    Just ordered a pair from Discount Tire, they will be here Friday. Glad to hear you like them, they are going to be my spring-fall tire. I live in MN and will never go back to an all-season over a winter-focused tire here from winter-spring.

      @The1andonlyBYack Год назад +1

      @@tominco I have, and so far am very impressed. I don't know that handling has really improved as much as they claim it will, a heavy car just won't handle that well. And they are NOT an effective snow tire if any ice or subfreezing temps are present. But, efficiency is significantly better, ride quality is good, and the noise is unmatched in my experiences. We'll see how well they wear, but so far I'm happy with my purchase.

      @@The1andonlyBYack Are you one of those "you need dedicated snows!" types, or have you rocked some CC2's, LX25's, PSAS4's through the winter just fine? I'm trying to kindof quantify your answer here on these.

    • @The1andonlyBYack
      @The1andonlyBYack Год назад +3

      @@UnobtaniumsQuickReviews I've used this exact tire in winter for two weeks and decided then and there that it wasn't going to work here in MN. It's not bad in compacted snow, but when it comes to ice or freezing temps, the compound just isn't soft enough. Also, having used dedicated snows on nearly all our vehicles and discussing the topic with tire professionals (not just salespersons), they all suggest a dedicated winter tire because of its specific, intended purpose. They are built very different which helps them perform much better in cold temps. Also, you aren't really spending much more because you get much more use out of both sets in my experience.

      @@The1andonlyBYack I understand its not a true winter, of course, but Ive used the tires I listed above to good effect. Have you tried any of them, and if so, how did they stack up vs the Hankook?

      Without a doubt these tires have a better rolling resistance than any tire out there. They are extremely quiet and handle like a dream I'm very happy with this purchase.

    I have been shopping around for Winter EV tires for my Model S as well and glad to hear the positive things about Hankook. One question, did you go with 4 of the same size? Some Model S tires are staggered with two 255/45R19 and two 285/40R19. The 285 is difficult to find so I am thinking for Winter tires I can match them all and stagger outside of winter. Cheers

      I just got these on my 22 M3 today. So far they are the worst tire I’ve ever bought. The car wiggles terribly on grooved concrete. Going on a trip tomorrow about 400 miles. Will see how that goes. If not better we are switching to Goodyear Monday. Lol

      @@ThatGrizzlyGuyI just got them today for my 3. Seem decent but not super smooth at Highway speeds. Range is good, handling seemed like a typical all season. Downgrade from the stock pirellis on the handling aspect.

      @stalliontheplumber7406 Год назад

      @@NWIbassthat's exactly what I expected to discover. No tyres are good in every aspect. Let's say you get 20 km more range, but have to sacrifice a lot of grip and precision...is it worth it? The model S is so heavy and powerful that it requires very stiff sidewalls to handle precisely. IMO people have different priorities, so it's not sure that any tyre will be the best for everyone

    I have these on my EV9 AWD and now have to decide if I need to get real winter tires. I'm living in pacific north west area. Do you think the tires can beat the occasional snow in here? I really need some advice from you as there are not so many people reviewing snow driving for these tires.

    HI, Good to hear your experience. 19'' vs 21'', Which one size you prefer? I have same car with 21'' wheels on, considering if I go 19'' may be the best driving quality? but need change to 19'' wheels .Thanks.

    • @TechnozSki

      I've tried them all and will only use 19s reason being better range and less harsh ride. Also lots of potholes here in Chicago and them large rims make tires pop :(

    Have you reached 10,000 miles yet? I have a 2022 Model 3 Performance with 235/45/R18 Michelin All Season Pilot Performance tires. They are cooked at 30,000 miles. I want to try the new Hankook iON Evo AS tires but I am afraid I will lose performance compared to the Michelins. I am curious and a bit skeptical on the 50,000 mile warranty and the overall performance of the tire. What are your updated thoughts?

    We have a model Y and have had to replace 3 of the original Hancock tyres in less than the first 30,000 kms. The first two failed by delaminating at 20,000 kms. Third one left me on the side of the motorway with a huge bulge from delaminating at 28,000 kms. Absolutely disgusted with the lack of warranty- Tesla fine print says you have to go to Hancock. They say they won’t warranty tyres that came with new vehicles. Wouldn’t use a Hancock tyre again for anything. We are in Australia- good roads, and haven’t seen this sort of poor performance before.
