Easy Jazz Ensemble - Grade 2
This infectious and immediately recognizable Quincy Jones standard was popular long before Austin Powers introduced it to a brand new generation of fans. Easy to learn and fun to play, this will quickly become a favorite with your band and audience alike.

For some reason I love that alto solo so much. My school’s jazz band played it (not me, I play oboe) and the soloist was one of my friends so I got to hear over and over again and love the whole song but specifically that solo.
Me too!! It sounds so jazzy and fits in the song super well. My favorite is the phrase at the end of the solo. We played this in our school jazz band and it was awesome!
It was gouda
Pro trick : you can watch series at KaldroStream. Me and my gf have been using it for watching all kinds of movies recently.
@Edward Bode Definitely, have been using KaldroStream for months myself =)
@Edward Bode yea, been watching on kaldrostream for months myself :D
0:43 the trombones in my band doing this do such a good job and it sounds so brassy, you feel them in your bones and it’s so good. just a big, loud, obnoxious BWAWWWW↘️ i love it
Played this in a rather recent concert (Drums). Sounded great at the concert and the audience seemed to appreciate the solo fill at the end. Great job!
Never to fear Austin Powers is here
I played this for my 6th grade jazz band concert and it was such an amazing experience
Really hope my jazz band plays this.
My band made a flute play it.Im on barri and when me and the trombones either im the only one who plays it for some reason or im the only one that plays it loud and confidently XD
I have to notate the jazz (dance) routine we're doing in class for an assignment and this is super helpful for keeping track of the counts & identifying instruments so I can label the sections more clearly! thank you!!
I’m on piano for my schools spring concert and this is just so amazing
1:13 if you don't play that note at fffffffffffffffffffffffff, you are not a true trombone player
My jam
Here's my favourite part, but probably for a different reason than all of yours.

The drum beat is way off
Okay the soul Bossa Nova Quincy Jones ashamed to not including the correct feel and drum beat in this chart. Ewe!
The drums are all wrong it’s a not a straight 8 let me rewrite them
Sounds awful from the beginning. You missed D flat in piano intro. Come on, Człowieku Man! What's wrong with You?
