This car has been an underrated beast, i popped a tune box on mine when it was out of warranty, 184 goes to 240ps / 500NM. Pulls like a train i'm 80k in and it's still driving sweet, dusting more than it should. And hitting 54MPG power of diesel. Booting it though I can get it down to 10mpg if driving hard! She doesn't get beasted often! Shes an old gal now...bless her. 6 in April, 2016 s7 for me next
@ChatYTB Its a subtle sleeper thats for sure. Looking to do something else but not sure...I love surprising people, kept up with an m3 going up a steep hill he was on it hard i could smell his engine, once over the crest he left me but for about 30 seconds he was like wtf!
I have a 2018 A3 184bhp sline black edition quattro and love it, traded it in for my S1. So much quieter and comfier, performance is great for everyday.
Joy. I have the A3 Saloon TDi Quattro 2.0 184 PS as well and man it’s a great car. It’s basically a diesel S3 and drives lovely. 19” rims are hard and a bit uncomfortable if I’m honest, stick to 18”
A3 8V 2l tdi fwd 150hp with good software and some other changes round about 200hp on 17'' winter wheels on wet street goes 245kmh and in the shadow of a good friend;) (Q5 Hybrid) it went 257kmh full loaded car and full throttle and still a fuel consumption of 7.2l per 100km. Just a dream for every student.
Thanks man! Yes, it's all original and stock. I did a fuel consumption video as well, you should check it out! ruclips.net/video/HLXF33Bq2Ys/видео.html
I want to buy a 2019 A3 2.0tdi Quattro Sline Black Edition 184bhp. I am waiting til 2021 since in london we have ULEZ control zone. At least by then the car i want will be 16grand rather then 36grand brand new since i don't have the money for it :( Miles might be around at 41k, i have no problem with that since it will take me 10 years to reach another 41k. Plus i drive on the highway doing 14miles 7 days a week. With a remap of 226bhp on my bmw with fuel cost of £75 that lasts me 3week 4days :)
Very nice video . I did test one a3 2015 2,0 tdi quattro and thought gearbox was kind of jerky , specially from 2-3-4 gear. I have a6 2015 tdi ultra and it’s silky smooth . What do you think about stronic on a3?
Well when the engine is cold I have noticed that from 1-2 it's kind of rough. But when it's getting warm I don't have any problems. In my opinion the stronic is doing a really good job!
Ive got a a3 2.0 tdi quattro 184 ps and the gearbox is indeed a bit jerky. I also think the suspension on the rear is really too soft when in comfort. With passengers goin ober bumps is realy bouncing the car up and down.
@@someguy7657 well the car is an absolute beast but remember the gearboxes are a bit jerky and thr suspension is too soft. Also imo thr quattrl adds nothing to the car. Bettet get the 150hp tdi withoud quattro and do a remap id say. And im saying this because i have a quattro myself. The consumption is higher, the car is heavier.
@@JocarShorts How does this quattro version feel over the fwd one? I used to have the 8P a3 it used to wheel spin for days! I'm looking at getting one of these next year
Simon Cowell I used to have the 8P as well (2.0 tdi 140 HP manuel). Always spinnig wheels on rainy days, so I feel you... But the 8V is on another level! You can push this car as hard as you want without spinning wheels. The gearbox in combination with Quattro works really well together. It’s always fun to accelerate at traffic lights when the roads are slippery and knowing you will get 100% of the power every time 👌
@@JocarShorts Hey bro I've got the 8v now it's the 2015 model was the gearbox in S for your autobahn run? I can't believe how much the quattro changes the car, can nail it from a set of traffic lights without any wheelspin haha! I had the engine remapped to 220bhp/499nm this week and it's made a huge difference
dat way Congratulations to your new car!! Great choice! I think it was just in dynamic for the run. Yeah the Quattro makes a huge difference, that’s what I told you :D I drive like 650 km per week and I am still in love with this car :) Would love to test the 220hp btw, sounds like fun!
The huge lumonisity coming from the exterior turns the video in bad. Try to do these test the afternoon for example. Excuse my english, greetings from spain.
Unfortunate not real Quattro. Haldex system which notoriously malfunctions all the time and you regularly need to top up the oil. Costs an absolute fortune to maintain and service. Audi Quattro is reserved for A4 and above unfortunately

That car needs a big turbo project.

Not at all... It's really quiet.
