"when i was younger i was named, the generation unafraid"... Damn that line hits home if you think about it from the perspective of the soldiers in WW2. We call them the greatest generation. We often don't think of the terror and horrors they endured on a personal level. And when we do get a chance to see interviews and first hand accounts its just heartbreaking
It is sad though when your to young to even know what they went though.

"Tired soldiers in this war" is my favorite line. It resonates perfectly with both WWI and the Human-Covenant war from Halo.
You got it down if you wanted to show war at its point I mean the terror you can see at the beginning mixed with the slow music it truly is beautiful
Not realy shows war just ask a gulf war vet what they think of the highway of death they describe it as that song sadworld. War isnt romantic dude its fucked

I remember first hearing Svrcina's "Battlefield" while watching Containment on CW years ago. If you haven't see it yet, I highly binge watching it. I think this song made it's debut in episode 3 or 4 IIRC.
