 5'8....had all the awesome accessories also it really was a cool labor of love.....ya I have under armor spandex so got the black socks / tights / shirt an heard that helps with sweat but also know it doesn't at all in heat or game just better then what others use to wear in the past so just need armor one day, and the first order gloves are way better then the rubber ones for heat
but I feel I will end up just customizing and doing my own soon...probably the only way..Just need to find the right kit and or build, it just sucks being slightly "short" for a stormtrooper I guess ha but I'll make it work man, thanks again your awesome... I just looked up imperial surplus its great - I love how anything really can be 3D printed but see how that can be a personal sauna...just really heavy an thick - but I'm use to sweating and cant help it so honestly I wouldn't mind it probably unless as long as others around me don't ha

@@alexjohnson3306I hope you get taller and if your looking for armor there is a screen accurate armor which you get get at DENUO NOVO on the website there is a kit where you like get the armor hut cut it out which takes a long time or a ready to wear kit (pre order) the ready to wear kit is more expensive though… hope this helps😊

You can buy it a few places now, even Galaxy's Edge sells a licensed screen accurate version of the FOTK. 😎

How do you see in the helmet ? Well ? Bad ?
I have a first order stormtrooper helmet as well as an original imperial stormtrooper helmet. Both have somewhat of the same visibility but the first order is a little better. Basically you can see straight pretty well and you still maintain peripheral vision but you cannot look down without moving your whole head down lmao
