David Rakoff -ideacity- Humourist Discusses His Approach to Writing and His Love For New York

Humourist, essayist and author, David Rakoff, describes himself as a "New York writer, who also happens to be Canadian, Jewish, gay, and an East Asian studies major who has forgotten most of his Japanese." David starts off by wondering why he's even been invited to speak. His comedic talk is full of intriguing stories that will keep you engaged. He discusses how he approaches work as a writer, his love for New York (and the way it has changed) and shows us an interesting skill he learnt at wilderness camp.

So glad to see a new video (to me anyways) of David Rakoff. His work is sublime.
