Dimash is long done with voice competitions; he had been on a very active Asia and Europe tour called « Arnau », before the virus stopped him. He gave a sold out (18,000 people) concert in NY city last December. Dimash has an album called iD, and more songs on ITunes and the other sites. He has a good number of music videos also, including this song you just listened to in a different video, where Dimash not only sings with himself, but also plays the piano and the drums. It is simply called « Screaming ». You also mentioned the lyrics of the rap portion; Dimash is incredibly respectful of his elders and very patriotic; you will see him hug his father’s neck, his parents and family go to everyone of his concerts, and he even sings with them. It is worth watching the music video "Screaming" for this same song. As he did his own backing vocals you have the treat of hearing him in more than one version of himself at the same time! And "Across Endless Dimensions" is great too.

In a similar way, there is a very detailed reactor/vocal coach who has, for several of Dimash's performances overlaid up to 4 examples (sound-wise)and has all the videos playing to compare. I was dubious before hearing the first one, but it sounded so good. Dimash is always spot on with his timing so they fit together perfectly and you get all the ways he alters a song layered in one performance. The vocal coach does stop the video frequently though, and is very detailed in his analysis.
I have Subscribed since you seem to be doing more than just a few DIMASH performances. Screaming is an original song that he normally ends his concerts with. He is rapping in RUSSIAN. Wish I knew all those languages but the sound, emotion, and him drawing us into his soul of music is enough for anyone. He writes a lot of songs and has produced a video QUIRAN ELIM with his friend and maybe his producer (not sure) but is with him everywhere. DIMASH is so humble and does GOOD works for children & the elderly and does not want recognition for it. Of course someones tells it but he does not put up with newspapers auditions and has a few interviews he has done but always his choice. Keep up this journey with DIMASH. ACROSS ENDLESS DIMENSIONS director & producer HAVE BEEN INTERVIEWED on You Tube and he told the lady they had hired 4 singers to do this song & wasted 3-4 weeks and did not work. Got online and discovered DIMASH flew him up to Poland, I think. He arrived they discussed what they wanted/needed for the movie and the next day he got it DONE. They are so impressed with him they going to offer him a part in the sequel of NEW CREATORS~~THE PAST. Research it please and it has English sub so you know what he is saying because he talks super fast. Love your reactions ..He does not "COMPETE" after WORLD'S GREATEST SINGER lied to him and he respectful as he is, he left not saying a word. He met one of children from his homeland who was there to compete and that's how he knew they lied to him. His Homeland hold Children up for a great career and care for elderly so DO NOT LIE to DIMASH. They treated him tacky verbally so no one watches that show anymore. They also cut almost 2/3 of his song when edit was done and it went off after that season contract. YAY!
Why the lyrics of the rap part include the older generation? Because it's part of his kazakh culture and also because for him all members of family, friends and teachers are very important to him. Many of us from different countries and cultures still look to our older members of the family for advice and how we can care for them. Dimash has been classically trained since he was 5 yrs old and both parents are professional singers in their country. The competition show was called The Singer, in China. Kazakhstan has only had its independence since 1991. His culture is ancient and important to him . He represents that culture every opportunity he has . Thus his rap message . Respect for those who came before and those who are elders are part of who he is . He was raised with old traditions and culture. He just finished his masters in composition btw . He’s well educated, philosophical and a humanitarian. He’s humble and the real deal . He looks forward to a world where children don’t cry bc of the actions of adults ( war ). Status , economics, position never impressed me. Decent people do . This young man is reaching places in the spirits of people they didn’t know existed . I do have hope . They are chanting Dimaxi, Dimaxi, Dimaxi which is his name in Chinese. It's pronounced (De-mah-she). I think you should do Sinful Passion next. But, my two favorite songs are "Know" (the one from sochi is a good one to see first) It's a Russian song. And then also I love "Autumn Strong" which is a Chinese song that makes me cry every time. Dimash is the best ever!

I agree that Sinful Passion is a “must watch” though you can’t really go wrong with anything from Dimash. I’ve so many favourites but just to name a few I would say Love is like a dream, Know (all his performances of this are different!), Adagio (from the Singer competition and a recent live stream performance he gave recently for the Tokyo Jazz festival of Samaltau. They're chanting "Dimashi", which is the way they say his name in Chinese. He has a number of music videos, and his Arnau concert in NY is awesome, as well as other concerts he did in China and Russia, and in Kazakhstan as well!

Yeah....he rapped at his New York's Barclays Centre concert too. (December 10th, 2019) Full house show. Fans from more than 65 countries. US fans from more than 42 states attended this concert. Just type Dimash arrival at JFK Airport on YT to see him being greeted by fans in New York upon his arrival at JFK Airport for his Barclays Centre concert.Only songs he haven't done....metal and cowboy😁😁 in Kazakhstan he did some collaborations with jazz groups there too. Highly talented and versatile are his middle names.

In case you are not aware, he has produced a studio-generated version where he's singing at least two parts, which is really cool -- his melody and screaming simultaneously. It lacks the rap and crowd interaction, but the vocals are tremendous. I have thought for some time that he needs to be singing duets or trios or quartets with himself since no one else can match his vocals as backup singers.
I love this version because of the energy and audience participation, but his music video of Screaming should be watched too. Same song but completely different. It's like he was cloned and singing with himself. He also played all the music. Thanks for the reaction. Cheers!

He is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range. Hi, Rah. I've been enjoying your Dimash reactions from here on the West Coast of USA. Since his rap was a shoutout to those who preserve their culture and their mother tongue it could be because this performance was on a Chinese stage, he was singing a song in English, and the rap was in Kazakh (his native tongue), the language he's most comfortable in. Dimash himself has said that he raps badly, but he likes to do it at his concerts because, he jokes, they can't kick him out of his own concert. I don't think he's as bad at rapping as he says, but he's very self-critical. He doesn't even like to watch videos of his own performances because he says all he sees are his mistakes and things he could do better. As for your next reaction, I'd love to see "Sinful Passion".

Love the video -playing the piano and swimming, plus multiple dimash's.
Also the drumming is Dimash, but those backup vocals are phenomenal. None of which were featured in this performance.

I don’t typically fall into celebrity fanaticism but this young man has something special . Status , economics, position never impressed me. Decent people do . This young man is reaching places in the spirits of people they didn’t know existed .
I do have hope . Once in a century or more on this level . I’m glad I was able to witness this in my lifetime. He reminds us we all have a part as well . He’s brave too . I have immense respect for him .

But, my two favorite songs are "Know" (the one from sochi is a good one to see first) It's a Russian song. And then also I love "Autumn Strong" which is a Chinese song that makes me cry every time. Dimash is the best ever!

I agree that Sinful Passion is a “must watch” though you can’t really go wrong with anything from Dimash. I’ve so many favourites but just to name a few I would say Love is like a dream, Know (all his performances of this are different!), Adagio (from the Singer competition and a recent live stream performance he gave recently for the Tokyo Jazz festival of Samaltau. Just type Dimash arrival at JFK Airport on YT to see him being greeted by fans in New York upon his arrival at JFK Airport for his Barclays Centre concert.Only songs he haven't done....metal and cowboy😁😁 in Kazakhstan he did some collaborations with jazz groups there too. In case you are not aware, he has produced a studio-generated version where he's singing at least two parts, which is really cool -- his melody and screaming simultaneously. It lacks the rap and crowd interaction, but the vocals are tremendous. I have thought for some time that he needs to be singing duets or trios or quartets with himself since no one else can match his vocals as backup singers.

Hi, Rah. I've been enjoying your Dimash reactions from here on the West Coast of USA. Since his rap was a shoutout to those who preserve their culture and their mother tongue it could be because this performance was on a Chinese stage, he was singing a song in English, and the rap was in Kazakh (his native tongue), the language he's most comfortable in. Dimash himself has said that he raps badly, but he likes to do it at his concerts because, he jokes, they can't kick him out of his own concert. I don't think he's as bad at rapping as he says, but he's very self-critical. He doesn't even like to watch videos of his own performances because he says all he sees are his mistakes and things he could do better. As for your next reaction, I'd love to see "Sinful Passion".
