I'd love to see a redesign of the UI cause I am indeed one of those people who hates how it looks. Simplicity is very underrated and it would do this bot so much good. If it happens, I'll definitely jump on board and finally use Streamerbot.
Redesigning the UI for an app like this is definitely in the hard basket given it does so much. Like some other applications that have almost infinite levels of complexity, you need a couple of UI "modes" like simple user vs advanced user.
I'm especially excited for the new support for separate RUclips bot accounts. It's not the END of the world auto-chatting as myself, but when I was streaming on Twitch my bot was basically a character so having a separate account will be exactly what I want/need for it.
This update, the one that made it harder to find basic things - is why I basically stopped bothering with it. "Hey, that command isn't working, it runs through 5-6 actions, which action was it triggering again?" Well before I could click on Commands and just see it. NOW I have to look at all triggers, unsortable, and try to find it. So before it took 2-3 seconds, now it takes a minute. It's a pain in the neck. Feedback was basically received as: "It's not going back, it's better this way, having it go back to simpler and more user friendly is not possible and unneeded." Keep the triggers, but leave the commands where it was.
Streamerbot has a small UI splash screen Im hopeful for a full UI change. I also like the new changelog that appears after an update. Great Video Nutty, thanks for the recap.

Man I would be more than happy to jump in and help redesign the UI/UX for Streamerbot tbh. I’ve been a UI designer for over a decade and was one of the earliest designers at Square (the mobile payments platform). Love Streamerbot as a utility and would love to see it get some proper attention toward its UI.
I literally only use it cause of you showing me the power behind it but I full heartedly agree the UI was the one thing I really hated about it, with enough time with it you get used to it but it’s still very intimidating and hard to understand at first.
Your tutorials have been so useful in helping me to update my assets from what they were when I initially started streaming a couple years ago. I was hoping to use streamerbot to toggle a visibility function upon getting a new chat message (I want to make my custom image open and close it's mouth with a delay and using filters) So far, no dice. Do you have any suggestions?

I really want SB to implement a profile system that will let me separate actions, like if I want to set up a profile specifically for Twitch, one for RUclips/Kick, or even if I want to set up actions specifically for a charity stream where all alerts are off minus donations and then a profile set up for my main stream.
Have you played with the little plus sign next to the question mark for triggers? You can add new triggers right there. While I admit I haven't tested all types of triggers, I have yet to find a trigger type I use that couldn't have a new one created that way. Definitely beats going to a tab and creating the trigger before going back to the actions tab to link it in the triggers section. I would like to know what others think if this nifty little addition.

sorry, that was in regard to the last bit of the video; covering the fact that some things need to be fixed. I think this is a glaring issue for most people who want to learn how to code within this specific context. Code is what sets this program apart from apps like mixitup, bc you can make almost anything if not absolutely anything you want/need. @@nuttylmao
Have you ever looked at firebot? I was gonna switch over to streamer bot since everyone was talking about it and such but honestly it was the same stuff I do in firebot just with a lot more friendly UI to it. So far I don't think there isn't anything streamer bot does over it that justified me to not just stay with it. Other then Hype train triggers. Firebot doesn't have that.
Is there a way to capture the chat window and just use it as a browser source instead of showing some other third party tools? Or is basically only for you to see and interact?

I have tried to use this bot before, a few times. I love the idea of all the things it can do and what you can do with it but I am so lost with all the click throughs and trying to understand how to do simple things. I would be so down for a redesign!
I think my comment was removed due to streamer (dot) bot being identified as a url 😅 But I was wondering if it was possible to add custom icons to channel point redeems that you create in SBot like you can do when you create them directly on Twitch. I only see background color in the SBot redeem settings, any idea if there is a workaround? Thanks!

This update made some things worse. I just lost the ability to test specific sub amounts to see what actions get triggered. Right now I have 2 actions. One gets triggered when any amount of gift sub, another gets enabled as well when i have 5 or more. When i go test on each specific action, only the action selected gets triggered. Before i could test specific amounts, for EG: Gonna test 2 gift . or 7 gift. When testing the 7 gift it would run anything where it applies. Now i cant test that , only if i get gifted im going to know if it is working as intended

This is a really great update, although it looks like I'm going to have to relink all my existing actions to new triggers because the ones from the old Platforms tab haven't ported across. Totally worth it though
To do the set game title. its core -> process starting. you have to find the game name in task manager under process. people says that games with anti virus software might not work. have to Administrator streamerbot. And i think im not sure but i think you games has to be on the C: drive to make it work. test games on D: drive nothing worked.
I'm using it a little on a very small DJ stream. I like the voice command function. Need dark mode for sure for my eyes... and yes, give them your ideas please!

This update absolutely broke all of my twitch cheer alerts. My unspecified amount bit alert now plays before my EVERY specified bit alert....

Yeah the splash screen was a very late addition but very helpful as Streamer.bot takes a long time to load sometimes.

The biggest reason I don't use Streamer bot is its UI. I am technically "day blind" and the white UI gives me a headache.

Yes, create a new action with the Twitch Clip subaction, then just add a voice trigger to that action.
