This specific song literally defines my youth, being a teenager. Going to highschool. Struggling. My parents divorce. My goals and dreams.
This cover, pierced my very soul, and I am SO PROUD of Tommy for doing this.
I know this cover is NOT specifically made for me, but it doesnt matter. Because it feels like it is. And I have never heard a better cover in my life.
This is my favourite song of ALL time. And I could not have asked for anything more beautiful than this cover. WOW Tommy.......wow. I thank you.

Man...not many who are not musicians know this one,but as a guitar man, a child of the 80s, and music lover,I love this so much. Was always my fav twisted sister song by far, and it also brings up nostalgia like only few songs can. I love that the artist sounds like Dee so much and even the video looks a lot like the original. Even if one don't like song much,you have to appreciate the lengths that were went to in making this cover. It's beautiful. And to me may also be in my top5 covers ever

This is the most heartfelt reaction I have ever seen and it was awesome. We all got favorite songs that takes us to another place and time, and obviously, this was one of yours. And I get it. I played the whole album almost on repeat back in the 1980's and while 'We're not gonna take it' and 'I wanna rock' was the ones with the cook/funny videos, The Price was and is by far the best song from that album. I love this song so much! Absolutely wonderful cover and video! I've never cried as much over music in my life as I do nowadays because of Tommy's covers. Tommy's voice evoke so many emotions in me that I can't even describe them. He brings joy and comfort to so many people's lives. When I grew up, this was my favourite song from the "Stay Hungry" album. In 2009 I saw Twisted Sister live for the first time, at Sweden Rock Festival. I was actually pregnant at the time (my youngest daughter was born in October that year). When she was 7 years old I brought her to SRF to see Twisted Sister on their final tour. She barely learned to speak English, but she could sing along to this song, because she loved it so much.

Why this song wasn't a single back then I don't know why my only guess is back then most albums only had two or three single releases so not everybody heard the song unless they had bought the album I do believe Tommy did do this just for you because he knows how much you have helped introduce him to so many new listeners. I do hope Dee and company gets to hear this I'm sure they will and will be very pleased of the results. I too got emotional seeing your reaction because I feel the same way about certain songs that I love too. Music touches people's lives and that is so evident in your reaction today

Saw TS open for Judas Priest in the 80s. Wasn’t a big fan but two things struck me:
1) Dee’s stage presence, and
2) The Price
That song was their lightning in a bottle

Didn't know the song and in fact missed most of the 80s Metal and the later branches. However I was truly amazed at Tommy's Hallelujah cover as was with your various sharings in this channel I've been able to watch so far. Which is why I came to this video.
Being so unfit for this song and style I wasn't expecting to comment, but your true openness is commendable and you are rocking charming (again). I felt like watching Charlie being given and opening the winning chocolate bar from Willy Wonka. It is truly remarkable to witness someone to be truly gratified with his/her deep desires. Am coming to the conclusion that whatever those are, such accomplishments become important.
The special thing with Charlie that set him apart from the other children (at the factory appreciation tour) is that he was truly open from the heart, his wonder was intact and his sincere acts followed.

First time I heard Tommy sing I thought, Wow this guys really good, but didn't think too much about it. Then I found Twisted Sisters and the price and i thought it was amazing and then I heard Tommy's version of the price and thought Holy Fuck! This is unbelievably awesome!
