Afaik the wire is s memory wire, it will return to original form (a lil bit straightened) when exposed to heat Inside ur mouth is warm enough to trigger this thus the wire got straightened abit and pull ur teeth
i have treated thousand of patients for over 17 years, i have never need to tighten any of wire. and the finishing case are very very nice, no pain at all. no need to tighten just let the wire work themselves.
Hi! I got a new wire today (I am very early in in my braces treatment); they put a black wire on my upper teeth where I have ceramic braces. I'm just wondering if there is a technical reason why this wire is a different color than the usual silver colored ones, since I would want my braces to be less visible??? Thank you for informing us all!
The black wire could have different properties, such as a different surface texture or coating, that provide specific benefits during treatment. Orthodontists may use different types of wires for different stages of treatment or to achieve specific tooth movements more effectively.
It is common to have your wire replaced with a stronger wire during your adjustment. This is because a wire can loose strength over time and your teeth will need to readjust to the new one. There should be noticeably less pressure than when you first received your brace. This is my 4th visit to the orthodontics and the wire they use in this visit seems to be less tighter than the one before is that normal or do I need to let them know from my understanding they have to tighten your teeth more every time you go for your appointments.
It could be because you are more accustomed to the pressure of the wire. Also, you will not always have your wire tightened at every appointment. Nothing to worry about, but you can always talk to your orthodontist about it at your next appointment.
Surely they would need less strong wires throughout the treatment as the teeth move into place there is no need to use as strong of a wire? Im no expert it's just a guess
It's been 6mnths Im using braces this month they changed the wire 2days back and I felt like oneof my tooth crosely moving is it common for adjusting teeth becz doctor knows better than us right

Doc, I'm confuse with my braces because,at first my tooth have no spacing on the lower part.but all of a sudden my orthodontist told me that it was normal.
It is normal because that is the first phase the 'initial alignment' once the initial alignment phase is done your treatment will proceed to correcting bite or closing the gaps.
It is possible that you received braces that are designed to be less noticeable such as Iconix braces, and the color that you are referring to on your incisor is a spacer which is used in a different way than colored ties. If you a sure you are suppose to receive colored ties, it best to talk to your orthodontist for further clarification.
@@OrthodonticExperts I have a question so I got my braces 2 days ago and theyve said that my type of braces only need to be checked yearly and not monthly

Cuz ur tooth r moving
How r u expecting no pain
That’s usually tightness or pressure you’re feeling from teeth getting pulled together. It usually goes away after a few days though.

what’s the best pain relief for the upcoming days after braces tightening?
An over the counter pain reliever such as Tylenol is a good choice, you can also enjoy cold foods such as ice cream to lower the pressure of the wire.
