The good thing about DSPs is that you can set the exact frequency you want for each component. And people say they're hard to work with but they're really not hard I didn't know how to use them, and I put two in my car and learned really fast.
Hi Mousetrap love your channel, I'm a new sub. I have a question for you. When you're setting up super tweeters do you run them with the same wattage as your mid-range and mid-bass speakers in your doors?
The system looks loud AF. The only thing is he needs ferrels on the wires going into the amps. Hate seeing exposed wire but the door panels look good. I'm definitely a dsp guy but watching all your videos it doesn't surprise me you prefer the old school crossover style 🙂
Nobody would put 10 or 12 inch woofer's in their doors if they didn't like a lot of bass. The cross overs just need to be set correctly, they will be fine. Playing hip hop music you really need that bass.
Issue with habor freight is they typically don’t last long even with their “higher end models” trust me I had a cen-tech it was good up until last year!
For $9k you can get a way cleaner and clearer setup than that. Them subs are 🔥 but the rest is low mid. With all them Taramps , he'd better have a fire extinguisher close by.
There is absolutely no way to control the cancellation in that car NONE...The air volume inside the car can't handle half the woofers and subs he has in there. DPS, polarity flips, door deadening, acoustic panels...I don't care what is done that car with never ever have good imaging or balanced sound...SPL will be great but the over all sound will be trash...
That is a mess. Different speakers. Lots of amp gd amps. N sound crap. I only hav 4/ 10 " ev. N 2/ 4" driver . Hiting 2/ taramps 3000 ×1 n loud ass heck. 1block away still heard it clear
Not a fan of taramps yea I know you can use a dsp to adjust the crossover on the subwooferbass to hit lower bass but when you compare to an amp that already has the crossovers set lower 40 hz than that of the taramps 80hz it's just sounds better.

DSP is a good way to go just get one with bluetooth so you can use it on your phone too.

You should have kept the dsp in ,its verry useful for fine tuning mid,midhigh,and midbass
Great job bro 💯 but I was hoping to see you use the voltmeter on tuning the amplifiers so I can see how the taramps are done the right way
Never tune an amp with a multimeter ALWAYS use either an OSCILLOSCOPE or SMD DD-1+
The right way is Def a dd1+ and a cc1 to tune a amplifier.
What kind of electrical is he running with all those amps???

midbass needs a port for air and not seal, HighMid can work in a seal box. its a 4 way set up

No way, his battery would be dead in a heartbeat. The voltage would also drop to low and taramps are really bad with low voltage

does amplifier you have a class D amplifier cannot play compression driver You need class AB amplifier for compression driver
