Wow -- I counted at least half a dozen of the small things like using picture frame hangers and the like that I can put in practice this weekend. So glad I randomly found your channel!
+Rich Marceau
Awesome, thanks for watching man!
I really like the dowel spring clamp hanger - great job on the tool holders! I think if it can make me more organized, it'll work for anyone :)
John Heisz Thanks John, I don't think there is a much better way of organizing your everyday shop tools! I think all shops big and small need a tool wall similar to this.
Nice!
Great job! It's really beautiful to see tools laid out like that for easy access and organization.
Robert Mazzitelli I agree!
Matt, you did a fantastic job on your version of the John Heisz tool wall. In particular, I really like how you did the small profile wood block supports with the lip edges, and the pens & pencil holders. Both you and John Heisz are a great asset to the online woodworking community. Cheers from Canada.
+MacTech007
Hey, thanks man! The pen and pencil holder is really handy!!
Very well thought out! Looks like it will be handy to have your tools at easy reach. Thank you for the video.
Jb B Thank you!
Great use of space. Mr. John Heisz has some cool ideas.
+Mike Belik Thanks, he sure does!
I enjoyed this show very much. Thanks for sharing. I am a fan of slot walls and I am looking forward to making one with your ideas. Good Luck Adrian
Matt , I have watched way too many videos for tool storage BUT your video is the one I'm going with ! keep up the great videos and I'm a new subscriber.
You're a good guy Matt. It definitely comes across in your videos. You are a hard worker. People like that. Your channel is going to do well. Already subscribed!
+bbtjd001
Thank you very much, comments like this make it all worth it!!
When my friend and I decided to build a small boat in my basement I decided to make a shadow board for my tools. Simple, just paint the plywood white , trace the tool and paint the "shadow" black. The shadow allowed us to find the missing tools and put them in place and also my friend did not have to figure out which tool went where without the shadow picture.
Great tool storage Matt, it's given me the inspiration to get one built!
Hi from the UK, John.
+J Luc
Awesome, thanks John!
Means a lot when u put time into fitting every single tool in its place other words being creative with ur project luv it
+Paul Herndon

+Mark Turner

Good organization, good ideas, good video and great music.

+Alvaro Colorado
Thank you!
Beautiful Shop !
+chopers49 Thank you!
great work buddy looking forward for some videos
Nothing beats an organized shop - and you've put yourself at the front of the class with that setup. Nice job! My Dad always said a clean shop is a slow shop, but a disorganized shop is one destined to run behind schedule. That wall will ensure no lost time looking for tools. And I admire your use of scrap to make it all happen. Thanks for the follow-up, I've been looking forward to this video! And thanks as well to John for putting this idea out there for all of us to take advantage of.. :-)
cuskit Thanks Mike, your right about the organization, plus it helps prevent the "now where did I put that?" I try and use scraps whenever possible :).
Great tool holder unit well made and well demonstrated I'll be using the same design
+David Thompson
Awesome, thanks man!

Really nice video. I like the combination of quick video cuts of the building process combined with your narrative cuts explaining your process. Just stumbled upon your channel from RUclips recommendations and glad I did. Keep up the great work!

Some great ideas. Thanks. I like your power tools cubbys but whereas you a 6 feet plus, I'm only 5 feet plus so I can't put things too high.
Nice organization. Looks like you use your drill press a lot. I just made a table for mine with a fence. Plenty of different ideas out there for it and I bet it would really come in handy for ya. Just a thought.
+Matt Reynolds Thanks man, yeah a drill press table is definitely on my to do list!

Moy perez woodshop Thanks Moy!
Nice work. Gives me a lot of good ideas. Thanks! -- Sidenote/question ... is it me or possibly just the video, or are you spinning those forstner bits at really high speed in the drill press?
+Theball Player
I was going too fast at one point because I forgot to adjust the speed, but the video is also sped up quite a bit!
I think I want a one of those when I get older
congratulations
The music is epic.

Are the tool holders attached to the board permanently or are they movable. Sorry if you said and I missed it.
Richard Wisner They are attached to the slats which are movable. It comes in handy as I had to shuffle things around a couple of times while loading up the board.
niece job.....from Argentina
excelente Matt....gracias..
+alex enrique inzunza rosas
Muchas gracias
i just want to know one thing... why use glue if it's still going to be screwed together ?
Good job! Nice music! Greetings from Ukraine!
Oh yeah, it sounds like if Interpol had written the second disc of the Nine Inch Nails' "...And All That Could Have Been". I dig it.
very nice. great job. I like to have the same.
+dla nod
Thank you!
Excellent!!
Look great, It's so much easier to get stuff done in a organized shop... What happened to your Bandsaw?
Tomy Hovington The belt started coming apart on it, not sure if the belt is just old or if the pulleys have become misaligned.
How are the backs of the tool holders designed so they go into the slats?
excelente Matt!!!
Thanks!
Thank you for the video! Great system. (Have you seen Stardust?)
nice job.
