Great video. I primarily use SAMMI, mostly because of the issues you brought up with streamer bot having their triggers scattered everywhere. You can also access the command line in sammi and I use this to run node programs. However, I do also use streamerbot because sammi's audio output is locked onto whatever is the default. Interesting to hear about aitum. I don't really feel like it's worth the 5 dollars a month while other tools are out there. That being said, I could see them eventually taking over.
No way! I was just coming back to streaming here and with all these new bots out there over the past 2 years, I was just about to look a video like this up! Thank you for the comparison. I think I'm going to try Aitum first, ngl. Being newer, I don't need an absurd amount of things for the bot to do and the UI is incredible.
Very cool I've been diving into Streamerbot recently. It's fairly intuitive once you got into it. Following certain tutorials can be tricky due to the update shuffling around several things. I definitely want to get into SAMMI too. Once I get down some basics, I'll finally have some nice effects created.
Nutty missed that streamerbot can update the filters as well using obsraw, ya it takes some coding knowledge, but from someone with no coding knowledge a week ago i've utilized a lot of C# and obsraw thanks to the help from the community and chatgpt
Good video. I'll stick with SAMMI for now. I'm really impressed by these programs, especially Streamerbot and SAMMI. I like the button system a bit more in SAMMI and it can do everything I currently need 🤔
Aitum is a hard sell just because it isn't free and doesn't offer anything the other, free tools do. Great roundup, though. This'll definitely help folks figure out what to try out.
Honestly I actually prefer running actions with streamerbot and midi than when I had the stream deck for 30 minutes. I had no issues making commands for it, even made a couple custom ones with noobs cmdr. Process was easy, but wasn't a fan of the latency. Other than that it was defective so I returned it. I preferred my midi controller anyways.
So I know this isn’t related but it’s your newest video, is there going to be an update for NOOBS CMDR ? it seems like it’s no longer supported and was looking forward to using it unless there’s an alternative you’re working in im all ears.
Hi, thank you for your tutorial video on the Chat Bot. I want ask if you have any advice how I can add my heartrate on obs to twitch . I have a Galaxy watch 6. Hope you can help .
Ty Nutty, now I know I can focus on the most powerful tool and not missing nice things from the others x) I use streamerbot and I agree about the fact that things are a bit messed up. But overall, I believe this is the cleanest way of sorting things, idk.
So, I know this video isnt directly about it but, any idea why my light strip would just randomly fall out of lumia sync? I keep setting up awesome channel rewards with streamer bot and lumia, just to have to randomly disable them because my lights arent synced again
So I have watched the entire video, listened to everything, compared the programs in my head and after 17 minutes and 37 seconds I have only one question. But do you have Patreon? :^)
as someone that is a complete noob with coding and anything related to that world, aitum actually gets me, i just want to plug and play shit, i dont wanna learn how to code and looking at streamer bot alone makes my head hurt, will give sammi a shot tho, it looks clean and i hope its easy to use
Hey Nutty, What about Lumia Stream? Have you checked out what they are pushing out recently? Would rival all these i feel, as a user of the program myself.
@@johnnnybravado it is missing the voice stuff really but it has that overlay which i use the shit out of rather then setting up sources in obs/streamlabs
Streamerbot and sammy are one of the best in my opinion. Ofc both of them has the terribly ui design but alot of function. But aitum ist one of the worst it just looks good, i think you just can buy for 12$ touchportal and you get a streamdeck + a bot, you also have global events and most of the function like aitum. As example a did in touchportal a global event if i change to brb screen, if i press it again i go back to my last scene
The main reason I haven't delved deep into using bots like these is that they seem to only focus on supporting Twitch and RUclips. Are you aware of any that support a wide variety of smaller platforms... like Kick, DLive, Odysee, Rumble, Trovo, and others?
@@nuttylmao The end of the video is what prompted the comment - lol - MIU is as good if not better than the 3 listed here, yet it is a footnote. I was just curious on your take of it v the rest.
@@ItsCliffGaming I've always wondered if I should switch to any of the featured bits. After this video, I'm very happy with MixItUp, especially considering the criteria these bots were judged on. Integration, UI, Action Queues, etc
@@johnnnybravado Same. I tried out Streamer Bot and noticed on my alerts that sometimes it would miss a step in the full command. MIU is still my top-pick!
@@johnnnybravado Right? MixItUp is incredible and the devs care so much about improvement. The UI is extremely easy to follow and doesn't take a C++ class to learn and it also doesn't scatter your commands across the universe. Sammi is likely the most robust tool but it's also the most complex tool. MixItUp can do everything but maybe hard programming *I'm not sure as I'm not a programmer* but it does it with finesse and style and an easy to learn tool. It's honestly perfect for a newer streamer and I'll die on that hill. I've taught multiple assets of it to people who barely understand their PC.
Thanks for the comparison. Gotta say though, i DESPISE the Aitum UI. I'm not a programmer, so I'm not speaking from that vantage point. But I've seen Aitum style UI plenty in programs that dumb down functionality. So they are great at first, but you outgrow them so quickly. And they don't have the consistency of the ugly designs. And yes, Aitum is prettier, to grow with it is garbage. Websites introduced that visual style, and ended up loosing so much info. Windows changed settings (not to the same look, but same design philosophy) and you are looking forever to find things now (without search), and many features removed. Same story again for smartphones. That design languange Aitum uses can go right in the big for all I care. Still, super informative video. I just rant when i hear praise for such UI styles.
So I'm wondering can you help me build a OBS plugin instead of having four instances of OBS running it would be nice if I can have four separate outputs so I can stream record on four separate canvases at the same time in one OBS so basically be combining for instances of OBS into one OBS I also am using the vertical plugin so I can stream to TikTok or other vertical platforms as well and I want that to work with the a plugin that could do this so if you can help let me know that would be awesome
Streamer.bot vs. SAMMI vs. Aitum - Which one are you going with?
Try out Skillshare here: skl.sh/nutty02231
the "Mix It UP" :)
I’ll be honest, none of the three (Firebot for its open-source code base and UI), but I appreciate your review of these three!
I'm not interested in having more than one, and as SAMMI incorporates some pretty incredible stuff already, I'm sold. Love it.
Oh boy can't wait for nutty to say "pick the one that works for you"
Didn't wait long didja

You can do that without OBS Raw and I did mention that in the video 5:25

The way I JUST downloaded Streamer Bot last night and was immediately overwhelmed 😅 I will stick with it though and try to give it a shot.
Don't feel bad if it's too much for you. There's a reason why I covered easier to use alternatives.
if you're still looking for something that's more beginner friendly I have been testing out firebot and it's mostly been very intuitive
Aitum might be the new kid on the block but I prefer it over the alternatives. Much easier on the eyes and the updates have been great.
Son geniales tus videos y el aire de comicidad que le implicas

Can we get a refresh on your opinion a year later? If the programs have changed enough for it to matter that is.
Thank you Nutty, I feel very validated.
Let's be honest mix it up probably worse ui however it is robust and it's overlay feature is handy
Mixitup is actually goated, after seeing this video I've never been more confident. Always wondered if I should switch, but mixitup seems great now.

16:29 was the moment in this video I knew what was necessary lmaooooo
Streamerbot makes my stream crash, plus it won't save setting, and is buggy af! Thanks for making me feel validated!
Nice video pal, thanks for the other day too. Is this working on RUclips as well!?
Dang, I got called out at the end there. 16:24 - 16:36
I guess the secret's out about the 9AM ET video drop time. 😲

How hard would it be to get Streamerbot to work with Dlive?
04:17 "Why the stream is in sub-only mode, and why *NOBODY* can talk anymore." The self diss hits home 😭😭
Very useful but i still love streamerbot

I'm so confused why "Mix It Up" isn't mentioned in the conversation with the best Chat Bot.

The one that let me code in C# for sure
TBF, SAMMI has a test button function as well

Is touchportal out of the picture right now?
Touchportal is not a Chatbot. But I thinks too touchportal should be in this game
Not really in my rotation anymore. But nothing wrong with it if you prefer it.
If streamer bot didn’t pose a threat to my vision it wouldn’t be close. NIGHT MODE FFS PLEEEEEEASE!
i am actually on the node-red and chataigne i making myself app (:
Man I got called out hard at the end there wanting to be validated XD
Usaba Liorand boy con STREAMER bot ambos hacían cosas diferentes pero ya me arte de hacer todo a pie 😅😅😅 así que estaba pensando usar aitum 😂😂😂
What happened to touch portal

Neither one requires any knowledge of programming.
