Here’s a beautiful Disney vibe - my husband and I went on Indy a long time ago and we were going to be in the very front seat but there was this little boy and his mom behind us and he really wanted to be in the front seat. So of course we let him and then we had the pleasure of watching him the whole time with his toy story woody doll having the best time ever! He showed the doll everything, and he laughed the whole time and had a total blast. And we had a way better time than if we’ve been in the front seat. What a sweet boy.❤❤❤❤
David, we should never expect broken, poor quality show from Disney, especially with the huge prices they charge now. We deserve better, and Disney needs to do better. Loving Disney doesn't mean we have to accept getting less than we paid for.
I’m not necessarily saying we should expect it, though it has always been part of the Disneyland experience. I’m saying we should be patient and not get crazy and panicked. In the near future all will be well.

Yes, I’m nervous there’s a lot of excuses coming from the vloggers were Disney is concerned, especially where the disabled People are being treated like garbage.
They need to open up Galaxy’s Edge to the entire Star Wars catalog. And use John Williams fantastic music! Also, another ride and/or a sit down restaurant.
Galaxy's Edge is getting demolished in the not too distant future due to Disney being broken up under antitrust and losing Lucasfilm. George's family will own it again. Like anyone will miss Star Wars in Disneyland.
My husband and I feel the same way. All the other lands in Disneyland have music, the music from Star Wars is so amazing, it’s a big miss not to include it. I would also add droids.

Tiana shouldn’t have been repeated so often in the attraction. There are other second tier characters from the film who could have been added to create “Marc Davis” moments.
Thank you for the content over the years! Sadly, we decided to let our MK's expire this week(in fact, on the day of your video!). We had a lot of fun times at the park but for the last couple months we've gotten pretty burnt out and the crowds have been grueling. Maybe we'll be back in a few years!
Ditto! I am letting my key go this week, pretty much for the same reasons. Way too crowded to do anything but walk around or just stand in line for an hour + each attraction.
@@sharonshade4437 Yeah the majority of the day is spent trying to get into the parking structure, into the park, wading through crowds and waiting in lines etc. The real "Magic" is those days where the park was semi-empty. But those days are few and far between. 😂
The problem with Tiana’s is that it’s definitely more of a “dark ride” than a “thrill ride” like Indiana Jones. Tiana’s, or Splash Mountain actually, was designed around the animatronics. So when they don’t work it’s much more glaring than effects not working in Indy. Indy was designed to be thrilling.
My issue is the logs move too quick. And the scenes are awkwardly placed. You have to crane your neck to the left to see the awesome band. The animatronics are amazing! Gotta give them that
Tiana's is fake and a figment of your imagination. Splash Mountain is alive and well in Disneyland and I'll be enjoying plunging in to the Briar Patch with Brer Rabbit for the centennial in 2055.

YES THANK YOU. Someone made that comment a while back when they redid it.. saying its a fantasyland ride shoved into an eticket, and thats why it feels off. Splash worked cuz it was similar to haunted mansion- an omni style where you can enter any scene without having a start and stop, as it was one continuous loop. But with tiana's you have to trigger each scene, which is where they're saying the errors keep happening. When one log doesnt trigger the sensor, or it does too soon the animatronics freeze up, as per their coding. Instead of just copying what splash did, have them just have a loop of dialogue.
My key expires this month and I decided to let it go. The times I have gone in the last six months have been prohibitively crowded and many attractions down temporarily or for long term refurbs. I just can’t justify the price to walk around and eat snacks, when I can do that at downtown Disney or the hotels for free. Bummed to let go of the key, but too much to pay to do barely anything. I plan to use your pricing tier to go to a few expensive daily ticket days hoping to see fewer crowds, or some special night events instead. 🤷♀️
I boarded the Big Thunder train you were on right after you exited. Was only 80% sure it was you until you put on your hat. Big Thunder was not down for 90 minutes. It was down for SEVEN HOURS. I was most of the way through that line when it went down a bit before 9AM. I was checking the app for closures every few minutes all day. Indiana Jones opened very late and had multiple closures. It was also stopped while I was on it, but they didn't clear the line that time. Haunted Mansion opened late. They said they were having audio issues. Tiana's opened waaaaaay late. Rise closed at least once, same with Runaway Railway. Runaway Railway was down for multiple hours around mid-day. It was a very frustrating day, but I somehow rode everything except Small World and Astro Orbiter. There's probably some stuff I'm forgetting right now.

I was also not prepared for how far apart the parks were. EPCOT may have the worst layout of any theme park in history. But they have some cool stuff we don't have here, and I was very glad that I went.
Yes, because when 2 of 68 rides at the resort are down, the park isn't worth it anymore, right? That 2.9% of the park being unavailable should get you a discount. How about a 2.9% discount? That seems fair, doesn't it?
I remember the year Indy opened - it was a huge event! I think it holds a special place in my heart because of those memories. Indy is my favorite ride to this day! I will gladly wait in line for it :)
Disneyland was completed when Indy opened and when I take over Disney, the park will be frozen in time the way it was after Indy opened. Any attraction that opened after March 3, 1995 will be closed and reverted to its previous state.
We're planning a trip for the 70th. We missed you when we were there in 2021. We were also there for the 65th but we couldn't use our tickets due to Covid-19. I've been watching your videos since Covid-19. Back then, my son got a photo with you; you were on the big screen, and you're both wearing this hat. (We both named our son Tristan.) Anyway, thanks for the updates and hopefully Tristan can get a real photo with you during the 70th.
I rode Tiana's for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I loved the ride, but there were 2 animatronics not working at the time. One Lewis and the final Tiana. The problem with the animatronics just standing there, is that everything else around them has so much movement that they stick out. Especially the final Tiana. Her final song also sounded kind of soft, kind of like she was whispering. I think it is also off putting that her eyes keep moving around in a way that feels unnatural. I am still really happy I rode it.

The difference between Indy, Rise of the Resistance and Tiana with breakdowns is that the former 2 didn’t dump a classic ride, that worked fine, for something very few people wanted (more like okay with) and it’s been breaking down since day one.
Did we say the same thing about Tron or Cosmic Rewind? Did they go through "some things"? Maybe Disney should have just spent more money on this reskin instead of trying to half-ass it while knowing they were ripping apart an iconic and beloved attraction -- or they should have just kept Splash Mountain in better condition all those years leading up to it's closure.. pausing any major refurbs and not fixing dilapidated scenes for a decade really did a disservice to the attraction and has obviously left a legacy of dereliction. But if they did that, they'd have less of a reason to reskin it. The problem is that they couldn't have their cake and eat it, too.
My frustration does not necessarily come from the fact that Tiana's breaks down so much but that the ride despite being a retheme of splash mountain and not changing any ride systems or mechanisms still manages to close as often as Indiana when splash mountain was a very reliable attraction being a simple log flume. Nothing should've changed reliability wise yet the ride still evacuates around four times a day. This is the confusing lack of quality that upsets me.
43:43 the best way I could describe it is...make it like a Renaissance Faire. What I mean by that is, have random characters walking around. Have performers. Not the main characters but a random character race that is out shopping and interacts with guests. But that requires more actors and money to pay them 😅 but I really think that would add character that is currently missing. It's a market place with no people and doesn't feel lived in
FreshBaked. David, I feel much better after our walk around today. A sort of constitutional for the soul. When it comes to all the problems attractions are having you seem very calm and zen like. The new animatronic's are all electric ease of maintainance. Alarm goes off on the control main panel, maintainance heads over to the problem. Remove broken panel clip in the replacement, switch it on good to go. Tiana in the last scene has'nt worked from the neck down for over a month now. It does'nt look good when you've paid extera for Lightening Lane only to find your in another long line going no where. Cheers, Chris Perry.
The teacups are a magical place to watch a parade. During a parade, the line is typically shorter than what one rotation will hold, so you can ride over and over the whole duration of the parade. And the characters WILL see you and wave, as there’s not much else for them to look at as they pass the teacups.
Disney Magic IS that way at all times, for those who choose to see it. A lot of folks, especially those online, tend to ruin the magic for themselves by concentrating on any negative thing they can find.
The rides aren’t less than a year old… only the themes are new. The ride mechanics and other infrastructure are decades old. Think of it as painting an old semi-reliable car and swapping out the interior upholstery. The car doesn’t automatically run better because you changed the color.
I think part of the disconnect is you're viewing Disneyland through the lens of someone who goes to the parks constantly. For annual passholders/people who can afford to make the trip multiple times in a year, it isn't really a big deal if Tiana's has some animatronics down, or if Indiana Jones isn't open. The problem is, especially with the current costs, many people can only afford to go to Disneyland maybe once a year, if not once every few years. This makes every busted animatronic, every unexpectedly-closed ride, more and more of a jagged edge on your vacation.
I don’t think they’ll ever remove it. I think they value control more than staying true to their word. After enough passage of time, people will forget what was said, and just accept LL as normal now. Hope I’m wrong though.
Disneyland’s Magic Key prices climb higher and higher every year. The prices are so outrageous it seems like a joke. It’s also become increasingly more challenging for Magic Keys to get reservations on the day they want to go. This tells me Disney is trying to sway people’s interest in the Magic Keys. They want guests to pay for regular tickets. They want guests that are not passholders. I’ve been getting an annual pass infrequently since 1990. In the 1990’s, I remember the park was always empty especially during the week. Lines less than 15 mins. No fast pass no lighting lane. It was a smooth enjoyable experience at the parks. It wasn’t til maybe 2008 when I started to notice the crowd levels growing astronomically. More people were getting passes. As late as 2013, my pass was $300. And parking was free. It was post 2020 when Disneyland really started making ridiculous choices like the money grab with the lightning lane. They likely lost so much money during the pandemic being closed for so long that they’re still trying to get it back.
David, help me! I’ve been to Disneyland at least 15 times and have somehow never been on any of the streetcars 😮 Do you have a video that shows how to access those?
I like the design of the Madame Leota gift shop. It is supposed to be a carriage house and those at Louisiana plantations I have visited look very similar to this.
i don't like the tiana retheme after seeing it. and the animatronics don't work right because they are electric and there's too much humidity in there according to a former imagineer.
David, Regarding comparing Fantasyland to galaxy’s edge.Fantasyland has many more rides and the ambiance is old world Disney, while the other feels as if you have left Disneyland and entered a movie set with only two attractions, and one is constantly breaking down. Not much to do there otherwise? Just my opinion.
We got caught on Indy during a breakdown where they turned the lights on...i was flaberghasted by the lack of paint/polish and the amount of dirt and dust on the floor
@@aaronsteele7585 I got a long look at the end of the ride during a stoppage. Looking back, the floor right after the final boulder scene looked terrible, like the floor of an abandoned subway car. But I didn't notice it while the ride was moving, so does it matter?
@toddjones1480 just saying Disneys magic and perfection seems a bit faulty lately. I own a landscaping company and could comment on that too. No need to defend Disneyland here...! Dont get me wrong my family loves Disneyland! I just see alot of corners cut nowadays vs 20 years ago. Just wish we lived closer than 1k miles away so we could visit more.

Taking a break and just watching your videos because last visit was terrible: 1) Constant ride breakdowns. 2) Man slams into my side as he walks past me without an apology. 3) Paid lots extra for Racers only to be squished next to a Single Rider with enormous thighs who sneezed on me. 4) Got sick, coughed til my chest hurt, couldn't talk, missed work. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I have a question I’m hoping someone could answer. Was in line a few days ago for the haunted mansion and the ride closed. Front gate closed, the app said closed and the line started moving really quick. I thought we were all exiting but what happened surprised me. We ended up doing the ride in its entirety. And everything worked normally. Even the elevator room. So confused by this. And I’m a Disneyland veteran. Can someone explain what exactly I experienced there…
was just here from 22nd to 24th as they were the supposed LOWEST attendance times. Place was PACKED!!! and i mean PACKED!!!!! hour long waits on almost all rides all day. To add salt to the wound, every single ride we went on....broke down over 10 times. Trash was everywhere, bathrooms destroyed, food was junk. Everybody there acted the same exact way people did buying up toilet paper during covid, walking up to a line and people come in literally knocking people down just to get on a stupid ride and willing to throw hands over. We'd be standing in line and people to the left and right were constantly trying to pass us and did so multiple times until we kept calling them out and they all just rolled their eyes. Disney is not the same at all! Couldnt get on any of the "big" rides due to them constantly "breaking down". They no longer offer passes if the ride breaks down while in que, and I was given 1 on Rise an hour before the ride closed and they said they wont honor it the next day and they will be closing in an hour. So we wasted 45 minutes in line and they told us tough. I found on Friday that they were purposely closing and creating lines and waits to control peoples movements around the park. Star Tours had 5 minute wait and they had their people blocking and holding people back in 5 different places to move up and there was no more than 5 people in line in the actual ride que. Why not just let people all the way up? Why have 5 checkpoints that they then only let people up 1 at a time? Never seen it this dirty and ran down ever! Wait times were ALL a lie and we tracked every 1. Was shown rides at 15 minutes, got on only to see them block off standby and proceed to let on WAVES of lightning lanes for approx 10 minutes itself which pushed standby to over 40 minutes. This happened at all rides, Wait times all showed and said 15-30 minutes but when you got in line, it was actually 40-55 everytime, all lies. Disney creating fake lines and ques and people waiting for hours only to get on and it break down. Haunted mansion broke down 12 times while we were on it, space mountain music/speakers went out 10 seconds into the ride, Mickeys run away broke while we were in que for over 30 minutes, big thunder was missing all the lights and sfx during the tnt sequence, Rise got roll B footage due to Kylo breaking, Pirates was literally bumper to bumper the whole ride and kept hitting eachother which upset my toddlers of the constant bashing from impacts, Star Tours screens were fuzzy/blurry and very dim as the projector bulbs were obviously on their way out or LED panels. Nothing but issues which shows behind the scenes issues happening. Nothing worked "right", everything had issues. Paid for military salute tickets and then find out they had specials that made it cheaper than what I was offered as military which is now pushing normal costs.
I honestly don’t know if I can ever go back. My family of 3 and I used to go every year. That was our big family bonding thing for the year. Now I cant even afford it. Because of how they are not helping with disabilities much anymore, I don’t know if I could justify spending so much money when I would not be able to go on many rides. I would have no choice but to pay for genie plus or I would go on even less rides. I grew up going once a year and continued with this my entire life (and even had passes for a couple years) until a few years ago when we were priced out and they changed disability help. I used to work in the Disney Store as well. I loved Disney. I am so saddened by this. Disneyland has always been part of our lives and I feel it has just been ripped out from us by price and disability access. I don’t see an end to this.
Tier 0 and Tier 1 days are cheaper than 2019 price. The food prices are absolutely brutal, but Disney lets you bring in most outside food and drinks. (A true rarity in the theme park world. Most only allow a water bottle and MAYBE a small snack if you have kids.) Even if they didn't, much cheaper food is right across the street. There's also a 7-11 without crossing.
I wish they had never changed Splash Mountain! It was the perfect ride, now all they seem to have is problem after problem with the new version, on both coasts. I’m taking it as a sign.

Just spent a week at Disneyland for the first time in a year and a half. Splash Mountain used to be my absolute favorite, but was disappointed with the Tiana’s. Wish they would’ve done something with the voodoo man instead of just looking for a band. Also, the ride is too fast. I don’t mind getting splashed, but the boats always had like an inch or more of standing water. And on the drops there was always a tidal wave of water headed towards your shoes. Again, I don’t mind getting splashed, but I loathe getting my shoes soaked all the way through when I’m walking 8-10miles in a day. Definitely a pass for me unless my kids are wanting to go on it.
I packed flip-flops for that reason. Wet shoes cause blisters. I also had a poncho, but I didn't have to use it on Splash Mountain and Grizzly River Rapids. I've seen people wrap ponchos and even plastic bags around their shoes. It looks like you need a swimming suit for Tiana's. Lol! 😆
"It's fine". Meanwhile at Tokyo Disneyland you rarely have issues with their attractions. Guests are paying close to $200 a ticket. All attractions should be running to near perfection and not waiting months for a fix that only lasts a few days.
@WindowtotheMagic I can't understand why people go on a fabulous ride, with a million moving parts and then they make a video about one animatronic singing but not moving properly. Breaks my heart. I really look forward to these videos. Hopefully the next one will be more positive.
I down graded my AP form the top was I had for 10 years, to The So.Cal. because of the reservation system, Fastpass system changes, Disney poor treatment of the Cast. Disneyland has lost it polish. Fresh Baked has not, you work hard everyday to continue to grown and improve.

Yes, because when 2 of 68 rides at the resort are down, the park isn't worth it anymore, right? That 2.9% of the park being unavailable should get you a discount. How about a 2.9% discount? That seems fair, doesn't it?
I remember the year Indy opened - it was a huge event! I think it holds a special place in my heart because of those memories. Indy is my favorite ride to this day! I will gladly wait in line for it :)
Disneyland was completed when Indy opened and when I take over Disney, the park will be frozen in time the way it was after Indy opened. Any attraction that opened after March 3, 1995 will be closed and reverted to its previous state.
The decoding cards they handed out so you could decode all the symbols inside were the best!

We're planning a trip for the 70th. We missed you when we were there in 2021. We were also there for the 65th but we couldn't use our tickets due to Covid-19. I've been watching your videos since Covid-19. Back then, my son got a photo with you; you were on the big screen, and you're both wearing this hat. (We both named our son Tristan.) Anyway, thanks for the updates and hopefully Tristan can get a real photo with you during the 70th.
I rode Tiana's for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I loved the ride, but there were 2 animatronics not working at the time. One Lewis and the final Tiana. The problem with the animatronics just standing there, is that everything else around them has so much movement that they stick out. Especially the final Tiana. Her final song also sounded kind of soft, kind of like she was whispering. I think it is also off putting that her eyes keep moving around in a way that feels unnatural. I am still really happy I rode it.

The difference between Indy, Rise of the Resistance and Tiana with breakdowns is that the former 2 didn’t dump a classic ride, that worked fine, for something very few people wanted (more like okay with) and it’s been breaking down since day one.
Did we say the same thing about Tron or Cosmic Rewind? Did they go through "some things"? Maybe Disney should have just spent more money on this reskin instead of trying to half-ass it while knowing they were ripping apart an iconic and beloved attraction -- or they should have just kept Splash Mountain in better condition all those years leading up to it's closure.. pausing any major refurbs and not fixing dilapidated scenes for a decade really did a disservice to the attraction and has obviously left a legacy of dereliction. But if they did that, they'd have less of a reason to reskin it. The problem is that they couldn't have their cake and eat it, too.

My frustration does not necessarily come from the fact that Tiana's breaks down so much but that the ride despite being a retheme of splash mountain and not changing any ride systems or mechanisms still manages to close as often as Indiana when splash mountain was a very reliable attraction being a simple log flume. Nothing should've changed reliability wise yet the ride still evacuates around four times a day. This is the confusing lack of quality that upsets me.
43:43 the best way I could describe it is...make it like a Renaissance Faire. What I mean by that is, have random characters walking around. Have performers. Not the main characters but a random character race that is out shopping and interacts with guests. But that requires more actors and money to pay them 😅 but I really think that would add character that is currently missing. It's a market place with no people and doesn't feel lived in

FreshBaked. David, I feel much better after our walk around today. A sort of constitutional for the soul. When it comes to all the problems attractions are having you seem very calm and zen like. The new animatronic's are all electric ease of maintainance. Alarm goes off on the control main panel, maintainance heads over to the problem. Remove broken panel clip in the replacement, switch it on good to go. Tiana in the last scene has'nt worked from the neck down for over a month now. It does'nt look good when you've paid extera for Lightening Lane only to find your in another long line going no where. Cheers, Chris Perry.

The only thing better than riding the Teacups as Disneyland...is riding them at NIGHT!
The teacups are a magical place to watch a parade. During a parade, the line is typically shorter than what one rotation will hold, so you can ride over and over the whole duration of the parade. And the characters WILL see you and wave, as there’s not much else for them to look at as they pass the teacups.

Disney Magic IS that way at all times, for those who choose to see it. A lot of folks, especially those online, tend to ruin the magic for themselves by concentrating on any negative thing they can find.

Florida's Tiana's were all down in some form each time I rode last week. Just sad for a ride less than a year old to have this many problems already.
The rides aren’t less than a year old… only the themes are new. The ride mechanics and other infrastructure are decades old.
Think of it as painting an old semi-reliable car and swapping out the interior upholstery. The car doesn’t automatically run better because you changed the color.

I think part of the disconnect is you're viewing Disneyland through the lens of someone who goes to the parks constantly. For annual passholders/people who can afford to make the trip multiple times in a year, it isn't really a big deal if Tiana's has some animatronics down, or if Indiana Jones isn't open.
The problem is, especially with the current costs, many people can only afford to go to Disneyland maybe once a year, if not once every few years. This makes every busted animatronic, every unexpectedly-closed ride, more and more of a jagged edge on your vacation.

Disneyland’s Magic Key prices climb higher and higher every year. The prices are so outrageous it seems like a joke. It’s also become increasingly more challenging for Magic Keys to get reservations on the day they want to go. This tells me Disney is trying to sway people’s interest in the Magic Keys. They want guests to pay for regular tickets. They want guests that are not passholders. I’ve been getting an annual pass infrequently since 1990. In the 1990’s, I remember the park was always empty especially during the week. Lines less than 15 mins. No fast pass no lighting lane. It was a smooth enjoyable experience at the parks. It wasn’t til maybe 2008 when I started to notice the crowd levels growing astronomically. More people were getting passes. As late as 2013, my pass was $300. And parking was free. It was post 2020 when Disneyland really started making ridiculous choices like the money grab with the lightning lane. They likely lost so much money during the pandemic being closed for so long that they’re still trying to get it back.
Actually, they are more worried about increasing Iger's bonus by $10M.

The Disneyland website has it during the ticket buying process. Just fake like you're buying and then cancel out after you look at the calendar.

I like the design of the Madame Leota gift shop. It is supposed to be a carriage house and those at Louisiana plantations I have visited look very similar to this.

i don't like the tiana retheme after seeing it. and the animatronics don't work right because they are electric and there's too much humidity in there according to a former imagineer.

David, Regarding comparing Fantasyland to galaxy’s edge.Fantasyland has many more rides and the ambiance is old world Disney, while the other feels as if you have left Disneyland and entered a movie set with only two attractions, and one is constantly breaking down. Not much to do there otherwise? Just my opinion.
We got caught on Indy during a breakdown where they turned the lights on...i was flaberghasted by the lack of paint/polish and the amount of dirt and dust on the floor
@@aaronsteele7585 I got a long look at the end of the ride during a stoppage. Looking back, the floor right after the final boulder scene looked terrible, like the floor of an abandoned subway car.
But I didn't notice it while the ride was moving, so does it matter?

Dont get me wrong my family loves Disneyland! I just see alot of corners cut nowadays vs 20 years ago. Just wish we lived closer than 1k miles away so we could visit more.

Disneyland announced March 7th the Monorail and Train will be back
I have a question I’m hoping someone could answer. Was in line a few days ago for the haunted mansion and the ride closed. Front gate closed, the app said closed and the line started moving really quick. I thought we were all exiting but what happened surprised me. We ended up doing the ride in its entirety. And everything worked normally. Even the elevator room. So confused by this. And I’m a Disneyland veteran. Can someone explain what exactly I experienced there…

Smugglers is always a single rider for us. Too unpredictable. 9 times out of 10 we (wife and I) on single rider get on the same ride.
was just here from 22nd to 24th as they were the supposed LOWEST attendance times. Place was PACKED!!! and i mean PACKED!!!!! hour long waits on almost all rides all day. To add salt to the wound, every single ride we went on....broke down over 10 times. Trash was everywhere, bathrooms destroyed, food was junk. Everybody there acted the same exact way people did buying up toilet paper during covid, walking up to a line and people come in literally knocking people down just to get on a stupid ride and willing to throw hands over. We'd be standing in line and people to the left and right were constantly trying to pass us and did so multiple times until we kept calling them out and they all just rolled their eyes. Disney is not the same at all! Couldnt get on any of the "big" rides due to them constantly "breaking down". They no longer offer passes if the ride breaks down while in que, and I was given 1 on Rise an hour before the ride closed and they said they wont honor it the next day and they will be closing in an hour. So we wasted 45 minutes in line and they told us tough. I found on Friday that they were purposely closing and creating lines and waits to control peoples movements around the park. Star Tours had 5 minute wait and they had their people blocking and holding people back in 5 different places to move up and there was no more than 5 people in line in the actual ride que. Why not just let people all the way up? Why have 5 checkpoints that they then only let people up 1 at a time? Never seen it this dirty and ran down ever! Wait times were ALL a lie and we tracked every 1. Was shown rides at 15 minutes, got on only to see them block off standby and proceed to let on WAVES of lightning lanes for approx 10 minutes itself which pushed standby to over 40 minutes. This happened at all rides, Wait times all showed and said 15-30 minutes but when you got in line, it was actually 40-55 everytime, all lies. Disney creating fake lines and ques and people waiting for hours only to get on and it break down. Haunted mansion broke down 12 times while we were on it, space mountain music/speakers went out 10 seconds into the ride, Mickeys run away broke while we were in que for over 30 minutes, big thunder was missing all the lights and sfx during the tnt sequence, Rise got roll B footage due to Kylo breaking, Pirates was literally bumper to bumper the whole ride and kept hitting eachother which upset my toddlers of the constant bashing from impacts, Star Tours screens were fuzzy/blurry and very dim as the projector bulbs were obviously on their way out or LED panels. Nothing but issues which shows behind the scenes issues happening. Nothing worked "right", everything had issues. Paid for military salute tickets and then find out they had specials that made it cheaper than what I was offered as military which is now pushing normal costs.
I honestly don’t know if I can ever go back. My family of 3 and I used to go every year. That was our big family bonding thing for the year. Now I cant even afford it. Because of how they are not helping with disabilities much anymore, I don’t know if I could justify spending so much money when I would not be able to go on many rides. I would have no choice but to pay for genie plus or I would go on even less rides. I grew up going once a year and continued with this my entire life (and even had passes for a couple years) until a few years ago when we were priced out and they changed disability help. I used to work in the Disney Store as well. I loved Disney. I am so saddened by this. Disneyland has always been part of our lives and I feel it has just been ripped out from us by price and disability access. I don’t see an end to this.
Tier 0 and Tier 1 days are cheaper than 2019 price.
The food prices are absolutely brutal, but Disney lets you bring in most outside food and drinks. (A true rarity in the theme park world. Most only allow a water bottle and MAYBE a small snack if you have kids.) Even if they didn't, much cheaper food is right across the street. There's also a 7-11 without crossing.

I wish they had never changed Splash Mountain! It was the perfect ride, now all they seem to have is problem after problem with the new version, on both coasts. I’m taking it as a sign.
They didn't and were stopped from doing so. Tiana is a figment of your imagination. Splash Mountain still exists in Disneyland and I have a ride photo from it from Disneyland's centennial in 2055.
Just spent a week at Disneyland for the first time in a year and a half. Splash Mountain used to be my absolute favorite, but was disappointed with the Tiana’s. Wish they would’ve done something with the voodoo man instead of just looking for a band. Also, the ride is too fast. I don’t mind getting splashed, but the boats always had like an inch or more of standing water. And on the drops there was always a tidal wave of water headed towards your shoes. Again, I don’t mind getting splashed, but I loathe getting my shoes soaked all the way through when I’m walking 8-10miles in a day. Definitely a pass for me unless my kids are wanting to go on it.
Except Splash Mountain is still open and there is no Tiana.
I packed flip-flops for that reason. Wet shoes cause blisters. I also had a poncho, but I didn't have to use it on Splash Mountain and Grizzly River Rapids. I've seen people wrap ponchos and even plastic bags around their shoes. It looks like you need a swimming suit for Tiana's. Lol! 😆
"It's fine". Meanwhile at Tokyo Disneyland you rarely have issues with their attractions. Guests are paying close to $200 a ticket. All attractions should be running to near perfection and not waiting months for a fix that only lasts a few days.

I down graded my AP form the top was I had for 10 years, to The So.Cal. because of the reservation system, Fastpass system changes, Disney poor treatment of the Cast. Disneyland has lost it polish. Fresh Baked has not, you work hard everyday to continue to grown and improve.
Not feeling so great about our arrival to Disneyland next week. I came last January, and it was amazing. This looks.....rough.

We just went last week, it looked and felt busy, but the queues were a breeze. The longest we waited was 30 mins and that was for Rise.
