The GSA r1200 has to go to the dealer because you have to reset the computer after every service and also it voids your warranty so even the simple stuff is best left to them until your warranty is up
Goon Rides, sadly those ugly orange markers are mandatory on your bike in Europe :( But I don’t think police would care if you had them or not, but just in case.
100% agree. Shoelace stuck on peg hits me deep ... I just got a new Mt10, front and rear axle sliders, full gb racing cover kit, frame sliders, etc. Not again lol
I rode like 2 years on my ZX6R before I put frame sliders on it because I hated the way they look I’ve gone down twice since I installed them and they have literally saved the bike both times. They are a great investment because replacing 1 slider is way cheaper than an entire side of fairings.
Also has a huge downside though .. In a higher speed crash they can bent your frame if they get caught on something while sliding, totalling the bike instantly
Did you put thread lock? I would advise to put some on all bolts as due to vibration and heat they might get loose and fly away - talking from experience. I was also wondering why you never adjust (or at least we don't get to see/know if you do) your suspension. You are a tall guy and I bet you are around 80-90 kg? You should check the rebound and the sag of the motorcycle with your weight on + where the front forks bottom out as I saw on one of the parts in the video you were traveling a lot with the forks (at least it seemed like that by the marks on them). You should definetley adjust your suspension everytime you have a new bike since the bike is out of balance - no universal settings for all!
Yep, I use loctite when it needs it (all bolts in this vid except fairing bolts). As for suspension, I have it done professionally at the first track day I do with a bike.
Love the vids, good idea with the protection for a new bike. I just wish that sliders didn't cost so much. Little metal or composite plates with a few mounting holes for $100+
Purchased my first motonosity key tag. Wanted to support a guys who makes awesome content. Also low key hoping there’s free shipping to Canada and I don’t get surprised with a bill once it arrives haha. Keep up good work man
Love this bike!! (I have the single R and it's such an incredible machine). I did some T-Rex protection on mine, but I like the Evotech as well. Great grip strength 😆hangin' on while going that fast. I can't even imagine the pull. Great Vid. 👊🏽. (40% off... 👍🏼, time for a new horsepower t-shirt).
thx brent, you just gave me a new thing to fear:/ getting my laces stuck to my left foot peg. i dont think ill ever be able to ride again with that in mind;(
I ended up getting the XWorks flash on my 2020 M. I'm so happy to get rid of the flat spot. I also went with the full titanium Motogp Akrapovic exhaust. Really sound good.
Yeah I put them on right before I sold it. I had womet tech ones on there before but swapped them onto the R3 when I was building it and just left them on.
Hey motonosity, have you ever thought of workin with miami manny fro motomilliin? his sight is completely awesome and it’s got literally all parts and stuff you were liking for and MORE from you mod plans video....650ib’s always repping then, and for good reason!
Another mod is to go with a lighter chain and sprocket yeah sure they don’t last as long but with all of that weight being lost the engine is going to wrap up so much happier and you’re gonna have a lot faster time and a good time as well as new wheels LOL
We have found that the hexagonal pattern in the Evotech radiator guard has not had any impact on the overall bike operating temp. The airflow is still fantastic.
I like when I see people that can work on their own bike/car and not taking it to a mechanic for every little thing
Sry to burst your bubble but this hardly even classifies as bolting shit on, no hate but yea...

Gandalf with an AK-47 they are mainly for low speed mishaps tho. Nothing is gonna save the bike at high speeds anyways
@@mooiboyace wont the higher speed crash total the bike anyway?
The bike is so nice can’t wait to see more.
I legitimately love this bike. I got one a week ago in black and these mods are very useful.❣️
Fender eliminators are always my number 1 first mod....them stock jobs are hideous!

It’s electrically controlled
brandon lim only the front forks and you can still adjust it as to rebound. The rear shock is not electrically controlled - the sag of it etc.

I wish aftermarket suppliers the best of luck trying to figure a damn solution for that fender eliminator...
Evotech already makes a pretty clean one that I've been thinking of installing. Also hoping TST comes up with a cool tail light solution
"in your garage and you lay the bike down..." Can confirm, it did not feel good...bought the bike 2 days prior...didn't even have 300 miles on it.
its that fame sliders protecting the fairing? looks like is too short

Thanks man! If it was just the one keytag, it should get to you for free ;)
It’s nice to see you don’t have drill any holes in the body panels to get the frame sliders on
It's almost like they designed the bike with that in mind!
The rare case where engineers actually did something right 😂
@@Need4SteveMoto The crew at Evotech are very engineering focused. Its a UK company with an amazing production facility.
Hot damn that bike is fast. Thank god for that ecu flash.
It just GOES at any speed, any gear. So much fun

A video about protection... nice😏
👌👈💦
I really like the stock mirrors
Gonna have my first bike for the upcoming summer just prepping myself 😏😏

I ordered everything on this video, can you please help out with the tq spec ? Thank you
Awesome video! Glad you are protected!!!
Cant wait for fender eliminator, exhaust and also the mirrors
What setup do you have for go pro to make it so clear while you’re riding?
O M Shit , one of the best things you can do to a sport bike is take off the passenger pegs. Your bike is sexy Yo. Hahaha
1st gear got you all the way up to 92mph?😧 9:20-ish is what I’m referring to.
In the US are you able to register the bike for a single rider (no passenger)? Here in Australia you can and it saves a bit of money.
There's no such thing as registering a bike for number of passengers in the US
Hi sir,
How many Nm of torque you applied for the frame slider?
Hey man, love the videos! Is there a certain torque wrench you prefer? I can never get a look at what it is
Evotech is quality. Worth looking at their tail tidy too...
Totally agree!
When is the exhuast coming lol 😔😔🤧🤧
When's the top speed run? You've been teasing us lol
needs the exhaust
What tools did u use for the frame slider?
What torque spec do you use on the wrench for the bolts that don't have specs? (I.E. your fairing bolt)
thx brent, you just gave me a new thing to fear:/ getting my laces stuck to my left foot peg. i dont think ill ever be able to ride again with that in mind;(
Double knot and tuck em into the laces!
Pants leg can catch too
