    You got to question what the people who needed this back in 1990 were doing with their controllers

      One of my sister's boyfriends in the mid 90's worked at a Jewelry and pawn shop his mother owned here in the US, so I would go by it from time to time to see what they got in stock in the back room, and honestly some of the NES systems they got in had SODA, Kool-aid, and GOD only knows what else spilled all over them. So yeah with kids, and parents who don't give 2 fracks you never know what can happen. Honestly though if I had those colored buttons for my NES controllers back in the day my friends would have been like RAD Man!

    When those membranes are worn out, the carbon contacts are gone. You cannot clean them and expect them to work again. Take a look at old computer keyboards.

    • @OmoiSenpai
      @OmoiSenpai 5 лет назад

      Usually with the game pads, they wouldn't be worn out, but rather, it would catch a lot of derbis/ gunk etc. and they would work easily after cleaning them/ rubbing the contacts' on some paper. Quite impressive for them, especially when they're 25+ years old!
