I like how crendor plays a deck to purposely kill himself for fun, and half the comments are complaints about how he should try to win. Gamers are so needlessly competitive now, it's really sad.
- Creates a deck revolved around killing one's self. - Plays versus new players who are so inexperienced that they kill themselves every game with every deck. How fun to watch..
I think the goal should be for you to do as much damage to yourself as possible (and not your opponent, which means lots of taunts and bad trades). A win is if you manage to do the full 30 damage!
Crendor, there is a better way to kill your hero than that! Simply click on the gear icon in the bottom right corner and then click concede. Brilliant!
I think a slightly more interesting deck idea is more of a double edged sword deck. Basically much the same thing but actually trying to kill the opponent with cards that are very like to hurt yourself as well. I guess it'd be similar to this but with negative deathrattle minions?
I'm thinking less immediate negative effects, compared to classic demon ones for the most part, and it doesn't have to be warlock as a class either, priest has possibilities as well. like the whole deck could be negative battlecry and deathreattle or other effect minions and whatever spells fit the bill but no silencing your own minions and doing your best to make a viable deck and win games. Good job on the witty quip with little thought towards the actual proposition though, of course "that's called playing warlock" as if there there's only one way to play any class.
Play against friend and reverse the rules of Hearthstone to: Whoever dies first wins. That way he wouldn't want to attack you, and you could try to stall him from dying before you do by healing him.
I think you might be able to do this faster with a priest. Auchenai soulpriest, shadowform, shadowbomber. With the auchenai out you can do 10 damage to yourself with holy fire :p Oh! Can you sacrificial pact your own jaraxxus? O.o
This could be a nice adventure match with a few tweaks. Goal: Player who kills themselves first wins. You take spell damage, recoil damage, aoe, battlecries, deathrattles and fatigue as normal. Next is debatable; if you are attacked by an opponent's minion, you heal for the same amount. (maybe you need to attack to activate a deathrattle?) Or, maybe keep as is and actually help your opponent to win? The reason why I think that if a minion attacks it heals you, is to provide a way for your opponent to do something to prevent you from winning rather than just giving up if you are vs an opponent who has the early game advantage. Possible PvP rules: If minions do not heal upon successful attack then play as normal, don't attack, and just pass the turn. If minion attack healing is implemented, what about going against control decks who can go into late game and just "heal" opponent while they take fatigue damage? maybe a heal cap? Heal opponent to __ hp and win? what if both stall and do nothing? if hp doesn't change in _ turns, the other player is the winner? Very rough idea but could be fun to try out.
Definitely the worst gimmick attempt so far. Where's the fun or creativity in just firing spells at yourself? This would be far better if you just used cards that also do damage to yourself but actually tried to win the game.
Make it so that the win conditions is doing more dmg to yourself than your enemy has, keep count of both. This way you will have to balance your deck around defending yourself while still doing dmg to yourself. Opening up loads of deck customisation possibilities to make it work better. This way you have to focus more on the board and have motivation to kill minions aswell as giving you an actual win condition.
This wasnt any good. What would have been more interesting is if you play to win but play with all the cards that are really good but have the downside of dealing damage to you. Like flame imp
TB drafted a deck like this in Lord of the Arena once, he had like 5 flame imps. He thought his early game would be godly and he'd just win like that. But he pretty much doomed himself to half health every game. He didn't do well that Arena run.
I think saving up isn't the way to go, intentionally hitting yourself any chance you can get seems to confuse people the most! Thus, the way to get the most interesting results is via hitting yourself constantly through the battle, otherwise they will think you're a hand lock or a newb.
Make it a "surprise molten giant" deck and Adda then demons that get buffed when you take damage. As well as some antique healbots. And it might be semi viable
I cannot believe I watched two matches of this, it is so dumb. I did it for you Crendor, and if I wasn't so tired, I would no doubt regret my decision.
I personally think the point of the deck should be to deal 30 damage to yourself, not letting the opponent get any damage on you but they still win. I feel like it would be a cool challenge idea
I think the goal should be that you have to get the last hit on yourself. If your opponent kills you, you lose. This also fits in well with the idea of doing as much as possible on one turn, because not doing so leaves you at low health on your opponent's turn and makes him more likely to get the last hit.
Today I've seen similar video from Kripparrian. He was playing against a friend and they were competing who can kill himself first. There was some serious strategy involved. :)
If you are trying to save up for one big hit to yourself, you might see if it's possible to make a warrior deck, and use the armor to conserve your health until you have the cards you need.
Given that his opponents are sub-rank 20 and playing junk like Goldshire Footman and Dalaran Mage, I certainly hope they don't get the impression that their decks are ok just because they won... >.
If this were anyone else, I'd interpret this as biting satire about competitiveness in the Hearthstone scene. But this is Crendor. I'm not sure he knows what satire is :P
I'm sure there's an optimal combo that will do the most damage to yourself in one turn. The rest do the cards should just be stall, draw, and ping damage to set it up and reach turn 10.
I think you should make a suicide deck, which is about taking no damage at all from your opponent, i.e. dealing 30 damage to yourself. Thinking about it, freeze mage (without the secets) would actually make a really good suicide deck.
Winning isn't everything, guys, and neither is challenge. Honestly, I think this deck is hilarious. You have fun, you confuse the hell out of people, and you give them free wins; what's not to like?
"You want the subtlety of killing yourself" *Shoots himself in the face on purpose*
I like how crendor plays a deck to purposely kill himself for fun, and half the comments are complaints about how he should try to win. Gamers are so needlessly competitive now, it's really sad.
***** Exactly! Its like they forget what gaming's all about these days -.-
+Real OGX YES
- Creates a deck revolved around killing one's self.
- Plays versus new players who are so inexperienced that they kill themselves every game with every deck.
How fun to watch..
Make a self-mill deck, you pick every card that draws cards.
Well, people already say crendor is a terrible player. He might as well do it easy for them, I guess.
When I clicked on the video he spelled seppuku sappaku. But when the page loaded it was fixed.
Very quick Crendor.
Very honorable! *KAMIKAZE!!!*
Crendor you don't have to do it. We can talk about this. Please we love you.
don't you mean sudoku?
No, no, seppuku is Japanese suicide.
Turtle Time And calling seppuku sudoku is a long ongoing internet joke.
Turtle Time You must be new to the internet.
Turtle Time Nope, definitely honorable Sudoku.
I think he means hadoken.
I think the goal should be for you to do as much damage to yourself as possible (and not your opponent, which means lots of taunts and bad trades). A win is if you manage to do the full 30 damage!
Thanks for making a deck in my honor
Seppuku Gaming ~ *stares suspiciously* ~
Well, that was strangely depressing lol
1. Get good enough early game/heals that you're in good health on turn 9.
2. Jaraxxys sacrificial pact.
Crendor, there is a better way to kill your hero than that! Simply click on the gear icon in the bottom right corner and then click concede. Brilliant!
Hey, *****, you know what would make this deck better?
Replace a few cards that don't do damage to you with a couple of molten giants.
Gerstrek ***** I think millhouse manastorm would make it better... Your opponent gets free spells to kill you faster !
Fox Kenai Ehh, even though he's the mighty Millhouse Manastorm, I don't think he's always going to be good for the opponent.
The deck should've been called Novice Warlock since all of his spells hurts himself.
Honorable Mitsubishi PogChamp
I think a slightly more interesting deck idea is
more of a double edged sword deck. Basically much the same thing but actually trying to kill the opponent with cards that are very like to hurt yourself as well. I guess it'd be similar to this but with negative deathrattle minions?
That's called playing Warlock
I'm thinking less immediate negative effects, compared to classic demon ones for the most part, and it doesn't have to be warlock as a class either, priest has possibilities as well. like the whole deck could be negative battlecry and deathreattle or other effect minions and whatever spells fit the bill but no silencing your own minions and doing your best to make a viable deck and win games. Clenchification commencing
its all about the subtelty
elven archers own face
The first game just proves crendors skill at making decks.
Nice idea, I've never seen this before >.>.
Wait.. How did you get to afford internet, when you can't even buy food without relying on an insurance payout?
Kalgert Hes stealing it from his neighbors.
Riley Tierney Well he better save up those pennies for a lawyer, because he is most likely gonna get the cops after him for wifi theft :D
Nice idea, but I think kripparian did it first
Oh Crendog, at 1:39 I witnessed history, You just beat Hearthstone! Congratulations... What will you do next?
Lower your health fast enough too play molten Giants for free
The goal is being killed on the earliest turn possible.
I can feel my brain cells dropping like flies already.
Kripp is in the process of making a deck like this as i type, well done crendor you have made a new game mode.
I tried this at rank ten and people kept conceeding. I went like 3/10 matches its was silly
Play against friend and reverse the rules of Hearthstone to: Whoever dies first wins.
That way he wouldn't want to attack you, and you could try to stall him from dying before you do by healing him.
This is how you know you've given up lol
I think you might be able to do this faster with a priest. Auchenai soulpriest, shadowform, shadowbomber. With the auchenai out you can do 10 damage to yourself with holy fire :p
Oh! Can you sacrificial pact your own jaraxxus? O.o
This is awesome. I would love to see a priest variant on this with Auchenai and Mind Spikes. A self mill deck might have potential stupidity as well.
Saw you mention this in the Co-Optional chat and had no doubt you would come through.
This could be a nice adventure match with a few tweaks. Goal: Player who kills themselves first wins. You take spell damage, recoil damage, aoe, battlecries, deathrattles and fatigue as normal. Very rough idea but could be fun to try out.
Well, at least there can't be many misplays with this one. Kappa
This def had me cracking up. Subscribed!
haha this is the kind of deck that brings the best out of Crendor :D love it !
Wasn't sure which side I was suppose to be rooting for this time.
Only Crendor could win a game with a suicide deck.
You need to have at least one Sacrificial Pact for the ultimate Seppuku combo of using it on yourself as Jaraxxus!
Definitely the worst gimmick attempt so far. Where's the fun or creativity in just firing spells at yourself? This would be far better if you just used cards that also do damage to yourself but actually tried to win the game.
That deck would actually be somewhat competitive.
I wanted to make a deck where you JUST CANT WIN with it. Something like 0 attack minons, a lot of buff spells
for the one-turn idea put the combo of ancestor's call -> malygos in your deck then blast yourself with a load of cheap shaman spells
Play the "Selfish Counting Cutter" deck. Goal, mitigate any incoming damage, while doing at least the damage of the round number to yourself.
Crendor, you are delightfully mad, sir.
You need to verse someone with the same deck, and see who can lose the fastest! xD
This deck would make alot of sense if you had molten giants in the deck as a win condition.
You have restored your honor.
I think this deck should be trying to win with as little health left as possible
This wasnt any good. What would have been more interesting is if you play to win but play with all the cards that are really good but have the downside of dealing damage to you. Like flame imp
The masochist deck!
Combine that with two Floating Watchers.
So, you're saying "change the deck and do this instead of a gimmick."
37thgungrunts Gimmick deck
TB drafted a deck like this in Lord of the Arena once, he had like 5 flame imps. He thought his early game would be godly and he'd just win like that. But he pretty much doomed himself to half health every game. He didn't do well that Arena run.

4:52 Force? Is that You?
Even when you set yourself the objective to do badly, you mange to do it badly ;) Don't ever stop being you Crendor ;)
Take this to the next Gimmick-a-thon!
You should throw a sacrificial pact in there. You can sacrificial pact yourself after you use jaraxxus
I think this would be even more fun with a player who is ALSO using this deck, seeing who can suicide faster
Make it a "surprise molten giant" deck and Adda then demons that get buffed when you take damage. As well as some antique healbots. And it might be semi viable
It's like hand lock without the hand :D
No? Handlock is a control deck relying on card advantage and unfairness.
I cannot believe I watched two matches of this, it is so dumb. I did it for you Crendor, and if I wasn't so tired, I would no doubt regret my decision.
You can sacrificial pact jaraxxus when he is your hero
I personally think the point of the deck should be to deal 30 damage to yourself, not letting the opponent get any damage on you but they still win. I feel like it would be a cool challenge idea
I think the goal should be that you have to get the last hit on yourself. If your opponent kills you, you lose. Up is now down, left is down right cats are dogs dogs are cats everything is -WRONG- perfect...
Best idea ever, how to make a fun Hearthstone video and manage to dodge all the backseat gamers complaining? Smart move, Crendor. Smart. Move.
How about putting Ancient Floater in the deck, and have it a goal to make it as big as possible.
I tried to make a pretty similar deck with floating watchers as the core. but i couldnt make it work properly
DMG TO SELF "YEAHHHH!!" DMG TO ENEMY "NAOOOO!!"
lel
I want to hear the other guys' reaction because I imagine its a lot of "lol.....what the fuck?"
You should try thougtstealing tree of live with a prist and then use it in combination with the soul prist that turns all your healing into damage
Why would you make a deck based around that japanese puzzle game?
this is the weirdest game of hearthstone iv see ever.
Tango is a drink, At least in Britain, dunno if its anywhere else.
A deck that ties might be at least slightly more fun in competitive.
I dont know why but while watching this video i got shiver o.O thanks dude :D
you could include sacrificial pact to combo with jaraxxus
This is the highest quality non-conent I have ever seen! That or the biggest cry for help
This had editing, so it is no longer non-content
ah yes now that's what i call performance art
What if you made a deck built to win at 1 life? Or it's like a challenge, you try to ladder with a deck and you can only with at 1 life.
Try playing a Mage deck without using any minions; only spells. I don't know if you've tried it yet, but I think it would be an interesting deck!
If you record with Fraps how do you edit? (Like which editing software)
I want more of the seppuku deck
warlock? suicide? jaraxxus? no sacrificial pact?
Next you should try overdraw deck! Put all the cards that draw and mill yourself as fast as you can!!
Given that his opponents are sub-rank 20 and playing junk like Goldshire Footman and Dalaran Mage, I certainly hope they don't get the impression that their decks are ok just because they won... >.
Molten giants would be so great in this :v
The goal should be who give more damage to you, your opponent or you.
He goes through such a long thought process as of how he will kill himself
crendor you shode make a draw back deck, like anima golem, arcane golem, fel reaver, etc IT WOULD BE AWSOME
I think you should make a suicide deck, which is about taking no damage at all from your opponent, i.e. dealing 30 damage to yourself. Thinking about it, freeze mage (without the secets) would actually make a really good suicide deck.
Why not put the watchers in there and make a buff up the watchers deck?
Could this be the stupidest deck idea ever? Probably
Winning isn't everything, guys, and neither is challenge.
Honestly, I think this deck is hilarious. You have fun, you confuse the hell out of people, and you give them free wins; what's not to like?
I think the goal should be to make every match a draw (If a draw is possible in Hearthstone)
could put a few molten giants in there and then take them out for 0 mana when your hp is low
Play against Jesse or TB who have to use the same deck and see who dies first?
