- Son Mai, a motorcycle builder specializing in choppers, Japanese V-twins, and American V-twins, shares his inspiring journey of immigrating to the U.S. from Vietnam. Through his RUclips channel, he showcases his builds and explores motorcycle culture, reflecting his passion and craftsmanship. Son's accomplishments as an immigrant, father, and husband are a testament to his relentless work ethic. Two pieces of wisdom from Son stand out: “As long as you're not lazy in the U.S., you won’t ever go hungry,” and the importance of a supportive partner, which serves as a motivating force for anyone striving to chase their dreams.

Son is a legit guy. Been watching his channel for a while.
His son wasn’t even in the video lol
That’s why I love LNSPLBLVD if you like bikes you like bikes. Don’t have to be a purest about a certain brands and he creates awesome bikes of all kinds
Literally last few builds have looked almost identical. He has a style for sure but I wouldn't say he's well rounded. He's still new to doing this shit. Indian Larry would shit all over him... He's got my respect but as an amateur not a pro. He's not building his own frames from scratch yet like Larry...
Been following this guy for YEARS. Glad to see him getting much deserved recognition!
Good to see more asian representation in the chopper scene. Its something else when you see familiar faces in this scene, like "woah, how do i get into this?".
I love how Nathaniel sets the space for the guest to authentically be themselves. 2 true Americans doing what the love 💯
Been wrenching on bikes for a long time then dipped my toes in to the chopper scene 14 years ago cutting my first frame in half on a Yamaha xs650 to hardtail it. Have moved on to harleys which is probably the natural progression. I came across Son's videos and just let me say this. He is right up there with builders I've watched over the years from Jesse James to Indian Larry. I don't say that lightly. Just watch his LNSPLTBLVD channel. He does it right. No wonky ass rear fenders that don't match the tire radius. He is a true craftsman. In the military I learned the importance of attention to detail and Son takes that to heart as shown by his garage and builds. Thanks for showcasing him. Cheers!
dyna's make sense they are the new shovel, its really cool watching your building skillz progress and going full time really motivating 💪
I've been asking prism dude to interview this guy for years. Thank you for doing it for us.
Sons videos got me through lock down. After that I buy any shirt he comes out with. The gloves are awesome too.
One of my favorite channels to follow. Rock on Son!🤙🏼🤙🏼
yesterday was the best ride of my life.
i was riding out in traffic in LA as you can always imagine how bad it is late splitting on the car pool lane when suddenly a cop in a bike went around me to wave me to follow while he beeped his way through and cars splitting like the RED SEA... passing everyone stuck in traffic as they look like a sheep.
Been following Son forever. He is a genuine/great dude. Their whole crew is chill as well.
Keep shining young man … love mindset & vision ! Please teach this next generation cos I missed my opportunity .. sorry .. sorry but man god knows they need you !, big love from ole biker !,

Imagine being a young rooster and having this Legend as your Father👌
Living legend 🙏
Thats the right word
Reflect on your journey
Son is one of the most real people we have the pleasure to call friend. No on screen /off screen difference. Just a genuine real person. Can’t say enough good things about him. We’re stoked for what the future has for him. Thank you for doing this video.
dude speaking straight facts 💯
Your the reason i got into riding brother i got my first 97 vlx 600 and chopped it up a few years back now am on a king thank you brother for doing what you do bro
my first bike I ever modified was a honda shadow 600 because of Lnsplt. Can't wait for the Kick It Fridays to come back
❤ god bless you man
Seems like a cool guy. I like he’s into everything
Son is so inspiring. Absolutely love the way he approaches things and his willingness to learn
Sons garage looks tidy and its make me felt nostalgic about couple of years working at cramped and full, but tidy Emergency Department work place..
Not sure how early I came to ya'll but I feel like it was close. Been so great watching the growth of the brand. The back stories are great. Makes us all feel good about following, buying when we can, and pulling for ya. As I've said a few times, you're very lucky to habe a small group of like minded friends. Most of us can't find that. Hard work and more hard work is where it's at. If you work hard... the world is yours and you have personal satisfaction. I been doing what I do 33 years now... but been on my own -alone- since 2007. Really hard to get going...hard to survive the lows and the crazy hits out of the blue... but hard work and staying with it (and lots of prayers!) Leads to all good things. Respect. 👊
Another great video! I’m over here laughing along and I barely know anything about motorcycles. These foos are so relatable. Keepin’ it real comp!
& those last few seconds are so sweet ❤
Another great episode Nathaniel, and inserting a bit more of yourself into the video works really well.
Been following this guy almost form the beginning. What a cool human. Inspirational. Thank you for this video.

Great vid to start the day 👍
The best man
Very cool story bro! Great work!
great, love it 👍
Man i love this guy! Does anyone know what helmet he is wearing?
The brand is called TT&co from Japan
Nice bike, garage and family! I have 2 girls myself. Love how organized and the use of space, have 3 bikes in a one car. But it’s an overpriced apartment. Watched the interview with the machinist garage after this, gotta go see what else I can find here? Not on any social media
Success isn't about money, it's about lane splitting... and living to tell about it.
Where’s that flame helmet from? I love it!
8:37 who makes that sticker? That's really beautiful man
Can I get a hell yeah, brother?
Hell yeah you can, brother!!
The title to this video is bs. I agree time is important but money is just as equally important and you don’t look broke my dude.
Anderson Susan Garcia Scott Perez Edward
He's got Grab helmets haha :)
Perez Amy Rodriguez Eric Williams Jessica
Smith Christopher Thomas Michael Wilson Melissa
His positive attitude is good, but I don't like his perspective on bikes. It's just a business, to him. It isn't inspirational. What he finds important is money and his family. He doesn't ride (says he doesn't ride much because having kids makes him too important, and what he really means is he just doesn't ride - the short open pipes say it all).
Dude lying and talking out is ass.
Son knows his sht
Great taste in bikes & such a skilled builder 🤌 wishing him the best in his pursuits
