For whom cares.... Please watch the documentary What Happened, Miss Simone??? It's a collection of Nina Simone's life and most of her human right activism. It brings a lot of her most notable songs and interviews from 60's to 80's. It's a nude portrait of a diva who ups and downs are almost so intense than your songs.

+Victor Emmanuell Fernandes Apolônio dos Santos saw several months ago. At age 72 i knew and followed her from the beginning. I thought I knew her life but realized i knew nothing about her after watching this amazing net flix. It was so nice to see that the people that really cared about her came to rescue her. The daughter relationship was "strange" at best since it looks like her family deserted her,but not her friends - as it always seems to be in life. Your friends are your friends no matter what goes down.

I dislike it when people get angry at you for discovering certain types of music or artists through media such as video games and videos/cartoons/whatever. Thanks to Aardman, I discovered this amazing woman, because I had this on VHS when I was about 7 and loved the music even back then, and thanks to Fallout, I discovered loads of different artists I fell in love with musically.
I would never have discovered them on my own because radio stations, at least pre 2010's, only played what was in the charts, and music channels have an archive of videos they just repeat and rarely get anything new.

I am learning to play the piano part. It is a lot harder than it sounds... but I'll get there, I think. Then all I'll have to do is convince my wife to sing, and we'll have a cute party piece that everybody knows.

@@myknowledgespiral Thanks for asking, folks. Yeah! Dunnit, and it sounds okay. I am pretty pleased. But I have to run through it a couple of times every day. The middle solo is tricky, and the "muscle-memory" needs to be refreshed at regular intervals.

Buy a street organ so you don’t have to play it it will play itself search it up a DUTCH STREET ORGAN

This is an incredible song. She was incredible. I haven't listened to it in a few years. Having played the piano I can see how this is deceptively complex. Keep it up. Muscle memory will kick in, if it hasn't by now. And as far as the Dutch Street Organ comment, I think the point is actually playing the song rather than walking around with a box that plays it, beautiful as the song is to hear.

One of the greatest songs of all! I had forgotten about the video. I'm thinking this must be from when Nina Simone's songs was re-released in the UK charts in the 80s, as there were a few breakthrough animated videos like this at the time. Such a great video too 🎼❤👏🏾
