We had a terrifying ride both to and from the pub in the dark bouncing around in a tiny dinghy.
the pub was very friendly then and i distinctly remember them offering a loaf of bread and some bacon for our morning breakfast

Great video. Have been fortunate enough to visit the Ty Coch on numerous occasions. It's a million dollar location for sure. The whole Llyn peninsula is simply stunning. Hopefully next time you visit the sun will bless you also. No matter its still wonderful

My father pondered why there are so many Welsh place names mentioning Coch (or Goch when a treigliad is added)? Bontgoch, Penrhyncoch, Erwgoch... Anybody know why?

One English guy went on a rant about all things Welsh here on youtube over Parking, that's right, just the Parking. Not how he was treated, but the bloody parking.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed yourself?!... people outside of the UK are often surprised by the beaches of South West and North West Wales. Not enough tourists go further than Cardiff or Wrexham. Which is a shame.
New South Wales got its name from the beaches of South West Wales.

wanderlauren Hi Lauren, thanks for the reply. Can you say where in the video you say ‘Ty Coch Inn’ please. Bit of a debate in Wales at the moment about people mispronouncing Welsh place names or not even bothering to pronounce them in the first place. 🙂

Glad they managed to survive the go,f course given it’s clear & present danger! 😂🤣🤥. I’ve walked through there countless times & never yet been attacked by a wild animal, let alone a stray golf ball or even an angry golfer.

@@Wanderlauren oh I see, and question mark on the end. I'm right now on the st.jacob beach in Dubrovnik. The beach bar is closed but it's so warm and sunny here that I'm thinking about swimming. This is a piece of paradise.
