To another Northgard game with the Dragon clan.
This time we're exloring the new dragon clan rework
in the ongoing open beta and finding out what is about
to change for the clan.

That upgrade on the dragonkin nightmares is completely broken 30% attack debuff is nuts imagine in team games lol.....
yeah it can be quite significant, especially with mjölnir
@@CrazyDentist depends how long it lasts the debuff as well can be game deciding if it lasts for like 5 seconds let’s say.
Just played the clan, seems like a strong early clearer like wolf. The leader can get 36 damage per hit and after final upgrade up to 42 damage. First impressions seem to be a stronger wolf at this time as dragons Econ seems to be sturdier.
Yeah they fill different roles tho, the dragon chief can get really strong if fighting alone, the wolf can be in your territory in late 801 with serker and 6-8 army tho.

As a player with 50 wins in this clan, I will say that it is very important to make a relic for him as quickly as possible. I personally do the relic in 801, then I do the chief. But of course there is no salvation from a wolf or a snake💀
I tried the beta and the lion clans new relic is really interesting because you don’t want to feast before you get it
yeah i wanted to try it out and realized that we already feasted 3 times.
Am i crazy or did they say they were making capture a defaul skill for dragon clan now?
I think its still locked behind the lore, but wouldn't swear on it.
Your Chieftan has it by default but everyone else needs the upgrade
@@CrazyDentist It's default on the warchief, and the lore unlocks it for all units in the same zone as the warchief. Just in case you were still unsure.

No clue :P I would prefer it, but I'm not part of the dev team.

How did you force villagers to attack neutral zone at 2:05? I tried to do this with other clans but failed.
Its a Special ability of the Dragon Clan, so it is the only Clan that can do this.
I feel like the dragon clan went from being good to being very good…

It think it is definitely better, it might still be very vunerable to early pressure tho.
@@CrazyDentist Thats true, among other things, having too many thralls or loosing your dragon essence (or whatever its called) can be deadly.
Their Jötnar are much weaker now, stats-wise, while having whirlwind by default. But yeah they definitely feel really good right now. I don't think they're too strong, their mechanics just feel less clunky and less contrived, which makes playing them a lot smoother.
@@a.nonimus6705 I guess the ability to just buy thralls whenever you feel like it, gives them quite a boost
@@CrazyDentist Oh yeah for sure. Also the fact that you're not limited in how many thralls you can have. Makes them play a lot smoother than before, I'm enjoying them a lot at the moment 😁
