I’m crying for you on the Sherbourne. I found one (because of you 😀) in California and they shipped it to me not in the original box. I was shocked it made it in perfect condition. They packed it so well. I bought the Dawn you recommended to wash it with, but haven’t washed it yet. Thank you for the dish towel suggestion! It wouldn’t have occurred to me to use one otherwise. Hope you find another Sherbourne!
So sorry you lost your Sherbourne Hurricane. It was so beautiful. I’m sure you will find an equally beautiful replacement. I also lost a hurricane a couple months ago, it was on the way home from the Home Goods store. I had almost made it all the way home but right before the glass sleeve just so slightly touched the metal part of the hurricane and shattered the whole thing. Never got to use it. Money 💰 down the drain. Their flimsy paper isn’t enough protection and I should have known better. Lessons learned the hard way right? Thanks for sharing, I always enjoy your videos!

Great empties! I’m enjoying the Danbury shortbread but I don’t think it smells exactly like the cookie. I love me some shortbread 😋😋 Kringle is missing out because I would have totally purchased more sweet macaroons and jelly donut had they been for this weekend.

Oh so sorry about the hurricane. I had one shatter the same way but mine happened the day I purchased it, so I never even used it. 😬 Fortunately it was one I bought on clearance and I had purchased two. Thanks for the tip about using a towel, I’ll never wash one again without one. 🤗
YES! Put the towel down. Glass can be super sensitive to bumps and honestly the towel should protect against most bumps potentially causing breakage.

i did try that once (standing up on a numb foot) and ended up breaking my foot over it, 5 weeks in a boot and it was an easy recovery....im fortunate enough that i didnt need surgery to fix it. lesson learned...no pressure on a numb foot, let it get feeling before applying pressure to it.
Well I will learn from you! OMG that is awful! I promise I will wait for my foot to wake up the next time haha! Hopefully your foot healed with no lingering issues.
@@MrKongsMom it sucked until i got the boot, then it was easier to manage. I did need pain meds to get me through the day, at night when sleeping it wasnt so bad. Its been healed for 9 years with no problems at all. I got out of the worlds tackiest shoe before i graduated high school, so that was good.
I forgot to mention it was numb when i broke it, so it wasnt as bad as it would have been if i could feel it snap. So getting your foot un numb before standing up is a priority.

Ive seen so many wood bases or pieces i yhink eould make a great base for hurricanes, i knoe u can get glass but ive only seen the cylinder type , i really wish there were more options to buy separate glass pieces that aren't a arm and leg !
Oh no! RIP Sherbourne! 😢😢In my saga of fighting teenage boys, one of mine decided to "make" a bedroom in our basement to be away from his brothers and having full privacy over the summer. First thing he did when his makeshift creation was done and come to me and ask for wax. He took a wax warmer and needed to pick out scents. 🤣🤣 My basement now smells terrific!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love how kids just decide to move to a different part of the house. Stella has tried to room hop here but she’s not allowed because she destroys carpet like it’s her job these days with her makeup and nail painting projects lol. We want to replace the carpet but are literally waiting for her to be older before doing it 🤣. I’m glad your basement is smelling like a million bucks!
@@MrKongsMom Just a tip if ever needed. If nail polish gets on the carpet, test small area first, but then get it out with paint thinner. My eldest son threw a bottle of red nail polish, breaking it on a WHITE carpet when he was a toddler. My friend's dad owned a carpet store and said to use the paint thinner. Stuff worked like a miracle, removing it all.

Ioh noooo im sorry ! On a good note , shopping time for a new one though 😂! 2 of my hurricane i use for 3 wick bbw both broke but not like whole thing like one is a the bottom part of just one side like a whole chunk and other was a top side whole chunk so im still using them because there in corners so really cant see but when we move next week im hoing toss and just find new ones ! Ive been totally out of all things besides scentsy since were getting ready to move so just realized today semi annual! Ive already packed all my candles "only 2 larger sized boxes" proud of myself 1 is summer ish candles &1 fall/winter! Buttt im almost out of lotion and ahmd soap so going stock on thosr and i fo have a few candles from last yr i still ahvent exchanged that i think im going try to trade in !

Hey Mel, since you lost your "hurricane" maybe it's time to invest in a "typhoon" lol. RIP to it, hope you find a great replacement. I have some disappointing news, Woodwick's Black Currant & Rose wick put itself out. I sensed a scam with this one, oh well. Homeworx Sun Kissed Lemon from Ulta is burning really good right now, the lemon note is amazing, there is a bit of pineapple but the lemon is drowning it out. Nice roundup. Farmstand Peach is still on my huge mental wish list, same with Vanilla Bean Macaron, Cotton Candy, Grilled Peaches and Berry Snow Cone. I'm looking forward to Santorini Coast, hopefully next year. Diamond Of The Season has a really good smell, the foaming hand soap smells good too. BBW is having a BOGO free candle sale, the last one ended I believe yesterday the Buy 3, get 3 free. I've heard briefly that starting June 1st BBW will have their SAS.

Oh I’m excited you got a Vacation candle! I’ve been going back and forth on trying it. I’ve tried Arquiste candles which are the same and I get quite a bit of soot , I feel like this is from major oil oversaturation. I do want to try their new fragrance After Sun
I expected the Vacation to soot to be totally honest and it's not doing it at all! That being said, it's totally a smaller room type candle. I'm gonna need it in a multi wick format!

Have you thought about seeing if a glass company could make you a replacement hurricane?
I have not. I just assume it would probably be super spendy. I also don't know of any places locally around here so I'd probably have to order online. I am however keeping an eye out at the discount stores around here. I am hoping I can find something that may work.
