On the contrary, the piano is not minimal... it's really quite tricky! it just sounds straight forward. I'm a grade 8 player and still struggle to get it right. That's jazz for you!

I thought I knew her life but realized i knew nothing about her after watching this amazing net flix. It was so nice to see that the people that really cared about her came to rescue her. The daughter relationship was "strange" at best since it looks like her family deserted her,but not her friends - as it always seems to be in life. Your friends are your friends no matter what goes down.
It’s also a testament to how the mentally ill are ostracized and treated as if they can help their behavior. This poor woman was victimized in her later years due to her mental illness.

I dislike it when people get angry at you for discovering certain types of music or artists through media such as video games and videos/cartoons/whatever. Thanks to Aardman, I discovered this amazing woman, because I had this on VHS when I was about 7 and loved the music even back then, and thanks to Fallout, I discovered loads of different artists I fell in love with musically. I would never have discovered them on my own because radio stations, at least pre 2010's, only played what was in the charts, and music channels have an archive of videos they just repeat and rarely get anything new.
This used to come on the music channels when I was really young and I used to absolutely love the piano and the cats! I had no idea it was jazz back then ☺️ now I’m listening to Nina, Ella & Billie - so much talent in these amazing women ❤️

This is an incredible song. She was incredible. I haven't listened to it in a few years. Having played the piano I can see how this is deceptively complex. Keep it up. Muscle memory will kick in, if it hasn't by now. And as far as the Dutch Street Organ comment, I think the point is actually playing the song rather than walking around with a box that plays it, beautiful as the song is to hear.

Buy a street organ so you don’t have to play it it will play itself search it up a DUTCH STREET ORGAN
