  • World champion boxer Saúl “Canelo” Alvarez shares his initial approach to parenting: wanting to give his first-born daughter everything that he didn’t have when he was a child. He talks of his realization that this approach was a mistake, saying “life is not like this.” Canelo also talks of parenting all three of his children - which includes the daughter and two boys - and the challenges that come with sharing custody with their mothers and his demanding schedule as a professional boxer.
    #CaneloAlvarez #Parenting #Boxer

    How many 16 years old wouldve not taken responsibility and have the child aborted?
    Canelo has been aware of the hardships of life and grew strong in response. It is no secret he has managed to become a pro at just 15 and become the best fighter today.
    These experiences in his life all were tests of his character and it is no surprise that he is who is today.
    Nothing but respect for people like him

      I would respect him more if the structure was better. It’s sad that it’s rare to see athletes stay in a long term marriage. I had my daughter at 18. I was out of high school a year early I was working and saving for college and then I fell head over heels in love. I studied while pregnant and continued to work while trying to provide a home for my daughter. I struggled and had several difficulties but my goal was to work on the future for my daughter. If you want it to work then you can have invest it. I hope he doesn’t become those men who have kids scattered around.

      Also as stated if they were rich they'd still have their physical assets whether land holdings or other property plus their liquidity in banks so unless your telling me they owned nothing and had 0 liquidity in bank and 100% leveraged in one investment that went bankrupt then no your parents weren't rich dude so your lying/exaggerating to have a more liked comment.

    Canelo is right.... Teach your children how to be independent that nothing is this world is free that they have to work hard for it in order to achive what they wanted to achieve in their life. My father grew up spoiled by his parents giving everything he wants and grew up and lost it all. He had a hard time adjusting his lifestyle today unlike my mother who is strong because of all the hardship she experienced in life. So even if you love your kids so much don't give them everything but teach them how to leave the right way. Just like Manny Pacquiao is doing to his kids. Just like Canelo he was born in a very poor family. But that thing didn't make him weak but made him more stronger and achieved what he has today.

    Solía ser un detractor del Canelo hace mucho tiempo. Y aunque es claro que Televisa lo encumbró, también es claro que ha sabido rascarse con sus propias uñas, y hoy en día se ve su gran calidad y disciplina como peleador.
    Y aunque me caga su actitud arrogante algunas veces, viendo esto no se puede negar que es un hombre que sabe de dificultades, lo que es sacrificarse por su familia y dar lo mejor para ellos. Se respeta a cualquiera que viene desde abajo con el sudor de su frente.

    • @erickorrantia5755

      Arrogante por que? Por decir que es el número uno en la actualidad? Eso no es ser arrogante, es reconocerse sus logros.

    • @mauricio1981
      @mauricio1981 3 года назад +1

      @@erickorrantia5755 Nunca me referí a su carrera, pero puedo extender mi argumento con la misma base: al igual que con la humildad, la grandeza es algo que no se puede predicar de uno mismo. En el momento en el que dices que eres humilde -por ejemplo-, automáticamente dejas de serlo. Tú saca tus cuentas.

    You can't spoil your kids. You're doing them no favors spoiling them. They'll be little tyrannical assholes. As a parent that's a hard lesson to face. The love you have for them makes you want to give them everything then you see them becoming little entitled assholes so you have to change and start being hard on them taking things away saying no. And you do it out of love but it's hard. Human nature is selfish. Spoiling your kids is actually selfish.

  • @E.Carrillo

    Very wise and astute observation. Many parents do just that - maybe not with money, but with other things. While wanting to give your kids everything is a natural parental desire, it doesn’t teach character.
