Dimash did two concerts in 2017. Bastau and GAKKU. He sang a mix - Confessa/Diva Dance in the 2017 Chinese The Singer competition but he was having issues with his vocal cords which, along with a couple of iffy song choices, caused him to only finish second. However, you should react to his Bastau Concert Diva Dance. This is the song the Diva “Alien” sings in the Bruce Willis Sci-FI movie The Fifth Element. The hardest parts of the song in the movie had to be created by a computer as they could not find a WOMAN who could do it. DIMASH can DO IT! Prior to this event, his highest recorded note was G#7 on the whistle register, on par with Mariah Carey. At the GAKKU Festival, he surpassed himself by hitting D8 while singing "Unforgettable Day" which he wrote. Fell in love 1st time. I'm 62 I have 4 children and 9 grandchildren and I have his pictures all over my office, phone and face book..He is not just an awesome singer, but human being as well. The more you get to know him the more you'll understand.He is bringing the WORLD together with his music. He sings in 12 different languages and speaks 4. His English is getting better and better. He has many songs in English now. I have all of his albums...I think. He preformed live in NY on Dec 10, 2019. You must see the whole concert, it was magnificent. He had trouble with his ear set so he had to listen to his voice by way of the speakers in front of him, but like the true professional he is he kept right on going. He likes to include his audiences in his concerts so we sang with him ...a lot. He says his 'dears' (fans) help him remember the words since he sings in so many languages...He is humble and grateful for his fans...Watch the chopped up versions of Dimash's performances on "The world's Best"...and how he gave up a million dollars to let children move ahead in the contest. His fans tripled their love, admiration and respect for him...

There is a vid of him meeting with the shows producers before the show, Dimash was saying he wanted Movie style opening, he wanted fire, he was going to introduce some traditional Folky touches but he kept the Rap secret..
