No volunteers for a real live demonstration? I was waiting for your wife to test it on you. Not shooting the prongs just a little bump with it.😂😂 thanks for another great video. I didn't think civilians could get the ones that shoot prongs.
Looks like a great way to halt and freeze an attacker in their tracks for 30 seconds. Can it still shock an attacker if they have a thick sweater or several articles of clothing or do the prongs only have a certain depth of range of attachment?
My girlfriend and I want a non lethal option to carry since we moved and don’t want to carry a firearm all the time, would you say the Bolt 2 is a better option than the Taser 7 CQ outside of the price? I would think 30 second effective time is the best but it’s so much cheaper that I’m confused by it has a similar safe distance but such a longer time
The Bolt's advantage is its form. It looks like a flashlight and has a white body. I've carried the Pulse and been questioned about it being a firearm. With the Bolt, there hasn't been a problem.
No it's NOT a one time use,, you just drop in another cartridge and you are good to go. It can also be used as a stun gun. However using it as a taser is more effective because it locks up all the muscles in the body
Same here lol the instructions say to run away but hell no! I am staying right with the subject until the cops arrive. Especially since the Bolt 2 calls the cops for you, that's less work I have to do while I keep eyes on the subject. Just keep on lighting them up!
@@ericpettway72 Lol I am psycho when it comes to my personal safety! I don't own a gun because it's just too much paperwork/restrictions here in NJ. I carry pepperspray, a Bolt 2, and a knife. If my Taser happened to run out of battery while I am recycling the shocks, then I will stab them to death 😁
@@ericpettway72 They only want criminals to be armed here. Plain and simple! I mean theoretically I could go through all the hoops but I'm the type of person who loses interest if I go through too much trouble for something. Not only that but I really don't wanna be hassled by jumpy cops pulling me over. I feel secure with the weapons I do carry and train with them when I can. Tasers are excellent devices but you have to train with them.
So the barbs and stun gun operate simultaneously? Or is it barbs first, then the stun gun after you eject the spent cartridge? Also, is assailant disabled only while you let the unit automatically zap the full 30 second cycle, or can you slide the safety back on after launching barbs prior to 30 seconds and leave wires with assailant while you take the unit and run ?
They operate together for 30 seconds, after that 30 seconds you can pull the trigger for an additional 30 seconds. You should drop the taser and leave it where it is during the 30 seconds. Get a police report and taser will replace it for free
I gotta say the bolt 2 looks pretty cool, wish they kept making the pulse though. Only thing im not a fan of, the bolt 2 kinda sorta looks like a pocket pussy. Lol.
With one probe in, if the assailant comes near you, press and hold down the trigger to activate the stun electricity between the probes while touching the assailant to complete the circuit - ideally 18-24 inches away from the inserted probe to cause Neuro Muscular Incapacitation. If the distance is less than 1 foot between the probe and your contact point, it will certain be painful but not result in NMI.
Both are very effective the Bolt has a continuous shock for 30 seconds versus the 5 second continuos shock for the other L.E taser. The Bolt run around $450
Awesome…looks like an effective “less than lethal” tool..for sure…TFS…Salute!!!🍃🍃🍃
Thanks, yes it's very effective!
Great review and thanks for posting and for standing up for our 2A
Thank you for demonstrating it
You are welcome!
Great as always.
Thanks!
I was worried about leaving the Taser but a Free Replacement is a good solution because that Taser is expensive
Yep leave it, get a police report and they will send you a new one!
Do I have to leave it
No
The punny intro made my day! Thanks for the great video.

And the civilian one has a nice beat to it!😁
Lol
Nice 🔥
Have a good week sir
Thank you and you as well!

The prongs are a decent link. However really thick jackets can restrict the effect. You have options....Face, legs and etc. Is still an effective area

Go with the longer time.
The Bolt's advantage is its form. It looks like a flashlight and has a white body. I've carried the Pulse and been questioned about it being a firearm. With the Bolt, there hasn't been a problem.
So is this a one and done use? Or do you just input a new cartridge after use?

Lol honestly if I had to use it, I'd really think about hitting the button again and maybe again. 😁

Lol, was in Jersey a few months ago....yeah the gun laws there are very scary!

What if only one of the prongs connects on the target? looks like it spreads out when you shoot it
Yes they spread out. You can drive stun them with the unit itself and take them down

How much that one sir? And who among of those is effective?

The Bolt run around $450
Does this taser require a license?
No license required
