Hargeisa and Mogadishu temperatures at noon are very close, but what makes the difference is the humidity. Mogadishu is tropical and has lots of humidity and it feels 6-8 degrees hotter; while Hargeisa is dry heat with minimum humidity and that makes it breezy and 6-8 degrees cooler.
The humidity is caused by the water xamar is a coastal city

That building is what remains of the cathedral Church of Mogadishu - Cattedrale di Mogadiscio, built in 1928.

That broken and old building you showed from the window of the restaurant is a former Catholic cathedral that was built during the Italian occupation of Southern Somalia.
I'm going back next month 😀 the mindi restaurant was under construction last year, we rented an apartment in the 2floor and staff were great, the receptionist ( yasmin) and cabdinasir the manager

2:30 Cattedrale di Mogadiscio, aka Mogadishu Cathedral. built 1928 by Italian colonial authorities. the building was destroyed in 2008, but is a signifant part of the colonial history in Muqdisho.

That was the church that we built. It was active until 1991.

Cleanliness is of utmost importance in Islam. Very strange seeing very pious men and women walking around in what appears to be a dirty city. What is it with us Somalis? It’s the same in Mogadishu, Hargeisa, Djibouti and even Eastleigh in Nairobi. Time for a mass cleanup.

@@roblemohamed9681 I am left handed and I polish my nails, and when I cook I try not to use my hands but utensils a food processors to chop up my spices. I was forced as a child to use my right hand and I just couldn't adopt to it, so be it. With computers I can use both hands.
I only write with my left hand when in my journal or I sign my name. I want to go to Somali land there in a section where Somalis who were born in the west live.
