Hey welcome to the Chosen family, Im new to your channel! Ive loved the Chosen since the beginning. There will be 7 seasons. Season 4 finishing up His teaching ,Season 5 is the passion, season 6 the crucifixion, season 7 resurrection
In theaters combined episodes for two weeks each, Feb 1st episodes 1-3, Feb 15th episodes 4-6, Feb 29th episodes 7-8. After theater run comes to The Chosen app and other platforms.
There will be 7 seasons of The Chosen. Season 5 will be the Holy Week. Season 6 will be the crucifixion season. Season 7 will most likely be the resurrection season & after math until his ascension
Yeah season 4 will likely finish with Lazarus being raised back to life by Jesus and maybe even Palm Sunday and the triumphal entry or the beginnings of that. Season 5 will finish I imagine with the garden of Gethsemane and Jesus arrest. Season 6 will I think focus on the various trials, before the night trial by a portion of the Sanhedrin, the trial before Pilate, then Herod, the Pilate again. Finishing with the Crucifixion itself, with the two robbers and ultimately Jesus being put in the tomb and possibly finish with the beginnings of the Resurrection. Season 7 will be from the Resurrection proper to the Ascension and maybe a little of the early church. At least that's the way I've figured it given what they've revealed of what the seasons covered. There's actually a lot that happens within Holy Week, the time of the trials and the Crucifixion as well as after the resurrection. They're not going to have any problem doing full seasons on those time frames. Especially when they'll also be spending time on how those surrounding Jesus, the Disciples, the Jewish Religious leaders and the Romans are reacting to all these things. I can't wait! Though I know I'll have to.
@@Loulizabeth I already imagine they’ll use a crane and put wires on Jonothan Roumie and lift him up high into the sky 😳 😂 or 🤔 at least they should. That’s my guess on how they’ll make that scene. Hopefully they’ll show Jesus being sent to Hell. Overcoming death. Then preaching to the dead in paradise and then resurrecting. He doesn’t go to heaven until after his resurrection
Season 4 will be relased in theaters beginning Feb. 1st. The theatrical rollout of The Chosen: Season 4 begins Feb. 1, 2024, with a two-week run of episodes 1-3, followed Feb. 15 by episodes 4-6 and Feb. 29 by episodes 7-8.3
It's been confirmed that there are going to be 7 seasons altogether, so time's going to slow down in the series. The tomb we see is that of Lazarus. Season 4 will end with them heading for Jerusalem/getting to Jerusalem (presumably for the last time). Season 5 will be "Holy Week", which is basically the Passover week Jesus spent in Jerusalem before he was crucified. A lot of storytelling happens in this week in the bible. Season 6 is supposed to cover his arrest and crucifixion (maybe his resurrection as well, I'm not sure) . Then finally Season 7 will delve into his ascension and potentially the apostles future.
Key things to remember about season 3 are because they'll be continued in season 4 1. John the Baptist is still in prison. At some point, King Herod needs to be put in a compromising position where John the Baptist will be killed. 2. Judas still looks like a good guy. I actually liked you this right now 3. We were introduced to Lazarus in season 3 at some point he needs to be dead and in the grave for 4 days before Jesus calls for his resurrection 4. Simon is still called Simon and not Peter 5. We learned that Gaius the centurion had a young servant who was very sick and close to death These are just a few things that need to be answered. Season four, before we get to the crucifixion season of season 6. As already mentioned by knowledgeable commenters of this video, season 4 is like the final week of his teaching. Season 5 is gonna be all about holy week. Season 6 is gonna be the crucifixion season. And then season 7 will be the resurrection. It will all work.
The crucifixion will take place in season 6 I’ve heard and then the seventh and final season will be based on the book of acts which is the apostles’ experiences after Jesus ascends to heaven. Season 4 highlights include the beheading of John the Baptist and the resurrection of Lazarus. I’m not sure what season 5 will exactly hold but I love the Chosen is giving us ample time to marvel and savor these stories before rushing the crucifixion. Jesus didn’t have a long ministry but it was filled with nothing but wonders and miracles and as the Bible says the world itself could not hold all the pages of acts Jesus did while he was here. So there is still so much rich content yet before the crucifixion!
This is the last year of Jesus ministry. John, the Baptist will be put to death. The tomb is for Lazarus, who will be resurrected because he was a good friend of Jesus. Then we're going to holy week where he goes to Jerusalem and overturns the tables and argues with the pharisees. This is the set up for holy week, which will be season 5. So that will be the trial and condemnation of Jesus. Season 6 will be the crucifixion. And all of that. The first 3 episodes will be in theaters together. Then the next 3 episodes will be in theaters 2 weeks later. Then the last 2 episodes will be in theaters 2 weeks after that. Then they will all released on the app as usual. We do the theaters every year because we want to reach as many people as possible. Because the entire point of the show is to preach about Jesus to a billion people. So we have to tell them about Jesus first. In the entire culture around this show and the fans all encourage everyone to read their bibles.
This upcoming season I think is going to cover the year to a year and a half of time before Jesus was arrested and crucified. Biblically, Jesus's ministry was about 3 years, and I think the first 3 seasons cover about 1 and 1/2 years. I think the theater release plan is to release 2 or so episodes at a time, every week or two. I saw the season 3 finale in the theater and it was definitely worth it with that walking on water scene! Very savvy I think for the show and theaters, with so many just waiting to watch things at home 🙂.

It’s not Jesus’ tomb it’s Lazarus’ tomb. Clips in the trailer are not in order or context.
