- This is Massimiliano Ferrati playing Chopin's 1st Ballade in G-minor. This performance is kind of weak, in my humble opinion. It lacks the Gusto, the .. UMPH that other performances have had.

I have heard hundreds of versions of this Ballade, and this is the best. Just amazing.
Absolutely incredible! The best recording of this piece ever!
recording quality isn't top notch, but the playing is. he seems to understand the arc of this piece better than most.
Recorded 1997
This rendition stirs me every time I listen. Horowitz is always superb, but his rendition is too sterile. This rendition is as I imagine it should be when I try to play it - an expression of the heart.
Fantastic
wow...
he is an AWESOME piano player~!!
wow...
my eyes are just glued to his fingers~!!
Whoa, I wish I could play like that
Incredible!
rushes alot in the begining, but you have to give him credittt
Recorded 1997 the sound could be better.
I think the playing is excellent.
he playes well, but i hate it when he thinks so much of himself raising his head at the slow parts
i think he resolved way to late in the 7th minute
muy bueno, pero me quedo con la versión de zimerman...
bit excessive eh, that head thing. Bit excessive in describing it sparklark, bit excessive a response parker 002
technically alright, i guess. not my favourite interpretation. bit too loud and fast. wheres the goddamn feeling? i actually got bored of the constant barrage of noise he projects throughout most of it.
just my opinion, as always.
