I look at anything soda like poison. The mindset matters most. If you work on your mind it's just another obstacle in the way of you getting there. Carnivore will help with mental clarity and capacity in time. Making it easier to change your mindset.
I've been 6 months on carnivore and my pallette is still evolving. I don't need to salt my food as much. I can now fathom having a decaf coffee without artificial sweetener. I have a feeling that decaf will be in my rear view mirror someday. I'm realizing my dietary change is a marathon, not a sprint. It may take years before I reach my fullest potential.
Been there done that for all my life until 9 months ago when we started keto and now ketovore. I decided to go cold turkey 9 months ago..this was after never being without drinking a 12 pack per day or regular or diet soda depending on the health journey i was on. I would make an excuse for why i had to keep it around. I tried all the mios and the crystal lights however since just removing it this time was the 1st time ive been free from it at last. I do coffee and water now. And for a special treat i add wild blueberries to my water bottle. But not necessary. I hope u can kick it. I really think that was the one thing thay wouldve held me back had i kept going with drinking it. Good luck. You got this. ❤
Thanks. Yesterday I drank a zero soda, but it took me all day just sipping on it. Today I didn't desire one at all. No more sodas at home and not going through withdrawals. I have been doing low carb for many years, but always gain back the weight. I can see me settling into ketovore as something sustainable for me.

Moderation in all things. Sometimes that’s not an easy thing to do. That’s when one has to say “I’m not consuming that at all anymore.”

Good analogy. I must learn patience because it is going to take time. Thanks.

Right On 👍
Get some sparkling water for when you get a craving for it! Also add some electrolytes!
I drink electrolytes. They are definitely important. I occasionally drink sparkling water. Will take awhile to develop a taste for it.
