I personally don’t wear makeup but I really enjoy watching your tutorials more because they are so entertaining and relaxing to watch! And your great personally really shines through your tutorials! Loveeeee
As someone who learnt almost everything makeup from watching you I'm confident to say the technique you taught us is holding the brush on the far end to achieve a seamless blend and always making sure the brush is fluffy. ❤️❤️
You're one of the youtubers that contributed a lot in my makeup artistry journey, am a self taught makeup artist & I've been using your lip technique for 3 years now,my clients love it so much... You have taught me to hold the brush a bit higher, not to close to the eye & always use fluffy brushes to blend out Eyeshadow to perfection
The makeup is literally so perfect!! The technique you taught us for applying eyeshadow is that you hold the brush towards the end of it( away from the eye) with the brush between your middle finger, index finger and the thumb enclosed around it then gently make circular and dab motions on the lid to blend the eyeshadow.
As a regular degular this is what I’ve learnt from Mimi Step 1: let your concealer sit before applying eyeshadow Step 2 : Hold your brush towards the end and afar Thank you so much for this video, I needed it 🫦 Step 3: Tap using your brush before blending
I’m so happy your makeup tutorials have made a comeback 🥺💃🏼 I learnt so much and honestly I learned how to do my makeup from your old videos. The technique is holding the brush towards the end 🙏🏼 this allows for a more seamless blend and also some control I’m definitely stealing the smoke mini wing that’s blended out technique, it’s stunning 😩😍
Totally loved the final look!! 😍😍❤ The eyeshadow technique you taught us was to hold the eyeshadow brush towards the end and not too close to the eye so one can blend effortlessly. 🥰
As a clueless lady who wanted to learn makeup I come across your yt channel and found your tutorials helpful in my journey to learn and I've learnt a lot from you . The technique is that we have to use a fluffy round blending brush to place and blend our shadow. When blending the eyeshadow we have to hold the brush more on the outer end and lightly hold it so that we can blend the eyeshadow beautifully.😊😊❤
Also using La Girl concealor to do my brows is something I’ve been doing and I can’t let go of, especially leaving the concealer to “dry down” a little, literally loooove this technique 😍 but holding the brush towards the end is literally the only way to go with blending that eyeshadow to perfection hunny
Loved this tutorial ❤ The eyeshadow technique you taught me that I still use till this day and it’s still working wonders, is holding the brush towards the end and not too close to the eye so that you can blend the eyeshadow seamlessly and to not put a lot of product on the brush so that you can control the product
So happy that you’re back with your tutorials🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️ , the techniques you taught me to make sure that i blend my eyeshadow seamlessly is to make sure that i have clean brashes , extra brushes in hand so that i can use some brashes for extra blending without adding more products to the eye, put loose powder under your eyes that will help catch eye shadow falls outs if you do your eyeshadow after foundation , pick a transition shade thats lighter than what you’ll be putting on your outter corner, start with little product and build up ,hold the brash towards the end use tapping motion before you blend and use circular motion to blend,
Hi doll♥️ ... thank you for your 2023 makeup update, I enjoyed watching you for a whole hour and learned quite alot, thank you so much! ♥️ The technique you taught me for eyeshadow application is: 1. Prep the eyelids with a concealer and blend it but we don't set coz the eyeshadow will set it. 2. To pack the eyeshadow onto the eyelid one needs to use a blending brush and hold the brush in the middle so that you have more control over where the eyeshadow goes, and we must first tap the eyeshadow on the crease and the outer corner prior to blending. 3. To blend the eyeshadow, one needs use a fluffy brush and hold the brush towards the end, this allows you to blend softly and it also prevents you from dusting the product away, and it's important to blend the outer corners. 4. To cut the crease, your advise is to hold the brush as close as possible to achieve a precise cut. ♥️♥️♥️🤞
Omw, the wait was worth it! Really like u stepped off the makeup artist chair! So before we do the eyeshadow we want to blend down the concealer with the creased brush... then we want to set our eyelid with concealer, for the eyeshadow's going to sit. For me it was the "tapping the product on prior to blending" that is such an awesome technique! The technique to brighten the inner part with a flat brush garl! With the same brush tap the eyeshadow on that part to make it pop. Then use the little concealer fluffy brush and gentle blend with the 1st eyeshadow application. A big yes from now on. Thank u so much for this much needed makeup tutorial, I screenshot all the products, thank u so much😍🥰
Thank you fr the updated makeup tutorial❤ The technique you taught us is to always hold the brush towards the tip or end of the brush, you then dab to place the product then blend in circular motion
Way back in in 2019 i learned to do iCut crease and believe me ke sana nge lockdown i was a make up artist at home just beating everyone's faces, but today what caught my attention is after blending the cream eyeliner how you cleaned the wing with iconcealer , it gives that clean finish and looks really good. Thank you Mihlali please keep on doing more makeup tutorials i really do enjoy them.
A whole hour of make up tutorial💃🏻 2 techniques I learnt from you to apply eyeshadow is firstly hold the brush abit further down as this allows the right amount of product to enter your eyelids and minimizes harsh lines as we blend it in. It blends seamlessly. Secondly I learnt that patting it from your outer eye going in helps alot with the blend aswell and always use a fluffy brush❤ Thanks my love🌸
The eyeshadow technique you taught us is not to hold the brush too close to the eye, but towards the end so it can blend seamlessly. Also to use dab and circular motions! I'm so glad you are back with these tutorials!💃Loving the look so much!🥰🥰
Love love loved the pointers from this makeup tut, so what i learnt from your video about eyeshadow application technique that you use is that I should always start off by tapping the eyeshadow product onto my lid before I actually blend from the crease to the outer corners of the eyelid.
I appreciate the fact that you did this makeup tutorial thank you❤ Regarding the competition ...if you hold your brush on basic hold it helps with application of the eyeshadow, then moving down the handle of the brush it's going to be a little bit softer and lots of control over the brush. Then holding it at the very bottom of the brush which gives it a lot of movement and a lot less pressure which is perfect for blending your eyeshadow.Another tip is that don't hold your brush too far down and too close up because it would throw up the balance of the actual handle itself.
Hi Mihlali,I personally wasn’t a fan of make-up ,up until 3years ago when Covid started I started watching your vlogs and saw the don’t rush challenge I immediately got interested in make-up and seeing how beautiful you are I became super interested in beating my face like yours 😊I’m proud to say I am a self taught make-up artist and I graduated on RUclips . How you taught your loves to apply eyeshadow is by first priming your eyelids then blending with a fluffier brush by holding it lightly when applying product .
The technic I have learned from watching your channel through your make up tutorials for eyeshadow application is when applying a eyeshadow hold the brush at the tip of the facing outwards to blend it in crease area lightly and always use a fluffy brush.. Gorgeous gorgeous girl ke mama ❤
hun! It's giving some enhanced beauty techniques oh my!!! I enjoyed the focus on the application of eyeshadow, I have leant the following techniques : 1. Optimal brush positioning: When applying eyeshadow, hold the brush slightly further down the handle. This technique allows the right amount of product to enter your eyelids and minimizes the chances of creating harsh lines. By holding the brush lower, you have more control over the pressure and can achieve a seamless blend. 2. Patting motion for blending: To achieve a well-blended eyeshadow look, start by patting the product onto your outer eye area and gradually work your way inward. Using a patting motion instead of sweeping or dragging the brush helps the eyeshadow adhere better to the skin and ensures a more even application. This technique is particularly effective for blending multiple shades together seamlessly. 3. Embrace the fluffy brush: When it comes to blending eyeshadow, using a fluffy brush is essential. Its soft bristles allow for a more diffused application, preventing any harsh lines or patches. The fluffy brush helps to blend the colors effortlessly and gives a professional finish to your eye makeup. awww come on Madam Mihlali, this looking is giving... awww I feel you. well done. I love it. thanks
I’m so in love with this Soft glam look ❤️.Well besides holding the brush a bit further down technique to beautifully blend the eyeshadow seamlessly ,I learnt to use the blending brush to tap and shape on the crease before using the fluffy brush to blend for a neat finish.I really loved that technique .
Absolutely love you and YES YOU STILL GOT IT 🔥🔥 As a regular degular 😻 I've learnt a lot from mama. So the technique is that first we have to use a fluffy round blending brush to place and blend our shadow. Now when blending the eyeshadow we have to hold the brush more on the outer end so that we can blend the eyeshadow seamlessly rather than holding it towards the bristles because that will create harsh line and the eyeshadow won't blended perfectly ❤
Definetly holding the brush a little bit further down while patting it in from the outer part of the eye going in Your updated make-up tutorial really is perfect❤❤
Thank you for sharing your years of experience with us and summing it all up into a little over an hour - The shortened techniques for girlies on the move, I absolutely love it.The technique I enjoyed the most was using the eyebrow soap to shape your eyebrows, allowing the soap to dry, using a dark brown pencil to outline them instead of a black pencil because it is 2023 Dollie then baking them with the Yardley translucent powder because I too am an oily girl, so setting them like that is utter perfection for the perfect brow.I enjoyed that even though you are 2023 Girly you are still an OG by using LA girl concealer, leaving it on for a while before applying eye shadow and most importantly not using powder to set it but allowing the eye shadow to rather set it thus avoiding fine lines and breakage of the crease as the day goes by. I absolutely loved the video; I highly recommend it - Thanks Mihlali 🙂
I missed these so much , and the technique you shared with us which is definitely going to be used is that when doing our eyeshadow is to hold the brush a bit further down , halfway towards the end and blend softly and gently using circular blending motion to get a seamless look.
Oh my Gosh! A whole hour thank you Bestie 😅❤ so 2 techniques I learned firstly hold the brush towards the end, holding it lightly, and secondly tap the product b4 blending, after softly blend all the way around to make product blends beautifully into each other
Firstly beautiful look mimi 🤩🤩, and the handy technique your teaching is to always use a fluffy eyeshadow blush, and blend then blend and then blend some more towards the outer corners of the eyelids for a beautiful finish of course 😊
😊one you don’t let your concealer set , tap before blending your eye shadow 🤭 and you don’t hold the brush to close to avoid being hash and moving the the product . That’s the technique I learnt ❤
The technique you taught us was to hold the brush at the end and not too close to the eye to get a seamless blend. Please keep the tutorials coming, this is so nostalgic ❤😊
You taught us to tap the product on when placing it then blend out holding the brush close to the end of the brush❤😍 i still use this method works every time 🔥🔥🔥 thank you for the great content😊
Absolutely beautiful as always❤ The eyeshadow technique you taught me is to hold the brush towards the end and also not to close to the eye so that you can blend it perfectly and not put alot of product so that you are in control of the product. You are spoiling us lately❤
ABSOLUTELY LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF THIS UPDATED TUTORIAL Mimi! 😍🫶 The technique since way way is to hold the eyeshadow blend brush towards the end and then circularly blend back and forth 💯😉 Also, what an amazing give away, NEED everything in there especially the accessories🥹
Hey Mimi!💕 absolutely loved receiving this content again after so long!😍 woo, so the technique that I noticed from you since you started doing tutorials was the “flat” brush method, where you use one flat side of the brush & apply eyeshadow in the area of where the concealer is applied to get the ‘pop’ 🔥 of the colour used. Without moving around too much but making sure it lands perfectly 😍
I've beeeen watching your tutorials girl, they are the ones that made me love and follow you and one thing you've definitely thought me is to not hold the brush too hard and to not be harsh on the lid with the brush. To also tap the eyeshadow on the lid until you're satisfied with the outcome 😊❤. Blending is VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!
I don't use make up at all, but ndifunukwazi yenziwa unjani, thank you sis so very much, I will be buying products kancinci kancinci, so that I can hold that brush towards the end, to avoid iline to be harsh, xa ubbkender phaa emehlweni❤❤❤
I missed the make-up tutorials and I'm glad they are back. what I learned is that we should pack the eyeshadow before blending, focusing on the crease. a fluffy brush is best for blending the eyeshadow, and we should hold the brush towards the end
Flawless mama... the eyeshadow technique u taught us to first apply light concealer on the lid, use a fluffly eyeshadow brush for applying product... hold it towards the end titled in a titled position, dab n pack the eyeshadow in a circular motion fr a seamless finish... ❤
What a beautiful mind relaxing tutorial I just watch😍. As a self taught make-up lover, I've learned that to get a perfect eye shadow is to first hold up your fluffy brush a bit higher this allows the product to enter the eyelids and minimize the harsh lines as we bland the product in.. Thank you fav love😍.
I loved the look and I'm definitely entering the competition. To get a flawless eyeshadow eye is to use a fluffy eyeshadow blending brush, hold it towards the end move along your crease bone from inwards to outward not using too much force/power. That's on purrr❤
Bomb, soft glam look Mimi, thank you for spoiling us with an hour of this gorgeous tutorial🙏🏽 the eyeshadow technique is holding the brush towards the end, making sure the hand is not stiff for an effortlessly blend❤
Guuuuurl!!! 😍🔥🔥 So the technique I learned 😍.. go in with a blending brush, Transition color, tap product prior to blending focusing on the crease and outer corners. Fluff it out while blending. Brighten inner part of the lid with concealer 🔥 with flat brush. Place eyeshadow where concealer was placed, blend blend around the light eyeshadow effortlessly so gently honey 🔥🔥 OMG I loved this tutorial so so much. I was in school chile. Even did a Tiktok on this one 😍 ahhh loved it.
Love it lovie very educational !!❤I learn how to elevate your Smokey liner , using creamy liner and just seal it with with a relative eyeshadow. And how you use your mascara to make your lower lashes pop. How you should hold brush on the lower part of it to avoid harshness. How you use concealer to carve out the the shape you desire and clean out the mess keeping it neat and blending it out ,blending is critically important! Using different relevant colours to have a seamless eyeshadow!
This video is so detailed and i love it. I will always come back to this video everytime i want a fire up makeup on my face. Thank you so much Mihlali❤ The eyeshadow technique youve taught us is to hold the brush by the end and not close to the eye and ofcourse blend blend blend and blend in circular motion
Flawless mama... the eyeshadow technique u taught us is holding the brush at the end titled from the eye and dab eyeshadow in circular motions...blend blend blend for a seamless look with eyeshadow brush❤
When applying eyeshadow dab and go back and forth. Blend , blend ,blend and blend! Hold the brush towards the tip of the brush using it gently. Loved the video. Sold on Huda beauty , cant wait to start my makeup storytime Era😊
Loved the video ❤. The technique you taught us for the eyeshadow makeup is to hold the eyeshadow brush towards the end and not too close to the eye for a seamless blend.
Love the makeup tutorial, definitely learnt quite a few techniques😍. The technique is keep the brush towards the end of the eye and not too close to blend the product nicely and not have too much product to control the finishing look. Love you Mimi!!❤
Hey Mihlali You add won't stop can't stop concealer then you add eyeshadow then blend it out around the you add concealer again the you add another shade of concealer then blend out then add another shadow to finish.
As a self taught make up artist I definitely learnt this one from Mimi. We must hold the brush towards the end and light blend…and it’s working for me…my clients love how seamless the eyeshadow looks…
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial 😍❤️❤️!! The technique on how to have a beautifully blended eyeshadow is by holding the blending brushes at the end (or tip) rather than at the center or the front 😊.
Really enjoyed this makeup tutorial so much Mims😮💨😍 The technique you taught us is we firstly have to dab the product on our eye lids before blending and when blending to always use a fluffy brush and hold it towards the end with not too much pressure applied to get a flawless look🥺🫶🏾
Thank you mihlali for this fabulous tutorial love love every minute of it What you have always thought us is when using an eyeshadow, to hold the brush a bit higher from the eye and to always use a fluffy brush to blend out the product❤
Hey love, the makeup looks really nice and we would love to see more of these vids..The technique you have taught us is to hold the brush at the end and to apply the eyeshadow lightly while blending❤
Absolutely flawless Mimi,I definitely want to see more makeup tutorials from you.....the technique you taught us is grabbing a fluffiest brush and holding it towards the end and blend blend blend darling❤❤❤❤
Gosh I missed you! The technique that you taught us is to hold the brush lightly, further to the end in order to have control on the amount of product you are packing into your eyes. Always tap and not swipe and of course to always blend!! I love you Mihlali!!! Thank you for posting again ❤️😔🙏
Miss Mimi, you taught me to hold it in the middle when packing the eyeshadow/deepening it. And hold it at the far end when blending the harsh line on two different eyeshadows.
Thank you for the makeup tutorial, i was itching to see your new techniques. I think this makeup look is the best one yet. I love it, especially the ambre lip. I’m definitely copying this look for an upcoming event. Thank you 🙏🏽 ✨😊.
Hey Mihlali, thanks for the updated makeup tutorial really missed these from you 😍...the technique is to hold the brush a bit far from the eyelid not to press the product at the go, start going in circular motions and be very gentle with the brush when applying the eyeshadow.❤
I have learned so so much. To answer the question: 1. I've learned to first blend the cut crease slightly by fluffing technique to allow the light eyeshadow to pop. 2. Then to use the transition shadow to blend it all together once the lighter crease shadow has been applied with a fluffy brush. Thanks again, can't wait for the next tutorial 😃😍💞
I've learned a lot on your channel about makeup, and the tips you always give us dont go to waste, i use them all the time and thx 4 great content. Anyway you taught us to hold the brush towards the end, and you tap on your eyeshadow first prior to blending, you focus it on the crease and outer corners then you blend blend and more blending❤
Would definitely love to see more of these videos.. I actually learn a lot. The technique you taught us is to hold the brush right at the end and not too tight so you can keep on blending till you achieve the required results. 😊
This reminded me so much of how I started watching your tutorials sometime in 2017😊 and I can say I learnt so much from you and still learning.. Well what I've learnt is to let the concealer around you eyebrows to set first before blending, after preping your eyelids with concealer we blend but the technique towards blending is to hold the eyeshadow brush towards the end not too close so that it can blend seamlessly.. also to tap the product prior to blending and to also go in circles ❤️
I can't believe I sat a whole hour watching a make up tutorial 😂 and I enjoyed it. She's one person I've always enjoyed looking at and the way she just explains the whole process 🙌🏾👏🏾. That time I still struggle with applying eye lashes 🤣😂
Holding the brush towards the end so that the blending is seamless and your colors don't move. Also dabbing in where you want your products to sit and pop(still holding your brush towards the end). This technique is goated and that's on purr
She gave us an hour to enjoy 😭😭🎉it’s a great day to be a “love”💃🏽
Yes love I love you so much 🤩❤️❤️❤️
Like bra , I know she ate this video up 🤣 let me go eat it too 🎉
The nostalgia.. feels like I’m falling inlove with Mihlali all over again.

It's almost impossible not to love this girl. People that don't like her, who are you, how is it even possible? She is just a naturally nice person.
Beautiful, gifted with nice body, and just blessed, how people just hate others that doesn’t make sense
Twitter is a vile place full of stink and lies for absolutely no reason
Here I am I don’t like her

Thank you so much for the update Mimi. Please do more of these ❤❤
You taught us to tap the product on when placing it then blend out holding the brush close to the end of the brush❤😍 i still use this method works every time 🔥🔥🔥 thank you for the great content😊
The technique since way way is to hold the eyeshadow blend brush towards the end and then circularly blend back and forth 💯😉
Also, what an amazing give away, NEED everything in there especially the accessories🥹
I can’t believe I watched the video all the way through with my short concentration span ,Mihlali is that gworl.Period.❤️
Omg mihlali i dont even think artists do justice to you like yourself.girllll💕
This is THE best Makeup Tutorial I have seen Thus far
Really enjoyed this the tip you gave us is to hold the tip of the brush which will help the make up blend seamlessly
Bomb, soft glam look Mimi, thank you for spoiling us with an hour of this gorgeous tutorial🙏🏽 the eyeshadow technique is holding the brush towards the end, making sure the hand is not stiff for an effortlessly blend❤
Guuuuurl!!! 😍🔥🔥
So the technique I learned 😍..
go in with a blending brush, Transition color, tap product prior to blending focusing on the crease and outer corners.
Thank you so much Mihlali❤
The eyeshadow technique youve taught us is to hold the brush by the end and not close to the eye and ofcourse blend blend blend and blend in circular motion

Hey Mihlali
You add won't stop can't stop concealer then you add eyeshadow then blend it out around the you add concealer again the you add another shade of concealer then blend out then add another shadow to finish.
Really enjoyed this makeup tutorial so much Mims😮💨😍
The technique you taught us is we firstly have to dab the product on our eye lids before blending and when blending to always use a fluffy brush and hold it towards the end with not too much pressure applied to get a flawless look🥺🫶🏾
Thank you mihlali for this fabulous tutorial love love every minute of it
What you have always thought us is when using an eyeshadow, to hold the brush a bit higher from the eye and to always use a fluffy brush to blend out the product❤
Hey love, the makeup looks really nice and we would love to see more of these vids..The technique you have taught us is to hold the brush at the end and to apply the eyeshadow lightly while blending❤

Nice tutorial I enjoyed it the blending technique is to blend all the way around so gently without moving so much of the eye shadow....
Hey Mihlali, thanks for the updated makeup tutorial really missed these from you 😍...the technique is to hold the brush a bit far from the eyelid not to press the product at the go, start going in circular motions and be very gentle with the brush when applying the eyeshadow.❤
Wow, I really missed your tutorials 😍🧡 Thank you! 🎉
I have learned so so much.
To answer the question:
You ate and left no crumbs babes, thank you for this vlog ❤️😍😍😍
I've learned a lot on your channel about makeup, and the tips you always give us dont go to waste, i use them all the time and thx 4 great content. Anyway you taught us to hold the brush towards the end, and you tap on your eyeshadow first prior to blending, you focus it on the crease and outer corners then you blend blend and more blending❤
For a seamless blend you taught us to hold the eyeshadow brush towards the end. I love the makeup tutorial keep them coming xx
Would definitely love to see more of these videos.. I actually learn a lot. The technique you taught us is to hold the brush right at the end and not too tight so you can keep on blending till you achieve the required results. 😊
Yhuu, Sana! We missed you, gorgeous Nana❤🔥.
Thank you for an amazing tutorial.
The day I decide to do makeup on my face?? The girlies will be GAGGED hunny! 😍
Love the look and I LOVE that the giveaway has Black South African Woman’s products ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This reminded me so much of how I started watching your tutorials sometime in 2017😊 and I can say I learnt so much from you and still learning..
Well what I've learnt is to let the concealer around you eyebrows to set first before blending, after preping your eyelids with concealer we blend but the technique towards blending is to hold the eyeshadow brush towards the end not too close so that it can blend seamlessly.. also to tap the product prior to blending and to also go in circles
❤️
Loooove this look, 😍❤️👌
The technique you taught us for a perfect blended eyeshadow is to hold the brush close to its end. ❤️
