It is a decent enough place but one has to wonder why there is no better wood design tradition in a country that actually has quite a lot of wood. Those fake balusters at the entrance and at the balcones, and the creaking built in cabinet at 15:23, are not acceptable if a place is at the very top of the price range.
Foreigners are allowed to buy and legally own condos in the Philippines. I rent a nice house for a reasonable price. It has a garden and nice shade trees which is great for all those brownouts. Also I installed a good generator in the garden. You don't get that capability with a condo. When the brownout comes and sun is bearing down on your condo you are trapped in misery. I wonder just how hot those hallways are. I have lived like that. You take a bath and feel all fresh to go out on a social and while you wait for the elevator you are drenched in sweat. Then there are the water shortages. I can store drums of water in my garden to get me through an emergency. Don't think that won't happen. Philippines is famous for natural disasters. December 2021 when Typhoon Odette hit we had 12 days of no power, no water. My friends in condos were checking into hotels, sitting on the floors in the Malls. Those condos look nice but just not so practical.

Gday Sir Edwin, the location of this condo is in Baguio city , The summer Capital of the Philippines, alllevation is 1,540 meters above sea level , average temp in the city is between 15 to 25 deg Celcius, thus, we dont need air conditioning in Baguio, in fact SM Baguio is the only shopping Centre in the Philippines without air conditioning
I need more information, I am looking to buy a condo in Baguio. What's better, condo or apartment? I really don't want to build a house.

10 M starting price that is too much. That is 200 thousand US dollar . You can buy a decent house with a yard in that amount in any states in the US rural or urban cities. For 200K US dollar you can have two bedroom condo in the city of Chicago. Or even lesser in othet states. Im just wonder why Philippines condo housing is so expensive. Nice video though. Thanks.
Its shockingly expensive in Baguio and the taxes are insane. You have a 12% VAT tax you pay at closing....i believe a 4.5% transfer tax and many sellers will try to pass their capital gains tax onto the buyer. Baguio is like the Hamptons in the America. You can easily spend 300k on up for a small lot here. The prices are unjustified here for what you get. The quality and area is much lower than the US but the prices are mich higher many instances. There are almost no foreigners here either so these are Filipinos paying these crazy prices. Almost forgot....the property taxes are also 3%. The vast majority of the US is 1%. This is pure government greed.

The problem is the building usually not last more than 60 years, around 40 years, there ll be problem coming out..but the condo is nice
