- Hey friends, welcome back! I did a bit of shopping at Bath & Body Works this past weekend and picked up some new candles (thanks for your suggestions!), laundry detergent and hand wash. The Roasted Sesame is definitely a repackage of Pumpkin Peanut Brittle. And ironically Linda Song also created that scent 😘🤭
I didn’t know how to do my own laundry until I was in college. I wish I’d been taught that in Home Ec. instead of how to make a cute pillow!
Oh gosh yes! Real life skills should be part of the school curriculum. It’s so important!
@@MrKongsMom I have a friend who taught Family & Consumer Sciences up until recently and they go so much into real life practical things than my old school Home Ec. ever did!
Laundry care : you really need the scent booster in order to smell anything after the dryer. The detergent alone isnt enough
Oh no! I was afraid of that. I really don't care for many boosters. Have you tried them? Thoughts??
@@MrKongsMom yes I've tried the laundry care that is how I know detergent alone is not enough lol I tried it alone and with the booster....if it is a hang to dry item detergent alone is enough though. Items that go in the dryer the booster is needed .....in my machine the booster beads did dissolve completely I have read some having issues with it not completely dissolving but I didnt have that issue. I wash almost everything in cold water as well. Hope this info helped.
Although you are not asking me, lol I have tried them and I really like them. You don’t need too many at all just maybe half of a capful is it and it does add a stronger fragrance to the laundry I use the sun washed Santal and I find it very relaxing and nice.

I absolutely love peachy scents. Blushed Peony is a power house. It is probably a 7 or 8 in my open space. Nice haul. I bought 9. Have a wonderful week ❌️ ⭕️

I LOVE the laundry items… I may or may not have a stash. I have been washing my comforter a tad too often JUST for a good nose-ful!
Ha! Love it! Are you using the booster? I usually hate the waxy feeling that the boosters leave over time.
Great haul! I picked up a lot of the same candles. I also picked up the Starfruit Sangria in the candle. Burning it now and it’s like the soap. Smells so good! Passed on the Roasted Sesame because it’s too much like Pumpkin Peanut Brittle. I like PPB but it’s too early for that (smelled like fall) so it was an easy pass.
For the life of me I could not figure out what roasted sesame reminded me of when I smelled it in store. But you are right, pumpkin peanut brittle sounds about right!
Nice haul! I can't wait to hear how the Cherry Soju burns. I was tempted to get it, but my focus was on the Sweet Tea and Lemonade. I agree that sesame is disagreeable to my nose. You really need to smell First Sight. It's a nice BR540 dupe. The body care didn't smell much like it to me, but the candle is nice. I've only burned it once though. I can't wait to hear reviews of the new to you scents.
So far so good on the Cherry Soju! Honestly, it's really really good!

Raspberry Rose I’m hearing is a repackage of Raspberry Mimosa but I don’t have any left to compare and haven’t burned one in a couple years so can’t be sure about that.

Same, usually. But trust that I will return the one's I paid $12.95 for if they dud out. I don't mind crocking them usually but if I don't have a coupon, they have to burn well!

Hey Mel, I've been watching a few of your old school BBW hauls from 5, 8, and 10 years ago lol. They had better looking labels in my opinion. I have 86 hand soaps (mix of gel and foam) and 105 BBW candles lol. I have two body washes, one 3-in-1 for men, 9 room sprays, 10 body sprays for men and their deodorants. I checked if you did a review of Peach Bellini and the answer is no, you did Market Peach and Peach Sugar Cone. Nice haul. I got Bamboo & Eucalyptus and Ginger & Hinoki, didn't care for Roasted Sesame, and the Soju one smelled very similar to Japanese Cherry Blossom.
Oh I agree with you! The old school BBW labels really are my faves! They were so fun and unique. They seem to have a totally different vibe now.
@@MrKongsMom Yes, and some even criticize their look, aka the veteran burners, I'm not artistic, so a label is a label lol. If I can only go back in time to get those classics.

Danbury Shortbread didn’t seem to be a repackage to me when burning, smells like a buttery cookie. It’s good!
To me that one smells like one of the cinnamon bakery candles that came out at Christmas time maybe its Joy

Wow $21.95 for the Danbury shortbread? That's a great price. Around here in New Hampshire they're $29 95 I believe. Good deal!
$12.95 is def the best sale for candles, but I only usually buy when they are $12.95 AND I have a coupon lol.

Ok so I had it in my cart but I took it out because I didn't love it as much as the Cherry Blossom Soju. I needed two of those lol. I found the lemon to also be a bit too lemon cleanerish to my nose.

Omg! My daughter’s favorite scent is A Thousand Wishes also. She’s 11. So weird. Yeah I’m not much of a fan of it either. She also likes rose. 🤢
What is it with our little old ladies lol???? It's such an older, more sophisticated scent. It cracks me up to smell it on a pre-teen haha! But I do appreciate that she loves it. It's totally her jam!

VERY similar! But I think Bronzed Sunset is a bit sweeter than Coco Paradise.

Raspberry rosé smells exactly like the raspberry rosé poppi. If you love that candle you have to try to drink. It’s so good!

No At First Sight at my store so I am not sure. I don't see it on the site either..... Is this new?

Ok, I am glad we are on the same boat here on Kylie lol. Yeah, I tried it at Ulta and ugh... I friggen LOVE it. And the lasting power was so good. I am a bit torn on what to do...... I know my mom would like it too.
@@MrKongsMom I went into Ulta on my lunch break and tried to buy a purse spray but they were sold out. Only 2 large bottles left at Washington Sq location. 😲 They ordered one online for me and it ships to me for free. Who knew this was such a thing?! Not me. Incredible service and way for them to capture a sale in the moment. It lasted for at least 5 hours on me so I agree, great longevity! It’s just so pretty I can hardly stand it! 🤗
