  • An episode of the '70s cartoon series Super Chicken,
with his ever faithful companion, Fred, battling the forces of evil using a frequent flyer card. This time they match wits with a very John Wayne sounding "Wild Ralph Hiccup" the notorious Plane Robber.
Sorry for the poor quality. This clip was taken straight from a VHS tape recorded one Saturday morning in 1987 and kept on a dusty shelf till now. This was shown as part of the "Dick Williams Magicland" show on Memphis television station WMC-TV5.

When Fred calls Super Chicken "Cassius", he is referring to Cassius Clay, who was better known as Muhammad Ali. I think that he was in jail for refusing to be drafted into going to Vìetnam when this cartoon came out, and wouldn't get to fight again until 1970.

They were completely twisted these cartoons. I remember the one about literal money laundry episode. Super Chicken ended up flying home full of laundry soap.
