Yes, it is now, tomorrow and the years to come. It is becoming a pattern for him to play hurt every game every year. He is 26 but his body is 30. Herbert if not careful, and this is a big reach "right now" he will become part 2 of another bigtime LA athlete, Mike Trout.

Wtf are you on about? He has only played through 1 injury his whole career and was top 10 in MVP voting that year and had a broken finger last year. We have seen quarterbacks play through much worse for much longer and still produce at an elite level.

Geno Smith has better stats over the past 2 years than Justin Herbert. Watch the Vikings highlights- you should have drafted JJ McCarthy.

Herbert at 12 is a hot take. He ranks in the top 5 of a ton of stats up to this point in his career. He’s had bad coaching. He’s the only reason the Chargers were competitive. Chargers defense has been amongst the worst in the league.

Herbert doesn't have a repeat injury, so if there's no specific injury trend (at 26 years old) I don't expect there to be any long-term health concern. Just have to deal with each issue as it arises. And hopefully Ben Herbert does an excellent job going forward strengthening the Chargers players so injury frequency goes way down! Plus the o-line priority that Harbaugh will enforce will keep Herbert on a positive career arc, as the hosts mentioned.

Dude played the entire fucking season with the rib injury and STILL made passes that most NFL QBs could only dream of making while fully healthy. This is such a lazy narrative.

Herbert is fragile. Being young and getting hurt so much is a huge concern. You should have selected JJ McCarthy for Harbaugh but loser franchises always keep losering
