      This just reinforces my thought that unfortunately FOR ME after all the major system changes crafting/Skillsandperks/Trader. This game is unplayable without mods

      As a console guy I raged about stuff that did not matter...that TFP were ignoring consoles ahead of a re-launch for console. They have centered on PC because they NEED you to not see what is happening...this is a console game now. Let it sink in...they have known since 2019 they were going to stop making a PC game and start streamlining to get what they had on console. This is not a PC game anymore...and they knew it when they made you dance like monkeys over Alpha changes. (sorry)

    While grabbing a drink I thought of an analogy for how the fun pimps do things. You go to a coffee shop, called Fun Pimps, and you order an iced coffee, called 7 Days to Die (why, i don't know), and so they make it and hand it to you. You take one sip and realize that, while it does have all the right parts to BE an iced coffee, they've not mixed it well at all and there's even a few flavors in there that you didn't ask for or want. Well, you can't stir it up or ask them to redo it, cause they're glaring at you with guns drawn telling you to like the iced coffee the way THEY like it to be, or else go somewhere else- but there is no where else, except that one place called Project Zomboid but its very different. Its more Tea than Coffee. Its a preference thing.
    But the thing the fun pimps haven't realized yet is that they're in full release now. They can't do extreme game changes anymore. They can't release an almost entirely new game every "patch". Else nothing has changed and the full release thing was simply to appease the masses. But it wont appease us. Not for long.

    My first impression with the change was that they're taking loot off the table. It's like they're making a looter shooter and forgetting that you need loot for that.

    I'll just stick to the latest A21 Darkness Falls mod, last time i switched to vanilla was when they had the learn by looting update, it was fine for one playthrough but everytime i start a new world i was bored out of my mind, and a lot of the new POI's where designed with auto trigger rooms , or have zombies spawn in behind you, ruining any stealth build I invested in. And stealth is the one thing in this game that had me invested.

    subquake's undead legacy will likely fix a lot of these issues. but some of that will depend on how much of the armor rework is hard coded vs being something we can change in the xml files.

      It's just sad that we have to use overhaul mods to make it into the game they actually developed it to initially be 10 years ago. They developed it as a survival game & now suddenly it's a looter rpg with absolutely no story at all.

    At least we have a wonderful mod community to "fix" any of the nonsense they put in the base game. Yeah, I know its not what all the community wanted but it's their game ("much pain in that statement")

    I'm looking forward to the new character models and what modders do with it. In this game, no one did character mods because the characters were crap. Thanks for all the videos

    playing this game post-alpha 16 is like banging my head on a wall. each update is 1 step forward and 2 steps back. i miss my action skills

      @@deaddrop3772 The sleeper system was implemented in alpha 16 but there were still a lot of wondering zombies around the world. And plenty of wandering hordes as well, alpha 18 onwards is where the number of wondering zombies started to really dwindle

      ​@@shoresy4084sleepers came with a17 as far as I remember, hence a17 is also known as the worst of all alphas, since they spawned right in your face in this first iteration. A17 was really terrible and also the simplification and dumbing down started with a17. That's when they took out weapon parts and combining at the workbench and got rid of learning by doing

    It's a dumb change. You're absolutely right about it being a Skyrim style, magic buff that doesn't fit the rest of the game. At least with the clothing and armor mods, you're physically putting something in and out of the slots to dynamically make a choice. New version is silly. Looking forward to having to find multiple sets of armor and contantly have to change into them depending on what task I need to do, on top of min-maxxing drugs for buffs too, because the point of doing that is so you spend *less* time doing chores like digging, mining etc.

      @@summonerkittycat9525 you could argue that it's a drug that calms your nerves, makes your hands steady so you don't snap your lockpick. This one isn't the most agriegious tbh. The silliest drug is the one that makes your guns do 20% more damage, unless you headcanon it to mean you're applying some sort of caustic salve onto the bullets directly.

      Find me the whole point is you're able to unlock anything You're going to need a different literally different types of lock picking knowledge you know when you're picking things an ATM is going to be different than a gun safe and while gun safe and a wall safe are going to be around the same thing You're still going to have to do with doors which are a little bit different you know but again it's you know not just about having steady hands you know if that was the case you could just they could just implement something to make a sturdier you know lockpick you know it's just like I'm yeah I'm just going to eat this candy which you can get from a vending machine so you know it's just literally like sugar sugar butts and stuff like that we can consider it to be a candy you know it's just like I'm going to eat this and then I'm going to be able to lock pick everything like okay if it does come your nerves you can still easily just snap the lockpick like yeah it's not going to be like you know from your hand shaking but after a while you're just going to get to the point where you're like you know just fed up to where you're just you know trying to go faster and you snap the lock pic that way

      @@summonerkittycat9525 the suspension of disbelief happens when the game devs say that picking all those different locks can be done with a lockpick. In universe it's consistent, mainly because devising some sort of unique lockpicking mechanic for every possible scenario detracts from the fact this is meant to be a zombie apocalypse, horde, survival, crafting game, not a lockpicking simulator. There's probably 3 people in the world that would want TFP to make lockpicking different for every type of lock, because that would be a complete waste of everybody's time.

    Main thing I am excited for is the new POI's, I really have no complaints against the POI's most are very well done only main thing I hate is the triggers in them where zombies just spawn breaks immersion and can making clearing quests especially painful due to missing these events cause of multiple paths being available the Shamway and Shotgun Messiah factories are notorious for this BS.

    I tought by adding new armor they added new skill abilities for other classes... Doing the Axes or chainsaws // Picks or Mining drill viables to fight, new weapons for classes... Honestly I still like the designs, but I would love to see more weapons for each classes.

    The thought of having to swap entire armor sets each time I do a different activity is irritating and exhausting. And the cloth “rebalance” sounds like a nightmare. I’ll try to stay positive, but it ain’t sounding good.

    As someone who just recently picked up the game, I'm interested to see what the new system brings. I hope that it brings variety, and the models seem better at least. Give me a few months and maybe I'll be half as jaded as some of you, lol.

      I'm new as of this year & I'm already jaded!
      Got about 1k hours of playtime, because I had months of healing from major surgery & this helped pass the time.
      When you get jaded, just look up for modders who have everything from little "quality of life" mods to complete overhaul mods. I recommend AuroraGiggleFairy mods; I've been very pleased with her mods & she will be updating for 1.0. 😉

    Personally, I feel like this kind of throws a wrench into progression, like weapons, armors were tiered and represented progressing in the game like weapons did, now you have a bunch of different outfits of different kinds that provide different random effects that you’ll just have to min-max? It feels awkward and off. Also this means that most clothing/armor has no effect on cold or warmth values to my knowledge, so you’re really gonna be relying on that fortitude perk if you want to spend time in the snow or the desert.

    Personally I am quite excited for the changes. I understand that many people don’t care for the fact that the game as a whole has gone into a more RPG style of game than a survival one but I genuinely find the gameplay to be more enjoyable this way. The nature of such a shift in philosophy is bound to make many people upset, which I do understand. For those who want a more survivalist experience with this game, I recommend the Afterlife overhaul, it has a very heavy emphasis on survival mechanics. As for the reduction in customization (less clothing and no dyes) I don’t really care about that since the armor was ugly as sin anyway and the dyes didn’t look good on hardly anything. Armor and clothing seemed like the most out of date mechanic to me so this overhaul is incredibly welcome, even if we lose a fair amount of customizability.

      Fact is these boomers made a survival sandbox game that they pulled an EA/Activision/Ubisoft move by turning it into whatever is popular at the moment game type.
      We shouldn't HAVE TO use mods to play the game these devs initially intended it to be. If they wanted a looter shooter/rpg then go make a separate game. You don't completely revamp your 10yo survival game into whatever "the youngins are playing nowadays." It just makes them look like goobers trying to mold their game & their company into a AAA developer which players are seriously turning on en masse lately because of crap exactly like this.

      @@bhart3321 I see where you are coming from and perhaps I live under a rock or something, but I don’t recall a time where looter shooters were sweeping the market. Certainly that type of game is probably more popular with younger audiences, which in turn are also a larger demographic, but I don’t think the shift was done just to hop on a trend. If anything it’s probably a shift that happened because some of the devs are quite fond of the fallout franchise. I think if they really went the greedy AAA developer route they would have made the game some sort of hero shooter or battle royale or extraction shooter. While I can concede that the fun pimps have made some poor or shortsighted decisions, I do think the shift in core gameplay is probably a change made because they decided they wanted to make a different game during the 13+ year long development hell this little fundraised game has been going through.

    Wrenching things like beds gives you tons of cloth. I'm not too worried about it. That and cotton plants are everywhere if you have respawn turned off.

    The main issues as far as I see them will be:
    - Cloth economy (like you said)
    - Crafting options (i.e. at which level are the armour sets unlocked and what kind of parts and how many of them do you need?)
    - As the agility tree will have the medium armour perk, will there be a light armour perk and where will it appear?
    - Overall balance - how dogshit will the primitive armour be?

    The main thing that I don't like about the change is that it now encourages you to save items slots for different types of armor in order to min/max your current objective. We are going to be overencumbered more often now as we have to run around with 2/3 sets.

    It does seem like 7DTD has slowly become a poorly implemented Looter Shooter RPG with bits of Survival sprinkled here and there. At least the mods make the game barely enjoyable.

    Not only can you not dye clothes, and there are less slots, and less total options, but you also can't mix the pants or shirts around since they are all a singular outfit, which is really stupid. You can't mix and match tops or go topless at all without being basically nude.
    I see this as a homogenizing force, personally, because now in the mines, everyone will be wearing the mining outfit, chopping trees, everyone will be wearing the lumberjack outfit, at the trader, the enforcer outfit.. etc etc etc... it makes your choice in clothing depend on the situation, not your preferences. AND you're going to have to carry like 3 or 4 sets of gear with you at all times and switch them out manually.
    The worst part is in ADDITION to that, they removed almost all the customization options in the character creator and so now all you can choose from is a bunch of generic presets and a few bare bones options like hair color, eye color, skin color, and beard.. This means that my character that I have now that looks just like me and is fat and hairy just like me can no longer be played. I'll be forced to be a Brendan Frasier look-a-like or a Ken doll. I hate it. I don't want to look like a fucking G.I.Joe.. but that's apparently all they have now.
    You can't be short, you can't be skinny, you can't be fat, you can't be extra tall, you basically have to use a generic action figure with a generic face and that's about it. This is a massive downgrade as far as I am concerned. Now my character will never look like me again. Nor can I realistically play with whatever outfit I like the most. Trust me.. this is going to make everyone look exactly the same.

    This is now my favorite video of yours. I agree with your overall opinion although I would sum it up as "the new armor system absolutely blows goats." Your analysis certainly provides more depth. I appreciate you pointing out the positives which I admittedly wasn't seeing - great job. Srsly. K, now to continue Darkness Falls Appreciation Weekend.

    I really just don’t understand why they ever got rid of learn by doing. All of these changes are patch fixes that all tie back to them getting rid of learn by doing for other limited skill systems. And before people tell me “It’s because people were exploiting the system!!”, there were better ways to fix the exploiting without changing the whole damn system. They could’ve added diminishing returns on XP for crafting the same item over and over for the day as an example

      Why I think the reading by you know like learn by ring system is good I think it should be for certain things like yeah you're going to get better at like they should keep the learn by doing things as well like your you know if you're mining you're going to get better at mining yell because you're learning where to hit rocks to break them open faster or y'all coming down tree you're able to you know spot like the weak points on the trees and stuff but still like just by using a gun you're not going to learn how to you know make you know like if you're using a pipe machine gun you're not going to know how to make an AK you know so they should at least keep the books that you know be like here's how you make a you know like in AK then as you read more of that book you're like oh okay now I know how to make the AK you know better so you know it's not feel like it's going to fall apart when I'm full autoing it you know like I do believe that they should keep both just you know make it so like you can like you know if you want to make better weapons guns and stuff like that you have to find the bugs so you can learn okay this is you know like how I can make an you know like okay this how I can make an ax head so you you know you can learn how to make you know a fire ax or whatever you know or like okay this is how I make you know you're learning like okay this is how I built something you know like they should keep the learn by doing stuff but they should have kept that as well as app you know use the books just for like leveling like how to make weapons and such

      "people were exploiting the system" ==> TFP can't let people have fun. They want their game played in THEIR way. They dont add features, weapons, they keep changing game mechanics that create different issues for the players who will work their way around it, and next thing you know TFP will AGAIN change the game mechanics so that "players play OUR way".

    Honestly, ever since I bought the game in alpha 16.4 I felt like I didn't really like a lot of the changes, including stuff, like simplifying the car/motorcycle crafting, the removal of "use a skill to level it up" system replaced by now by the skill books, and tbh. even some things most people like, like the new dungeon style POI system. They felt great at first, but over time I started to dislike it more and more for 1 thing, it makes the game REALLY artificial and this might be my biggest problem with the game it became way too artificial for an open world survival game. Almost every zombie in a POI is hiding behind furniture, inside a closet, on top of a breakable roof piece or just spawns in at the exact moment you enter a room, this is not how zombies supposed to be. Loot stages and even trader stages are now a thing where you cannot find good loot by random and just have to make do with shitty weaponry until you gain more XP and loot stage, again very artificial. I know the purpose of it, but I still dislike it. I could go on and on nitpicking a lot of things and changes I don't like, including the water system and now this new armor system, but what's the point? They do what they want, and I had my fun with the game, still do to an extent, but I still feel like I fell out of love with it and moved on.

      That is because you are a minority the average player does enjoy these things, 7 days for example has been doing well ever since it started. Helldiver 2 had an actual problem when the devs wanted to make actual bad changes. Not only that, but on the Internet, you will find only things that will only appeal to your preference or be the total opposite die to how they work. So it becomes easy to lose grip on what people say. There was people saying, "The water system is going to kill the game" and you can't even see where it happened on the steam chart even if your life was on the line. This trend does happen in many games, and many times, just very few changes are actually bad

      I found the building aspect to be the most enjoyable, but to enjoy building, I have to turn off zombies because otherwise I have to do different character builds to fight stupid spawning, especially in POIs (which I'd rather loot for building materials).
      And I only started playing this year! The great variety of buildings I've seen from older versions are no longer viable options.

      @@CS-zb3ff Well I'm a veteran, bought the game in 2013 before it was on Steam, have over 6000 hours in it and have played all versions of the game.
      I turn off the horde, because it forces me to build a certain way, but I try and play the game legit most of the time. Sometimes I do turn off Z's and just use fly mode and spawn in whatever I want, to basically turn the game into a box of endless Lego's.
      I guess ignorance is a bliss, because this game used to be learning by doing, no stupid perks, no stupid skills, no stupid magical items with stat bonuses, what they're doing is the most lazy form of game development, making the game "harder" by slowing every step of progress down!
      Now I'm just waiting for the game to be done, so I can mod it back to what it used to be! Don't get me wrong lots of improvements I like too, more POI's, more block types, better graphics, paint, improved random generator, better physics, more vehicles.

      @@ChePennyDK , I hear you. I kind of wish I knew when the game was somewhat decent, but then I'd probably just be more mad at what it's become.
      When I read it was a "sandbox game," I assumed it meant I could play freely how *I* want to play.... guess that's not what it meant though.
      So, I turn off enemies and I build and remodel, because that's really fun for me and something I've never tried in any game before. I wish they'd add more "paint" textures.
      Yes, mods are my friends. Especially a good HUD where I can see all pertinent info quickly, instead of squinting at tiny, 2-3 pixel high lines of colors that blend with the background. I've heard the HUD used to be the way I prefer it and have it modded now. I've heard how much "substance" has been gutted from the game, and that's a shame.

    I started playing 3 days ago.
    First thing I thought when I saw separate slots for clothes and armour as well as the coat slot, and separate slots for eye/mouth cover was "Oh damn, so many slots! I can make a really cool looking character with this unlike most games these days"
    Then I find out putting the cap mod on my helmet makes the thing disappear and look like a hat, and the leather overcoat makes my chestplate invisible????? Lovely, now I look like a hobo instead of the NCR ranger I should look like with full Iron Armour plus Leather Overcoat.
    And their fix for this mess is to remove the whole customization alltogether and go for the classic "4 slots, take it or leave". It's doing their CG artist a disservice, sitting on all those perfectly servicable meshes and textures only to make 90% of them obsolete through bad balancing or gating them behind a special magazine that has like a 3.7% chance of appearing on traders, and removing the items completely in 1.0

    correct me if im wrong but didnt they say at some point that there will be a system where you can make armor pieces look like ones from other sets so you can keep the stats and still have the visual you want or am i imagining things.

    If I go back to alpha 16 and forget graphics, idk how much better state the game is past 7 ( seven yes! SEVEN years).

    honestly.. yea, these cons are valid and fair.
    as someone who likes to try and be creative with color combos on clothing in current 7days.. So yea, not being able to dye your armor is very bad in my book.
    I like the armor sets over all, but I really hope they add back so you can dye the armor.. otherwise so have they shot themself in the foot again.
    I am going to wait until the stable version is realest before I try it.
    Not interested in playing an experimental version.
    Overall when it comes to the FP.. so do I personally have an more sceptic and more pessimistic view of them. I don't trust anything until I myself have tried the stable version.

    7:30 The point that this armour rework relies on there NOT being only one or two best options in armour sets that are so much better than the others is actually really important, and one that I haven't really seen people touch upon. Considering the devs' track record, it's safe to assume they won't balance the bonuses well (at least in the beginning) and there will end up being only a couple of sets which people use, which will negate some (not all) of the pros people are arguing will come from this rework.

    What is so great about clothes now. I really just put clothes on to not be naked. I love how clothes are more meaningful and theres not 15 article of clothing to put on that do pretty much nothing. Also they had to replace the clothes with the new models. Going from a ps2 character to a modern day character is a massive improvement that warranted a clothing rework. Having less clothing slots and a set bonus helps the art direction stay intact.

    In the cloth department is not that hard to obtain cloth as you can get it from beds, curtains, cloth and drapes on the floor of houses and general POIs, some furniture items are made of cloth like some Sofas or chairs, also there are blinds that are either polymers or cloth, you know the poke it with a stick and see what happens? well do the same but with the stone axe.
    Pro tip whenever you get a wrench, dismantle beds with it, same goes for bed frames, you get a lot of materials with it, including a lot of cloth.

    It makes sense that the right outfit gives you buffs to certain things. I don’t think all of the buffs make sense for the outfits.
    But wearing mining gear to go mining is going to make you better at mining. Better than wearing a full kit of football armor, at any rate.
    Same thing for several of these outfits. I’m not sure they all fit in smoothly- but at least half of them make sense.
    I think it’s too early to be this harsh on the change without having played with it, beyond seeing the dev streams.

    something tells me i'm going to be waiting for the modders to put clothing back into the game, or add all the stats to one piece of gear like the "one glasses"... cause i'd get tired of having to swap to X gear to go do Y job. and then getting home and changing into Z gear for whatever else. urgh.

    I am un-clear on the armor of 1.0, will we have to carry multiple armor sets on our person or vehicle storage compartment when out and about or will the system allow us to carry only 1 set that is custom parted based on the skills or perks each player chooses to suit their own gameplay style ???...as a solo player when I am out on a loot run or trader mission I will do multiple tasks to prep for later game scenarios and base builds, such as while traveling to and from a mission I will mine and loot ect, instead of only being focused on one task only at a time. I can see how the new system can be fruitful for a multiplayer game since you could have each person assigned to a set task or craftwork and thus the armor set appropriate for the task or profession, but I do not see how this can work well for a solo player.

    thy probably gone go the way of division , and it is to me a change for the worse , stats build on rng and random drops on rng . it is a change for the worse old is better . i dont get it why thy do this shit ; i guess thy well do dlc drops whit new armor stats like in division and a new location somewhere on the map . thy nerf the armor and the way you make money whit it , you no longer well be able to boost the money of selling a fully mod'd armor to the trader . so to me again a change for the worse .
    the old way will still be the better way . i never give a f for multi player it is a zombie game not pvp armor grind game as division . yeah i don't give a f about what thy did . or only goal is now gone be getting good armor rolls where you use to just make it .

    if they put enough effort into this it might just work.
    Current clothing system does have bit of clipping issues and certain clothes wont render if you wear certain armor parts (glasses if you wear scrap helmet or any chest armor if you wear a jacket), due to these issues it would be pain to rework them to fit new character models and adding any new armor or clothes harder since they have to take account all the layers and existing clothes into account. The new 4 slot system will probably be easier to update and they could potentially expand the armor cosmetics beyond just dyes, maybe even make it so armor mods will change the looks of the armor similar to how weapon mods effect the look of weapons (just imagine these armors with many different styles and even the potential to show your alliance in pvp).
    However i do agree with the set bonus, sure it's cool but i hate the idea of missing out on buff when i just want to look stylish or the idea of being unable to identify those friends who wear the same armor for the buff, also the fact that we got limited number of 16 sets sucks a bit and of course the idea of having to spend more time fidling with your inventory because your current set has no use at the moment then having to swap back to it later. The biggest question i have is; will we get clothing in the style of the traders and potentially sets based of the bandits when they finally make it to game? i better be able to have choice if i want to look like a npc (and potentially get shot by my friends) rather than be stuck with clothes unique to the players.

    I am hopeful that the stats given by the pieces allow for you to minmax for different builds and that'll help with variance. Sadly we can't know until we see it even if we know the track record is poor with changes across versions.
    Hopefully it actually ends up fine, if not we always have mods and the old versions

    Water is a great addition. More more more survival to the game and less less less trader stuff and quests. Perhaps a main loot catche only spawns in a poi if it's a quest. Otherwise I can loot several pois in the time it takes to go back and forth the trader. Plus the survival emersion becomes better when you can roam free, nomadic, exploration and not just hug near a trader and go back and forth from there constantly.

    I'd say that most people will only really care about 3 armor sets: one heavy for protection (mostly horde night) one medium/light for mobility and one mining suit cuz duh.
    I suppose if you're doing a no horde base playthrough then you can skip the heavy armor altogether and just keep running

    I am less concerned about the armor revamp, as I am about TFP's additional attempts at 'slowing the game progression'. Why? Because TFP do not understand the different between making a game stupidly grind-y vs tuning progression. Lowering trader rewards, fine it did need to happen compared to high tier crafting. Making is so you get less resources, less dukes, and ramping up the zombies per horde & POI? That is probably not going to be an enjoyable progress for the game.

    I maintain the new armor set bonuses should of been integrated as sets of mods we could slot. Maybe this has potential for a modder to run with.
    One positive for me, as a fan of multiplayer and multiplayer let's plays, the player models were due for an upgrade. The environment and zombies got love over the updates, but players I think have barely changed, at least since I got here in A16.
    I do really wish the approach was a little less heavy handed.

    Nice video, always like to hear your point because I'm kind of a pompom boy regarding the evolution of this game :D
    I like this armor change, makes more sense to me.
    This specialization has started a few alphas before, when they dispatched general perks like sexy trex into specialized "per weapon" perks.
    And having an item that you just have to wear (and find, yeah) seems more flexible than spending precious points into miner 69er when you go light armor build. Yes, forgettin' elixir, but I don't like it, never used that shit.
    But we also lose some flexibility. I like to go intellect / light armor. The nerd armor is now a heavy armor. It's currently my biggest grief.
    The big question is, will we find a lot of armor pieces in loot ? How strongly tied to the points we spent will it be ?
    Because on the crafting side, if you don't spend points in 69er and want to craft this miner armor, you need to read the magazines, and to get the magazines, you need to put points in... miner 69er.
    About cloth, yeah, best source was savage country, scrap an entire store and you're good for the rest of your playthrough. But curtains give some cloth, cotton and carpet store too. I hope they raised the amount of ressources we gather from these, they're everywhere. They talked about new pallets. Maybe a cloth one in a clothes factory ? A little bit like big rolls of paper we can get in the crack a book skyscrapper ?

    As a storyteller/roleplayer, any update to a game that limits (in this case, severely limits) the ability to customize your character, especially at the beginning, is a bit of a kick in the teeth. Now all my characters will have to start with the same backstory - left for dead in their tighty whities - but I digress.
    From a gameplay perspective, as a fan of RPG games, I'm sure I'm going to like this new system, but I will withhold my full judgment until I can get some decent hours into 1.0 and test it for myself organically.

    The running track record just puts there up there with read to learn instead of do to learn and water becoming the most aggravating change since I can only assume the eradication of sliced bread. I also think the magical set bonus shouldn't be a thing as it limits even further peoples creativity if they're looking to not feel like they've fallen behind by missing out on the extra skill.

    While I'm not a fan of the new armor system, I'm not sure if I agree with you on the new armor system, but it's more about how you mean it. Do you mean the armor having perks in general are more RPG/shooter-looter like, or the way they're doing it?
    From my point of view, outfits having abilities/benefits does make some sense in a survival game. What's gonna protect you more, a full swat outfit or basic clothing? What's also going to be heavier, a full swat outfit or basic clothing. But in that regard, bonuses should be like if you gave a heavier armor set a 10% bonus to armor, or a light armor 10% bonus to stamina.
    What doesn't actually make any sense is the actual benefits that are given to the outfits, which is what I think you're talking about relating to the RPG/Looter-shooter comment. Like, the rogue bonus giving 10% more cash/dukes, or commando taking self healing 25% faster. It seems like they're trying to make the armor sets give players a "class" instead of actually being armor related.

      No because they're adding Quadruple pocket mods and I THINK they're also letting you put more than one kind of pocket mod on each piece of armor. But 4x4 = 16, pack mule gives 15 so it's still redundant.
      The bigger question is how all the other mods are balanced because if they are all way more valuable now it might be more worthwhile to pack mule mid to late game to remove the pocket mods to equip a banded armor plate for example.

    My back is sore watching the character ride in the back of the truck. TFP couldn't even install a seat where the passenger doesn't hit their head on the roll cage on every bump.
    And wow, the truck is so floaty when impacting solid objects, and the wheels don't turn? I hope that was just a beta game version

      @Jumbo51515 right click the game > options > Alphas > and select the version you want to play. At that point steal locks you to whatever alpha you set it to until you change it.
