main stag player here. i never go for jar relic. i go for early altar around 1 month after the 1st winter. depends on how soon you can have acess to your lore to unlock the altar lore. i also dont go for colonization but for eradication. in a FFA setting like this i would clear my 1st ring and potentially clearable 2nd ring tiles with 1 warrior while having 2 woodcutter working at all times except if no sheep but alot of tiles to grab i pull back everything to collect food. if open farm and/or sheep you usually don't need to. i always feast in nov for fame. before winter starts i will have everything cleared, colonized and i have 2 foods and 2 woods and 1 lore running. start of winter after the nov feast i start building 2 silos, 1 stone and 1 marketplace and/or tradingpost if no ruin or shipwreck. treasure will make this alot easier but you should very consistently be able to get upgraded main and have the resources ready when u unlock the altar lore. in 801 you mine iron and smith, skalds, warriors, merchants and your food. get skalds going, second stone, upgrade everything as you go. depending on whats going on in the game you might wanna go for camps early and you might greed instead.. either way i go top lores into bottom lores for glory of the clan and only then i go for military lores. i feel like getting the 1000 fame asap to also boost altar is always worth it. unless someone fully converts onto you i would always prioritise getting to glory of clan first. in very late game scenarios you could still go for stag relic but i very rarely do for that. i usually just keep scaling into the 30-40+ converts if nobody contests me. for me personally if i go for the relic warriors instead you could only convert let's say 26 instead of regular 40 warriors for the same amount of gold and they consume so much food you cannot sustain it easily through winter or a blizzard. i have lost a few games in the past because of this. i am by no means the best player or stag player in northgard but i find myself doing very well very often playing stag like this. the only thing i genuinly struggle with is if i get early or mid 801 attacked by eagle or snake.. rant is over =p just felt like sharing this for no reason XD keep up the vids man i enjoy watching them.

I would definitely advice to get any of the relics if it goes ultra lategame (even mjölnir), since the cost is relatively (to you total income) small the later you forge it. I Also was a big fan of full fame rush into a big altar, but the jar relic is just so busted in its ballpark even tho other strategies are also really strong and rushing a relic really slows down your early game, the bonus on ALL of my workers just seems pretty insane to me.
Yeah we got the spectator mode after 5-6 years (which was kinda late ngl) and its still quite an logistical hassle to cast a high level game, but at least we got an general infrastructure now to make something happen. maybe one day...
