USB-C to 3.5mm DAC adapter will drain your device's battery faster.. your device will attempt to charge the plugged USB.. you'll notice it'll get warm while using it..
Same things happen on my phone, not just warm, but it's hot. But what if without DAC. As long as your phone has a DAC system, I think if we use an adapter without a DAC, it will be okay.
I have crappy ones from the dollar store. My device is not trying to charge it. The pins for the USB data and power connections shouldn't even be soldered onto the board. If they are they shouldn't be connected to anything since the adapter only needs the audio pins. Also, you can turn off device charging on your phone so nothing gets charged through your USB, that way you can use a USB C to USB C cable for devices that have PD so you charge your phone
@@lacukamamo Your phone will not and does not have a DAC built in, and if it had one it would take more space than just a regular jack. If it did, it would be separate from the USB c connector. No, it would not be okay to use a regular cable without a DAC. A regular cable connects to the USB 5v and data lines while the DAC unit is a USB to audio adaptor. With just a USB c cable with no DAC you're connecting USB directly to your headphones or speakers and you can't get audio that way.
@@darrylkinslow5613 If the cellphone does not have a DAC sistem in it, it will not be able to produce sound on the headset or amplifier via 3.5mm jack. Because the data on the cellphone is in digital form and the headset or amplifier needs analog frequencies, they must receive analog frequencies and process them to produce sound.
I didn't know that usb can give you Analog signal, this information is very useful to me, because i was trying to stream audio from playstation to pc via usb thinking that it will be a digital stream. Is SPDIF also analog?
Something I know from years of modding usb cables and audio cables is that black is always ground. The mic would still work properly using the green as ground, but the speakers would be getting grounded through the mic's positive connection.
Thanks, I was wondering why I was having voltage at all but 1 wire, which seemed to be tied to the foil wire I thought was always for strengthening the cable. Had green, black, red, white. 1 second, need to reference your comment
@@SSDD34687 The black wire is ground, it goes to the negative terminal of each speaker. The other wires are the positive terminals for your speakers and they go to the positive terminals of the speakers, so you are supposed to do both, which would leave you with a fourth wire not connected to anything, which is the mic positive which is usually green. Red is usually right and white is usually left, but black is always ground and is needed for all 3.
yes mujhe bhi ye hi jan'na hai , but type c data cable ki wiring hi different hoti hai and type c to 3.5 mm ki wiring alag hoti hai , i think type c charging cable me 3.5 mm nhi work karega

I couldn't agree more on that one. Stores are selling ear phones as either Droid, ios compatible. You get home and find its not type c and only works on cheap Droid. No s models. Stupid.

Will you please draw the circuit diagram of type c female to aux 3.5 TRS male .. kindly make a vedio and tag me..
Bro but OMTP is old standard, they still using it?? Cause all earphones in today's date are on CTIA standard btw thanks for the help nice video 👍
Ctia are the ones that go in nostrils yes 🤔
About time a video showed the schematics of this adapter.

Is SPDIF also analog?
🤔 what ? Possibly a variable resistor with optical adjustment sensor could cause analog, friend told me 😊
This also works for USB A, or this will be different?
Yes 😉
Is it possible to make trs audio and charging cable using usb type c?
If anyone knew what trs audio was, they'd probably have an answer 👌

If I'm not using a mic connection, do I run black to right side speaker and green to left or split the black between 🤔

Can it be used as an alternative to the DJI Adapter?
Sure, wth! Let's make it a thing 🤩
good, did you make example please : Trrs 3,5 to 2 TS 6.5 ?
Thanks for the support sir
We try sir

Bro, CTIA board? What chip is inside in CTIA port?

Stop that multi lingual crap 🤣 you're confusing the Google translator, I agree with everything you said 😉
@creativeideas2637 is you think the same as a definite maybe 🤔
@creativeideas2637 are you a girl knowing this stuff you think is most probable 🤔 I didn't know this style of lady was a thing. Hmu. ❤
that's how simple it is? no chip to convert from analog to digital?
No man there is a chip the wires are soldered on to a micro board with chips

You are my life saver.
Thank you my old friend!
How you know he's old by fingernails 🤔
falta el diagrama de los pines del plug tipo c, especificamente los pines usados
Want to take shot from USB c - wire ...any idea ?
Buy a bigger shot glass 😉
bro i have GND d+ d- Vbus in type c... hot to connect to 3.5mm?
You have no Vbus 🤣
It will be a active connection. It means some circuit will be inside
Circuit city indeed
Bhai its work on laptop.?
nahi bro its only for mobile laptop k liye apko usb type c dac connector lena pary ga
What he said 👍
USB Mel too 3.5 Jack banav na sir mere pic me 3.5 audio Jack kharab hey audio output nahi hotahey
What? Can't you see English is the predominant language in this thread. 🤔

With a jewlers loop, fly hands and a microscopic splicer, absolutely not 🤪
Jadi di usb type c, pin apa saja yang dipakai?
But is it compatible with Samsung's latest phones? Now that's the question.
That would be a question for almost everyone on the planet but me 😖
