George has some set of Stones on him to climb in that missile and let it rip, but that smirk on his face at the very end says it all! What a team effort and what an incredible machine. Great way to end the first season.
After watching this it lead me to binge watch every other episode and just remind me all the details that I’ve seen in the past. I used to work at a body shop down the road and every Friday night we would just go and hang out. And I was blown away by the level of detail and craftsmanship to every single piece but yet be so functionable. I was 18 years old at the time now I’m 33. Some of the faces have changed but the quality and craftsmanship and the level of detail has never changed. And Jarrod your passion back then it’s still the same. Thank you for the work that you have done for the industry.
Well done! This was an exceptional episode! Phenomenal coverage from the salt 2020 speed week! You guys nailed the emotion of us spectators watching George Poteet dig in and set again mind blowing speeds and records! Love seeing George's completed wagon and seeing him and Troy chat as old friends. Jared and fam - excellent job and we will be anxious for season 2!!
great video! i love that wagon i will be watching this video again on the tv vs phone so i can take more of it in visually. also love the camera shots from inside cockpit of poteets land speed car.
Could Speed Demon atually be the fastest piston driven thing on land and in the air? I'm not sure what the piston powered air speed record is but knowing that what are essentially WW2 planes and engines struggle to reach that speed it might just be. Next job for George and Troy - build Air Speed Demon with the same kind of motor and set simultaneous land and air speed records!
We know it's the fastest piston engine on land, but the fastest piston airspeed record belongs to a modified P51 wich is recorded at 531 miles per hour. They're getting close to the airspeed record though!

The Brookwood looks cooler with the billet wheels. I met moose years ago and he's a cool guy. The sniper was one of the best cars ever built.

Scarey fast cars
Awesome car, Jerrod is a clown 🤡 🤣
Troy you can find somebody else to be your spokesman he's annoying that's probably why I couldn't handle his own show
Thanks for the feedback and watching!
