How's the high speed stability and what issues,if any,you had with the 390? I'm racing husky 501 and just too much a handful for my(SE&TRA/NEPG-12 races 23)
Bike is perfect all around in my opinion, best 4 stroke I've had. Only issue I've had was a fuel line came apart inside the fuel tank, but that was my own fault!
Great to watch. That Beta soundtrack is fantastic. I’ve heard beta’s may not be as agile as some competitors in tight stuff. What’s your feeling on that?
@@VignesLVG I would agree it is not as agile as some other bikes (steering radius gets cut short due to the forks hitting the radiators). I was able to modify it to work better and i have no issues. On super tight corners, I have learned to slide into them or pivot turn if needed. At high speeds, it is more stable than any other bike I've rode. However, they did fix that issue on the 24 models.
@@Pman4747 Nicely done! You just don't seem to make mistakes. Very nice riding. Did you end up doing anything with the suspension on your bike? I ride A but I'm hearing even some AA guys say the Race Edition is valved stiff. Not sure what model I'd enjoy for your type of riding.
@@djarecke Since I always have to work on Monday, I don't push myself as hard as I used to! Trying to decide whether to race A or B again this season.. But no I haven't made any modifications to the suspension other than raising the forks in the triple clamps a bit. I also run a few clicks STIFFER than the race settings on the KYB setup sheet found on Betas website. For just trail riding and putting around, it is quite stiff. I feel like its perfect for me during a race however. I weigh about 165 lbs.
@Pman4747 I was in same row as you, you were getting it I couldn't keep up. I hit tree about couple miles before finish thought broke leg and dnf. Was great day till then.
@@rwalden1999 Ah man that's no good buddy! Hope it heals up quick! Was definitely a fun day, one of my favorite races of the year. Hope to see you next year!
Dude you were haulin ass. I got the same bike. Love it. Peace🤘

@@Pman4747can you please share what did you modify to get more steering?
Awesome riding!!! How did you finish and what class? That looks like AA riding to me!
Thanks! Man, I wish that was AA riding! I placed 3rd in Open B at that race. Maybe A this year!

One more question-how many miles you get out of a tankful racing?Did a BETA Demo really impressed with 390&430
With the IMS 3.5 gallon, I would guess about 45 or 50 per tank at race pace.
@@Pman4747you mean per gallon right? 45miles a tank????
Were you in row 18
Yep!
