😂Fails in Wales!!😅 too funny!!! Dry weather is always good! Lol Seriously lovely views from the island and yes, steps that go down also go up!!! Lol Awesome lighthouse!!! Never knew walking and talking was a chore, of course if you didn't have steps to climb..lolol...poor Wills!!! Wow, very beautiful looking hideaway reserve with lovely trails and lakes. Wonderful to have the place to yourselves. Didn't know Wills spoke French, German and Dutch all at once!🤣 Awesome Station! Sorry you had to change your plans last minute but we Honestly enjoyed your replacement destination!!! Thanks So Much and we hope all is well!!! 😁🤙👊
Thank you so much. Yes the light house was a trek, but we enjoyed it. We struggle with walking and talking on the flat, so this was a challenge!! Hahah yep the welsh language is a funny old thing! Once you’ve learnt the alphabet though, it is easier to read stuff than English though. The beaches in Anglesey are gorgeous we’d love to see more of them. Cheers for watching and leaving us a lovely comment. Cheers 🍻
Chippy chippy in Holyhead is the best chippy in the whole of the UK. I eat there every single day on my holiday. My mouth is watering just thinking about it, thankfully it's not long until my holidays. The cafe at South stack is pretty wonderful too, especially for walkers and ramblers. I could go on for hours I love the place so much. So much nature and beauty, lovely people too.
Thanks for the heads up on the chippy! We love a good fish n chips. The south stack cafe looked gorgeous, but we didn't eat there this time. Cheers for watching 🍻
The scenery of Anglesey was really lovely, those impressive cliffs around the lighthouse, the greenery of the Dingle and then the beaches. It looks like a great place for a holiday, just be prepared to bring some of your own food!
They've put a lot of effort into the Dingle in the past decade or so, and it's so much nicer than it used to be (and more accessible). Anglesey is lovely because it's not overrun and touristy so you can get little areas like this that aren't packed with people.
It's a beautiful little place, quite the haven. We really enjoyed our walk though it. We love Anglesey. It has its touristy spots, but you can always find a little book or cove somewhere. Cheers for watching 🍻
I live there. Wish there was more job opportunities but its beauty cannot be questioned. Unfortunately its becoming a second home destination for many a people and locals are often overlooked or cannot afford to buy housing. That is not a anti English sentiment as I do not blame anyone who would want to live here. We are all free to pursue a happy life. I blame our governments who do not recognise its own people. In that regard I recognise myself an anglesey lad more so than welsh. As Cardiff does not give a damn about anything up here. In fact I'd argue the English probably help more econonomaclly with tourism than the South of Wales ever have. Northern England's people have always loved coming here to holiday. A break from the hustle and bustle of city life.
We're always here for "Fails in Wales." The lighthouse room looks like a cross training gym. Thought you were taking a break to break a sweat! With all those steps, we're surprised there aren't most ghosts created at that site. Kingfishers are beautiful but elusive! Excellent beach drone footage! Wills don't be casting spells on your audience with all those long words.
Thanks guys. We will be bringing out the 6 part box set of fails in Wales if our luck continues! Anyway we’re in Rhodes today so all is well. Cheers for watching. Those stairs were killer. Great day out though. Cheers 🍻

Thank you for watching. Anglesey is so beautiful and we always love a visit there. The steps up and down to south stack were brutal!! It was very beautiful though. Thanks for sharing your family history, we hope you get over for a visit soon. Cheers 🍻
Guys you had better weather at South Stack than we did ! And hehe yes there are a lot of steps there, nice look inside the lighthouse and Bardsey Island has been on our list for a long while because of our faith and the Pilgrim Path which we have been doing, we know Colin won't take the boat out, he is really careful and we were actually opposite there walking last week and got footage of the Island and were looking out for him to see if he was out ! We might have seen you if you had gone ! 😃 The Dingle is gorgeous, haven't been there for a while and we love Benllech and Red Wharf Bay too. Well done on the Welsh pronunciation of LlanfairPG Wills 😃 Shame you missed Abersoch it's been gorgeous this week . Nice to see around Anglesey 🏴 Have a great holiday :) ~ Anna 👍
Cheers guys. We’ll get to Bardsey one day! Colin is right to be cautious. We’ve gone off Abersoch. Whilst we took that call, wills took a call off his mum - who is ill and we used the 4G - we got a parking ticket!!! Abersoch is off our Christmas card list for sure!! We loved South Stack - even all those steps. We also love so many of the beaches on Anglesey. It was a fine day out in the end. Cheers for watching 🍻
@@PostcardAndAPintHope Wills mum is feeling better now, I would ring up and pursue it and explain what happened with his mum being ill. Guessing it was the car park near the beach/ golf club as it happens to a lot of people there. We had a lot of beach stuff with us a few years back and parked in the golf club area one and there was some problem with tickets and I pursued it and it got sorted. Don't be put off Abersoch hehe its gorgeous especially on a hot day, we have some beautiful video of it when the beaches are packed and water sports gong on that still needs editing, its so beautiful 🙂
Not bad at all for a plan B. Hats off to you both for climbing all those stairs. That nature reserve looked lovely, lush and well cared for. You did well walking round there after thos stairs. HAving a 'Hangry session there Rachel 🤪🤪 I so get that. Good childhood memories, a lovely day at the beach and to top it off I heard Wills say the name of the railway station. We were luckier- and stayed in Llanfair! Full stop! Couldn't have coped with more. Thanks for the tour and your plan B. Enjoy your week. 🌞😎🇳🇱🙋♀🇳🇿 🍺🍺
Ah thanks Anita. Yep those steps were brutal, but we made it. Yes, sorry just a bit hangry!!! The nature reserve was beautiful and then it was summer again and we went to the beach! Gotta love a bit of Llanfair PG and the gags that go with it. Cheers 🍻
Wow where to start. Way too many steps to the lighthouse. My knees would have exploded. Cool that you got to go up too though. The Dingle looks awesome. Peaceful just our sort of place. And the beaches. Spot on. A great tour and something to think about when we head that way again. Top work guys. 👌🏻👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️. Best wishes from us both.
Yep we had legs of jelly after that! You can get pretty good photos from the top though with no stairs involved!! The Dingle was beautiful and you can’t go wrong with beaches on Anglesey. Cheers both 🍻
Thanks for showing us a different side to Anglesey! We love Beaumaris and Church Bay, but there’s so much more to see and do! Oh my, those steps would have crippled us 😮 Will’s jokes get worse 😂
Ah thanks guys. We love Anglesey, there are so many incredible beaches. Yep those stairs nearly finished us, but it was good to see some different parts of the island. Cheers for watching. 🍻
Best part of Anglesey is the west coast, the north and east are quite industrial and grey, nice if you want to see tankers when sat on the beach! West coast is beautiful and peaceful, well worth a visit 😊
@PostcardAndAPint we loved the west coast beaches and coves. Parking was excellent in most places. Very fun visit to Anglesey Wales! I loved the old photos of Wills as a little guy - too cute! This sounded like a really good backup plan. Loved the bit with Rach looking out very regally at the lighthouse despite the wind!
I remember being on the beach at Newborough Forest in the Heatwave of 1976. The sand was too hot to walk on. Burnt the soles of my feet and got bitten by a horsefly. We holidayed in Anglesey ever year from 5 years old to 16 years old. And I've been back so many times. My Auntie lived in Moelfre and her ex, my uncle lived in Benllech. Always had some great days
That sounds idyllic, well not the horsefly! Wills auntie lived in Benllech too, he spent many a summer on Benllech beach. We love Newborough beach and Llanddwyn too, especially out of season. Cheers for watching 🍻
Great trip to Anglesey, shame the island trip got cancelled but I’m sure you’ll get round to it again. Looks like you made the most of your day though and fits lots in 😊 I really liked the lighthouse but it was so windy the day I visited I got a little vertigo on the steps down 😅 the nature reserve looked very nice
Thanks Yasmin. It was quite the trek was South Stack, but we made it! Need to get fitter. Yep gutted about Bardsey, but another day. Sorry to hear your south stack trip, it is really high! Yes all in all it was a good day. Cheers 🍻
Just beautiful. It's a shame that I had to cancel my trip there at the time of the stupid virus. I would have liked to see it with my own eyes. Thank you for showing me !
Great video guys, shame about your boat trip, the summer has been none existent this year so the odd day we can get of sunshine is appreciated and you seemed to make the most of it! Shame you didn’t see a red squirrel 🐿️ but the Robin was cute! Well done Wills for being able to say that long word twice even 🤣 hope you are having a lovely time away! Thanks a lot for this video. I am planning our holidays in Wales at the moment and it was great to watch your authentic insight. We are planning to go to South Stack but over 400 steps seem to be quite a challenge. Is the path wide enough to take a rest now and then without hindering other people? Thank you!
Thank you so much. I'm not gonna lie, it was a challenge, but there were benches and handy rocks to sit on along the way! We're so glad we did it. Have a brilliant time 🍻
To be honest Llangefni was the nearest big town and we’d seen the Dingle online - it was very pretty in the sunshine!! Maybe you know different!!! Cheers for watching 🍻
@@PostcardAndAPint American shops are open much more than British shops! We were taking some friends around Cheltenham last night and commenting on the fact that the stores would all be open till 9 PM if it were the US 🤓
Hi, since our Ibiza videos, we’ve mostly used a GoPro 11 which has a wind reduction filter built in (as well as using the foam pop shield on the mic). We use the automatic setting which to be honest is a bit hit and miss, depending on how strong the wind is and how it hits the mic. Also during editing, sometimes we’ll add a high pass filter to the audio (cutting out low frequencies while letting through the higher ones). That’s pretty much it to be honest. Hope that helps? Cheers
@PostcardAndAPint thanks I'm gopro 11 also but trying to get the best sound isn't easy as wind reduction to me sounds mono. Your videos always sound crisp and with us both having to deal with the wind in Wales etc thought you might be using a magic microphone 😅🤣
@@outandaboutwithus ah cool. Yes, the wind reduction feature does do some funny stuff with your sound, whenever any noise reduction is applied, something suffers somewhere, which is why we generally have it on auto, rather than in permanently. If it helps, when we edit, I’ll take the track with the camera audio on its own and then normalise the file, add a high pass filter then compress it so it’s all fairly even. We do the same with the voice over track and then take a while to mix the 3 audio tracks (camera audio, music and voice over) together. Sometimes I’ll then compress the full mixed down audio, but not always. You’ll probably notice that we don’t always have that much camera audio, the majority is music and voice over - which is easier to control. Hope that was of some interest (I’ll put my anorak back on now 😂). Cheers 🍻
@PostcardAndAPint no that's perfect to the technical minded unfortunately editing is not my strong point hence a wak tour 🤣 thanks for all your help but at the min I thunk if its windy on ours your going to hear wind 🤣😂

Ah thank you. He was a cute little boy but one chunk of a baby!! My gaze out to sea was not as regal as Queen Vic!! Hahah cheers for watching 🍻
Fingers crossed you can visit soon. It’s a lovely island with loads to see and do. Cheers for watching 🍻
Hello from Brazil. Very nice video and place. Excellent narrative 👏🏼 🇧🇷☕️
Thank you so much for watching 🍻
wonderful north wales my friend nice vlog by the way
Thanks so much for watching. It’s a gorgeous place to visit. Cheers 🍻
Sorry we missed your live instagram stream! Have a great week guys ❤️
Ah thanks guys. We’re having a lovely time. Mykonos town today!! Love it. We’re making up for the lack of British summer big time. Our plan B day went well, apart form a parking ticket in Abersoch grrr!!!! We’ll catch a red squirrel one day. Cheers for watching and we can’t wait to catch up with your vids soon!! Cheers 🍻
Great video. Think I would miss all those steps 😮. But the views looked lovely. 👍🏻
Jelly legs for sure!! Cheers for watching 🍻
Good video but can’t believe you went to the Dingle and not to Beaumaris to see the castle, courthouse, jail and pier!!! Maybe I’m biased as I’m Beaumaris born and bred
Hi, thanks for watching and for the comment. We love Beaumaris too and have a vlog just from there if you’re interested. It also features in a couple of other Anglesey videos we have done if you fancy checking them out. Cheers. Beaumaris | Anglesey | Wales - Things To See And Do Vlog

Very nice your trip! Have a nice day! Cheers! 🍻
Thanks so much for watching. 🍻
Brilliant video by the way ❤️ Anglesea
Thank you so much. I’m leaving Wills to answer the sound question!! Cheers 🍻
Have a brilliant time 🍻
@@PostcardAndAPint wow. That was a quick response! Benches and rocks sound perfect! Thank you
My fave place :) Great vid guys, I simply love your narration :)

To be honest Llangefni was the nearest big town and we’d seen the Dingle online - it was very pretty in the sunshine!! Maybe you know different!!! Cheers for watching 🍻

Thanks for watching. We'd love to make another Anglesey Vlog with many more places on it as we love it there. Cheers 🍻
that light house haunted?! you couldn't get me in there!
It didn’t feel scary! Maybe at night!! To be honest after all those stairs, ghosts are the last thing on your mind! Cheers for watching 🍻

Cheers for watching 🍻
We get to see HANGRY Rach in this episode 😂
It’s August!!! Open some shops!!! 🍻
@@PostcardAndAPint American shops are open much more than British shops! We were taking some friends around Cheltenham last night and commenting on the fact that the stores would all be open till 9 PM if it were the US 🤓
How do you stop the wind interference with your camera mic?
"Fails in Wales".... I sympathise 😩
Happens all the time 🍻
