Final Fantasy VI and World of Final Fantasy got their "normal" boss fight theme perfectly: They don't feel too fast-paced, like, say, Final Fantasy VIII and they don't make you feel like that Goblin chief is the final boss like Final Fantasy V, but they still give you the excitement a boss battle should give you. These two boss fight themes are my favorite in the series.
Does anyone know the English name of this song? Trying to find it on ITunes. Thank you in advance! Edit: found it! The English name for this song is “Mega World of Battle”.
For instrument players I tried to make something I could play: Cm Gm Cm Gm a lot of times and after that pitches to Eb and Bbm and than come back holding in Gm and than all again! I hope these are the right accords! :D
TO BE FAIR, he actually only composed music for SaGa Frontier 2 and Unlimited Saga, but it is where most people know him from. Kenji Ito did most of the games, including Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song ... Masashi Hamauzu is my favorite composer, I simply figured I should clarify as to why being "the SaGa guy" is not entirely accurate, heh
Mekkah Dee I just haven't been a big fan of Shimomura since she started working on KH. I find her works to be a bit sameish from there. And Hamauzu is yet to fail me, so hey! Anyways, thanks for music, always a pain to find these soon after release.
Not really. Both composers have very different styles. Shimomura and her orchestral pieces fit in perfectly with the style and setting of Final Fantasy XV. Hamauzu is better at composing these kinds of synthesiser tracks, which work with games like World of Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy XIII due to their versatility.
Why does the battle themes in this game sounded so similar to FFXIII? FFXIII has the worst battle theme songs among all the FFs I played. This soundtrack is more suitable in the dungeons, but not when battling. Furthermore it's a turn-based game so it should have a battle theme that pumps you in order not to make you feel sleepy.
Even though I liked 13 as a whole I agree. 13 did quite a few things wrong/weirdly, but the battle themes are usually agreed to be good in the west. I say that specifically because it seems Japan really likes 13 or something.
Blinded by Light and Saber Edge, especially saber Edge are two of the best tracks in that game. I know it's just your opinion but personally you just seem like you have some iffy taste in tracks. But out of curiosity, what is your favorite battle theme from past FF games?
PlayStation Vita is a thing that exists, you know. I disagree, though. Considering the sheer nature of the game, it wouldn't be much different even if it were a PS4 exclusive.

I love WoFF. I watched my dad play it non stop
same
@@BobOofinson well damn, thats harsh
@@purplehaze4942 eyo... I just checked back bc I got a notification and... I never posted those. I will delete them right away!
The composer sure loves to put violin and piano in his tracks
A good piano and violin can make already epic music much more epic.
This is more cello
No complains for me there. Piano and Violin are my favourite music instruments.
@Lunatic Panda Wasn't Masashi Hamauzu the composer of this track?
The guy did the FFXIII soundtrack and it’s all violins and piano with techno lol
Hamauzu is such an good composer jesus
This song is like SaGa Frontier 2
Master Hamauzu ❤

no lie this is really catchy lol
I've always wanted to play this game since it came out, I finally did this year. The experience was exactly how I imagined it would be. Fantastic !
This reminds me of that one boss battle theme from 13-2.
"That one boss battle" and 13 people seem to of know what it is lol.

No surprise, since it was made by the same composer.
"That one boss battle theme"
And what is it called?
this is honestly the best battle theme in any final fantasy in my opinion
wooooaaaah calm the fuck down
monkeyswag57 It is honestly a pretty dang good theme, it shows intensity and remains motivational to the player.
haha
I think people missed the imo part, then proceeded to rage lol
Let the battles begin though....
I love the soundtrack of this game 😆👍
"I, Garland, will knock you all down!"
reminds me a bit of FFX challenge at the start
It has a very FFX meets FFXIII kind of vibe to it. Really nice flow to it.
@@Ninetails2000 Yes. O - O
the only soundtrack that i really like this game makes me remenber the old times specially saga frontier
Sharqual. Dang, those beasts. Stack some water resistance, and there you go :)
Lann!! Ix-Nay on the fourth wall stuff!!
AHHH, YES, YES DUDE, TOTALLY FORGOT!
The Twins's LC's Boss Battle
It sounds a little like the Esper Battles in X to me at least. Or the Eidolon battles in XIII
By Esper Battle, you mean XII? The summons in FFX were known as Aeons, not Espers. Espers were in FFVI and XII.
Dude you're way off the mark.
Whats this? Is Odin Afwaid of a widdle wightning?
Say isn't Ramuh the only one you wouldn't challenge to a duel?

this has a real SaGa feel to it - same composer?
Yeah Masashi Hamauzu composed some stuff for SaGa and this
Mekkah Dee thought so, thanks for the quick reply!

Yeah. Also sounds a lot like Sigma Harmonics.
The beginning sounds alot like the legend of legacy
same composer:)
Kinda reminds me of ffxiv battle theme
Final fantasy X has the best boss theme out of all ff boss themes!
Kinda does remind you of it, doesn't it?
Enna Kros BT theme

Hamauzu should really be composing for FFXV instead of Shimomura...
I think that they're both great, I could see both working equally well for WoFF/FFXV.
Mekkah Dee I just haven't been a big fan of Shimomura since she started working on KH. I find her works to be a bit sameish from there. And Hamauzu is yet to fail me, so hey! Anyways, thanks for music, always a pain to find these soon after release.

Hamauzu is a genius

FFXIII did a lot of things wrong, but the battle themes were not among them.
clearly u lack intelligence

Yawn. Another game getting held hostage on a platform that'll hold it back.
lmao ps4 hold it back what u want it on a wii u lmao

Yeah but unfortunately I'm not one of the five people in the world that own a vita, and the wii u would probably be even worse.
Sparky Summers
That makes zero sense, but okay.
KTR88 he's not making any sense at all to be honest T.T
