Oh it's in Miami !! I guess IBEW in red States specially Florida is so bad and electricians take so low Salary if u will compare their Salary with Blue states.
Do u think it's a good choice? Why didn't move?

@@abanoubmelad2919 well I’ve live in Miami since I immigrated to this country, and like it. I know in blue states they pay better but since I got my family and all my friends here, I hopefully can do the apprenticeship here(hopefully I can get accepted) and later probably move to a blue state.

Get as much experience as you can in the electrical industry - either earning field hours (ideally commercial, but it's hard to find ime) or working at that location as a stockman or other 'alternate employment opportunity' if offered. Put together an epic portfolio conveying why you're a great fit.

I got a question for anyone who can answer it: I got a section of ceiling lights and outlets that went dead a few months ago. After 2 weeks of waiting on an electrician - they all started working again. So wrote it off and moved on. 6 months later, and they're all now out again.
Asked the handiest buddy I know - and he said HE had a section of his house doing the same thing - and couldn't get an electrician to show up to check it out.
Is there something really bad about that scenario that makes electricians avoid it?
Is there a way for a fella to diagnose and fix it himself?

TELL EVERY ONE HOW TO STAY EMPLOYED DURING PHASE - INSPECTION ?
    THIS IS LAY OFF'S USUALLY
LETS GET YEARLY BASE PAY $$
100 DOLLARS PER HOUR BUT SHORT HOURS IS STARVING POVERTY $$
HOW ABOUT THE LANGUAGE OF CALL WORKERS BY NAME = JUMPING THE BOOK.

    • @MadElectrician
      @MadElectrician  5 месяцев назад +1

Lay offs can and do happen but, but a lot of that has to do with where you’re living, working, how good of a worker you are, etc.
I haven’t seen a single layoff in my 6.5 years in the trade and I work with people who have been in the trade 20-30 years and never seen a single layoff. Last year I hit $140,000 in wages alone, so I didn’t work less hours just because of my high pay.
All of that being said, people should hope for the best and plan for the worst. Follow Dave Ramsey. Have your emergency fund saved up and don’t go into debt for anything other than your house. Also make sure your mortgage is less than 25% of your take home pay.

ECONOMIC MURDER - RUINATION, AT THE HANDS OF A FORMAN !
FURTHERMORE LETS MENTION QUALIFING FOR THE MEDICAL BENIFITS.
IF YOUR SHORT JUST A FEW DAY AND GET LAYED OFF BOOM , YOU HAVE NOTHING !!!!.
